Tough but soft. Dense foam. I was worried it would have large cells and be too easy to tear but it is good. I got it to cover a ramp for my old dog so she can get on the couch. Even with carpet she sometimes slipped and this fixed it. I can think of 1000 other uses.

There's not much to say about this product. I bought it for an in-car Qi Wireless charging project where I needed to replace the factory rubber pad that holds mobile phones with something that the induction charging would be able to pass through properly. This came in very handy as I quickly traced the existing pad onto the neoprene and cut with a hobby knife. There was no bunching, tearing, or random bits of material falling off. It cut clean and worked great for my project!

Nice thickness for under the sewing machine and serger, does stop sliding/walking of the machine, and cuts down vibrations. It does have that foam rubber smell when first opened but that goes away after a day or so. Now that I know it works for the wife's sewing machines, I'm thinking about using the rest for under my cheap bouncy scroll saw.

I have purchased this product twice. Just so you know, I did NOT use 4 of these, after I installed my first one, I put the box containing the second one away some place where I cannot find it, so I had to order another one. That is a testament to this product, because it worked so well, that I ordered the same exact one. My phone fell off my workbench, onto a sharp metal object. The protection sheet cracked, but the screen did not. It did it's job. Also, when I applied the replacement to my screen, I thought I messed up, because there was, what I thought to be a dust speck underneath. It looked like the speck was creating an air bubble, it bothered the hell out of me, and I was going to replace it with the spare, but a few days later, the bubble was gone! It looks perfect now. Works perfectly, no issues. I will purchase again, but hopefully won't need to.

I have used this as a vibration buffer in the joints between some self made Monitor Speaker stands. I took 4 wood planks and filled the center with sand, using this foam rubber as a vibration shield between the connection points to the platforms on either end and used a larger portion of the rubber to cover two of those platforms for the Speakers to rest upon. The vibrations are now dispersed between 3 layers of foam and ~20 lbs of sand before they have a chance to reach the floor. No more angry neighbor downstairs and a happier listening experience over all with a little help from this product.

I bought this foam to make a cosplay, and I was pleasantly surprised. I do not recommend this foam for anyone looking to make rudig armor however. This foam is so soft! It’s great for cosplay armor pieces that sit next to joints tho! It moves really easy and is super flexible! For cosplay uses I recommend painting with acrylic paint because it is so flexible it won’t crack on the foam as easy. Super glue works very well with it. This foam has a nice weight to it. It is difficult to cut with a blade tho, I found that scissors work surprisingly well for this material.

I'm no expert on neoprene rubber, but this seems like good stuff. I bought to make a dew/light shield for my telescope. I needed to square up the edge, but it cuts easily with an X-Acto knife. Adhesive Velcro I purchased adhered to it without issue, and is not peeling off - just use some sense and make sure you put good pressure on the Velcro to make sure it adheres, and don't leave it in the sun where the adhesive will soften. Product came wrapped in clear plastic. I plan to make a large mouse/gaming pad with it, and who knows what else.

I bought this foam rubber sheeting to use to construct a base in which to store certified coin slabs in display case drawers. It cut easily and was easy to glue into place. It holds the slabs securely and looks great. I glued velvet cloth over the rubber to give it an even better look. I highly recommend this product.

I needed to design, and make a new liner for my dogs' prosthetic brace. The original became a pull toy for two of our pups (!!!!), and the company wanted an outrageous price to make another one. This neoprene, in my opinion, is of the same good quality as the high dollar one, and with the size of the sheet, I have plenty of fabric to experiment to make the perfect liner for her. Even if it takes me the entire sheet (I'm hoping it doesn't), I still won't have the amount of money invested as I would for a new one from the company. I'm up to the challenge so this one can fit her leg the way it should! I'm also a crafter, so there are lots of uses for this fabric. Highly recommend.

I read a lot of bad reviews about uneven thickness, easy-to-tear, smelly, etc. I experienced none of these things. The material was even thickness, uniformly soft and spongy, and had no strong smell. CAVEATS: it is difficult to cut, and almost impossible to cut straight. I used scissors and had a heck of a time because of its softness and pliability -- it stretches slightly while cutting. If I had it to do over again, I'd use a flat surface and a pizza cutter. It's NOT tough, and it will tear with modest force. This material is for laying between other objects as a cushion. I used it under a wooden wine rack on a wood shelf -- it took out all the noise and wobble. One more thing -- as received, it did NOT come with straight-cut edges. So I had to trim straight all the edges that I cared about. So --- I'm happy with it, and within its limitations I'd recommend it.
