Great player for the price!

I've had this brand of portable DVD player before I bought this red one. We use the older one all the time, we got this one for the ease of not having to move them back and forth. They work great and the fact that you can play games on it is super cool. Our old one did kinda crap out, but I contacted the company and they sent a new one out really fast. So they have reliable customer service on top of having a quality product.

Excellent DVD Players

I received my player last week and have used it most days. I bought it so I can exercise outside. It is amazing. I can view the video and hear everything the instructor is saying. It has a remote so I can stop it if I need to change the equipment then begin it again. I can also take it from room to room with me as I do chores so I can watch whatever I want to watch. It is light and compact and easy to handle so it can be used anywhere not just in the house or car but as I stated outside, lunch time, anytime. It is about the size of an IPad a little thicker. A great buy for the money and very sturdy.

Takes a lot of heavy wear, and still works just fine!

I have bought this product twice: In October 2016, and in December 2017. Here's an updated feedback based on both purchases: After more than a year of taking heavy wear, such as countless falls and the like, my old DBPOWER that I bought in 2016 is no longer working properly. In all honesty, had I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon, it probably could have been fixed. I still rate this product as excellent and a good value, so I bought the exact same product without thinking about it twice. I have never had an electronic gadget taking so much falls and still working like nothing happened (screen in good shape all the time).... so 14 months of heavy use is reasonable, to me. The new unit that I bought in December 2017, features some updates in its interface. The device itself seems to be slightly "thicker" in its dimensions, but it still fits my old DVD holder, so that works. The buttons have a more refined finish, and they feel better, too. There are a few other modifications in some of the accessories, but the overall quality seems to be as good as the previous version, so I am a happy camper. This time I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon because we are tough users. All in all: I am really impressed with this unit. It can even play partially scratched discs other DVD players failed to recognize, so I really value that!

Great player

I have been very happy with this DVD player. I bought it for my 3 year old for a trip to Florida.Other reviews stated the plastic seemed cheap and I would agree When I first got it. That is not the case though My daughter is very hard on things and it has been super durable. It has been dropped. kicked and the dog has walked on it and you can't even tell and it keeps running great. The battery life has been great to. We have played two movies back to back so far and still had battery life. The seller has also been great. I have had no reason to contact them but they have reached out to me to make sure I was happy. The player also arrived quicker then expected.I would recommend this player and seller.

Good portable dvd player for car trips and great customer service!

We bought 2 of these portable dvd players (one blue and one red) in July for our 2 toddlers. Each kid had their own color so that we could differentiate the two. At first we used them on a long road trip..We bought headrest attachments and we put a dvd in one and used an AV cable so that the same movie would play on the other dvd player. They worked great in the car and kept the kids entertained in traffic! No skips and long battery life. They lasted the 3 and 1/2 hour ride. Since our kids don't usually like to watch the same dvd at the same time, we started using these at home too. We hooked them up to the TVs with AV cables so that the kids could watch their dvds in separate rooms. It really helps when making dinner because each kid is occupied. We used them about once to twice a week but unfortunately one of them (the red one) stopped reading dvds. The player said that the lid was open even though it was closed. I emailed the seller and they were quick to respond! I asked if I could return the player for a replacement unit and they sent me a new unit promptly and saved me the hassle of trying to return the old unit. Great customer service! The new player has been in operation for a week and has no problems reading dvds. We have only used the dvd portion but have not used the USB or SD slots to play movies, so I cannot attest to that function.

Worked right out the box. Ordered 2 (instead of dual screen single dvd) in different colors to better align child "ownership". All cords work (have not tried game console though) and are well long enough to reach middle row (for charger). Really like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery so it can go to 3rd row w/o having to worry about moving cords around. Also really like that it comes with a wall charger for greater versatility! Touch panel is a good size for little fingers to operate. Great for the long car rides and for the destination that might provide multiple tv options or none when you really want one, like a rainy day at the beach.

This is a great DVD player

This is a great DVD player. My 3.5 yr old son loves it. We bought this so he could start watching some more educational DVDs as opposed to YouTube videos everyday, and since we received it, he asks for it every day. It arrived in a well packaged box with plenty of bubble wrap and all the extra pieces included in a separate box, which I liked so I can keep everything contained and I don't have to worry about the pieces getting lost. We have not used the 'game' piece as of yet, but I like that this is an extra feature. Everything was intact when it came. The sound is great & the picture even better. I was a bit worried about these two aspects, because sometimes the less expensive devices are problematic, but I must say I was really impressed. I can hear the audio even when I am cooking in the kitchen & my son is at the table, which I think is pretty good. I also like that each button has its own function. I read that some devices have buttons with dual functions (ie; volume and fast forward are the same button so you can't run up the volume without jumping ahead). That is not the case here, so I can teach my son to do just one thing and he can manage on his own without getting frustrated. That is important when dealing with a 3 yr old! I was a bit concerned that the plastic felt a bit cheap at first, but it has held up fine, and I actually think this is good because it is light weight so my son can carry it and I don't worry about him dropping it. For this level player and this price, it is the perfect purchase! Definitely worth the $$!
