Bought this for my kid and I haven't seen him in weeks. He is in his room and I can't get him off his darn computer. So, 5 stars for giving this tired mom a break.

I have been wanting one of these for a while, I finally bought one and so far it's great! I was a little worried because it seems to have mixed reviews, but I have no complaints. All the buttons are very responsive, easy to press, and have a full range of motion. Note that it is a wired only controller and will not work unless plugged in, unlike the Xbox standard controllers. There are 4 LEDs affixed to the control board and they're very bright and give off very vibrant color. You can also very easily customize the color though the PDP app. You select a color on a color wheel. You can also adjust the lighting intensity if it's too bright for you or you can shut it off completely. I attached photos of just a few colors to show vibrance. Note that it is bright in my room so they don't look as vibrant as they actually are. I have been using my standard Microsoft xbox one controller for a few years and transitioning to this one was no problem. They look almost identical to each other, with the only obvious difference being the Xbox home button. On this controller, the home button is rounded and not illuminated. Other than this, they are the same size and all the buttons are in the same place. The PDP app is also right in the Xbox store and is very easy to use. Through the app you can remap the buttons, update the firmware, run diagnostics tests, etc. It's very useful. I will update if anything goes wrong with this controller, but so far I LOVE this controller and am glad I bought it!

These usually last me for about two years, however that’s longer than other brands I’ve had in the past (I play daily.) I just got my third one of these, works fine as always. Usually the rubber on the joysticks will rub down, the base of the joysticks will become worn, and the plug for the wire gets so it’s loose and disconnects... however that last one could be because it’s had to suddenly disconnect after falling or cats with late night zoomies tripping over it. The cord is fairly long too, so unless you’re one of those weirdos with your couch all the way across the room it ought to be long enough. The app (which you’ll need to install in order to cycle colors and adjust vibrations) is easy to use and can be programmed with several different saves. Not sure why you’d want different colors for different games but whatever. I just leave it to cycle through the colors. The color has never faded or crapped out, so that’s another plus. I’ve never had one of these due completely so I don’t know how long they’ll last ‘till death. Cheap enough to justify replacing every few years.

I love PDP's Afterglow controllers. Their controllers are not only great quality, but they're also beautiful with their transparent casing and RGB lighting. This Xbox One controller of theirs is no exception to their reputation. I don't have an Xbox, but I do play PC games. It works great with PC games with controller support, and is supported by Steam Input, plug and play. I can confirm that it works on both Windows and Ubuntu Linux. I also tried it with Google Stadia, which worked as well. The only downside is that this is wired. It has no battery, and you have to connect it via the included USB cord. As long as s you understand this, it's no problem. You don't have to bother with pairing it via Bluetooth or anything. Another great feature is you can program it using the PDP app on Xbox One and Windows 10. With it, you can remap buttons, set sensitivity, configure the built-in 3.5mm audio jack, and change the RGB lighting. You can change the LEDs to any color and have a few effects to choose from, including a breathing animation. Then once you configure it, settings save within the controller itself, so you can bring your settings on a non-Windows 10 device. Overall, it's a great controller, and once you see the customization of it and see the vibrators spin through the transparent frame, I think you'll agree. Recommend for any Xbox One and PC gamer who is as addicted to RGB lighting as I am.

I really like the look of the controller and it works! Read the manual on how to change the colors the brightness is even adjustable! It's a great replacement for my old Xbox controller and it's half the price of a used or new original Xbox controller :D also the plug in wire is inserted upside down then original Xbox controllers so if the plug doesn't fit in one way try the other way :) will review this later in case controller starts to mess up but so far works well and delivered in 2 days 😄 “update” used the headset for first time and no sound had no idea what to do and downloaded app and it appearantly has controller updates haha after updating my controller headset works fine as well as everything else! They did a real good job making this and im very happy with this controller :)

This Xbox One PDP AFTERGLOW wired controller Windows 10 compatible is a very gorgeous one! For 30$ you can get one of the best looking controller for PC! I love every aspect of this product, thanks PDP! You can control the colors of the lighthing with the PDP Control Hub software from Windows Store. I recommend this product, it is a great buy 😃👍 ✅ If you're having a problem with it go and use the PDP app and recalibrate your buttons/triggers/sticks, it could fix your issue, hope this help!

MY BF LOVESSSS THIS CONTROLLER AND SO DO I ❤️❤️THE COLORS ARE SOO PRETTY! AND THE VIBRATIONS ARE IN SANEEE!! I’ll definitely be ordering another one so I can have one too for the next time I go to his house 🧡🧡

The Afterglow controller is a really good 3rd party controller. There are 2 versions of this. Prismatic Afterglow controller and this new one. The old one had wheels on the back that you can map buttons to, but this one doesnt. My friend has the older one with the wheels and its pretty good. This one is also a pretty nice controller. The LEDs are nice and bright and having a 3.5mm headphone jack is nice cause my official Xbox one controller doesnt have it. Its a day one 2013 modle. Audio quality is nice and being able to control the volume via the up and down on the Dpad is nice and being able to turn the mic on and off. Overall solid controller and I will update it if anything changes.

I really like this one. Very solid construction, solid clicks on the buttons and tight, responsive sticks. Now, it's not on the Elite's status, obviously, but it's a super backup. I use it as a backup for my main controller and I've gotten a lot of enjoyment from it. The color scheme is a great feature and looks super in the dark. Triggers and front bumpers have relatively short pulls which is good for my purposes. Highly recommended.

I always liked this controller. It works well for me and I like the extra lights. Yes it's wired. But I would rather have my Xbox power it and have a direct connection instead of having to constantly buy batteries or having to wait for w wireless one to recharge.
