Love my dual function thermometer

This product is pretty accurate with temperature measurements and I am loving it so far. I love that I can double check temperature using head and ear probe. It helps me make sure the measurements are accurate. Also love the green and red light feature for times when I am measuring temperature in the dark. I would definitely come back and post an update when I have used my device several times. So far I love this product and I think it was a good buy for the price

Pleasantly surprised

I’ve been eyeing up ear reader thermometers for a while now, but never willing to spend the $40ish on them when I would find them in The store. I was very surprised by the quality of this product. It’s simple to use, and of course, as soon as I got it, I tested it a LOT on everyone in the House to see if the readings were consistent. They are up to about .1 or .2 which is good to me! The reading is also completed in a second or two, which is awesome. Not only will I not have to wake my sick child to check body temperature, but the results are almost instant. I am VERY happy with this purchase!

I love that I can use this on the forehead OR in the ear. I've never seen a thermometer like this before. GREAT I received this product for free to give my honest opinion. And, I'm telling you, the lights and almost instant readings really help me help my family!

Best thermometer I own

This has quickly became my most reliable thermometer. With two toddlers I have went through numerous thermometers over the past few years both expensive and cheap and this has become my favorite. It’s reliable every time, I’ve tested it on both the head and ear within a few minutes and get a very close reading between the two. I prefer the head over the ear for myself but for my two toddlers that’s actually the opposite. The head takes a little longer to get a temp because you have to hold the button down and glide across the head and let it take a reading from one temple to between the eyebrows back to the other temple. With a 1yr old that’s pretty much impossible. However, using the ear part is an instant readout which I very much appreciate when it comes to two kids who don’t like to sit still. I like that it's green when the temp is normal and turns red and beeps when the temp is too high (see video). Takes all the guess work out of taking a temp!

Great Buy

Forehead read 101.9, ears read 99.9 and 99.5. I then used a rectal thermometer and got 102.5. I expect this kind of accuracy since rectal is always most accurate. I think this thermometer is great for kids when you need a fast reading. If it seems really high (to the point where .5 degrees truly matters), I'd suggest using rectal if possible. Overall, I think this rates as well as any of the other big name brands.

Just What Our Family Needed

The Baby Ear Thermometer with Forehead Function is the perfect thermometer for every family. I am absolutely thrilled with The Baby Ear Thermometer because it is fast and efficient. I have two children that are under the age of 3. My daughter is Autistic and HATES when anything touches her face or ears. As you can imagine this makes getting her temperature a particular challenge for our family. My husband and I dreaded having to check her for a fever. When the Baby Ear Thermometer arrived the first thing we did was try it on the kids. The Baby Ear Thermometer took her temperature so fast that we avoided a sensory meltdown, as you can imagine we were beyond excited! We also tried the thermometer on our1-year-old son. Our son is always on the run which made taking his temperature an Olympic event. I tried out the thermometer on him, in one quick swipe I was able to see that he was running a low-grade fever; I gave him some Tylenol and sent him on his way. The Baby Ear Thermometer has two options; the first option is a reading from the forehead (with the top shown in the picture). With this mode, I swiped from the ear to the kid’s eyebrows and then back again and had a reading. I even snuck a reading in on my husband just to show him how it works and he was impressed as I was. The second mode is the ear mode (tip of the thermometer comes off and reveals an earpiece), with this mode you pull the ear back and up and insert it. I have at least 5 different thermometers in my cabinet; we have tried so many different kinds. My daughter hates them all and each time we used them it was sensory overload for her. My son was okay until he started walking then none of them could give us a reading quick enough. Consequently, they are stored away and never used. I am so excited to have The Baby Ear Thermometer with Forehead Function; this is a thermometer that we can use on everyone in the house. My only regret is not getting this sooner.

Great, multi-use thermometer

This is a great thermometer. I tested the forehead reading and it was accurate. I have tried others in the past and not had luck with the forehead scan. This was simple, easy and accurate. The ear probe is under the cap, so it is nice to not have to keep track of ear probes. It's a compact device and very accurate.

Works great.

Really awesome dual ear/forehead thermometer. Have tested it with a second accurate thermometer and it has very little if any field of error. Love this because it works as ear thermometer or forehead thermometer which gives you a baseline while littles are sleeping. No more need to have 2 thermometers!!!

That may work fine with a tiny infant who doesn't move but there ...

OMG WHY DIDN'T WE BUY THIS SOONER. Babe just turned 10 months and had her first fever. There have been a few times before where paranoid first time mom thought she had a fever and attempted to use a probe either rectally or under her arm. That may work fine with a tiny infant who doesn't move but there was NO way my 10 month old could last more than 3 seconds. Thank you prime same day. Anyway, I needed a thermometer that was quick and pretty accurate. I'm not going to freak out (at home) over the difference between 102.1 and 102.7, but like I need to know if we're at 101 or 105, and I need it to be right. This guy is accurate (was only .1 off dr's) and SO fast. It can be instant if needed. I showed my babe on my forehead before I did hers, and she didn't mind at all. Once she started feeling a little better, she would put on my head too! We didn't use the ear yet but I'm so impressed with the forehead! We also were playing with the buttons and can use to check the temp of our guest room! ha I also did while babe was sleeping and she kept sleeping and I got her temp. This thing is truly awesome. Get one.
