The video quality is first rate and getting the cams to talk to my iPhone and show up on the HDMiniCam app was a simple matter. Getting them to show up on the IPCMultiView PC software was a little more complex but with some good advice by Daniel of DENT Products, both cams now display there too. For the record, a clock spy cam from a different company also works with both the iPhone and PC programs.

Reliable and discrete hidden camera

Great quality for the price. The set up was straight forward and the application is very user friendly. I love the motion sensor and night vision feature. I can check on my pets anytime, anywhere. This device has really put my mind at ease whenever I'm traveling or away from home.

Excellent Quality - Very Sensitive

Okay so we have a dog that like to get into the trash (which one has always been a mystery since we have 3) however, since installing this easy to use camera, video recorder we know who the guilty party is (Allie-Gator) was so busted. I also like the fact that when we are out of the house I can set alarms to let me know when there is motion in the area. The only bad thing is, is that this device is very sensitive (our ceiling fan) set's it off. But other than that I love it, and will purchasing a few more for around our house.

Nice hidden nanny cam

My dad lives alone. After he slipped and felled, we bought 2 nanny cams to monitor the living room and the hallway just to make sure he's moving around okay everyday. But he always complained that we are spying on him and there are too many cameras. He said 1 camera is enough. To make him happy, we swapped out 1 of the nanny cams with this hidden camera. Setup was easy and the pictures are clear. With the LED light turned off, he is no longer complaining about too many cameras watching him.

Very good camera at price point, actual customer service

I had trouble setting up the camera since I have an older Android phone. I email DENT Products and they responded to me right away. They even called me on the phone and walked me through the setup. We were able to setup live view and turn on the motion detection feature. There are many different usb hidden cameras sold on Amazon, but I am glad that I bought the one from DENT Products due to their excellent customer service

Amazing product!

This is an excellent camera. Very easy to install on your phone with an app. The picture quality is great! The charger works perfectly. I thought due to the low price, there would be low quality. This product surpassed all my expectations.

Simple and easy to set up with a good quality picture

I looked at probably a dozen of these type of security cameras, including a recent 2'fer deal on Woot. I decided on this one because as we all know, Apple does not make a black plug. So those that look like that are clearly not going to fool anyone. This one passes for many generic chargers, and with the USB, it works like a plug would anyway. The plastic shell is a shiny black, which is good as the pinhole camera is barely visible up close and not visible from just a couple feet away. I got it to put in my house while construction people were coming in and out doing some work. Not always being around to supervise, I wanted to protect areas of the house that are deemed off limits. Set up was a breeze. The camera uses 2.4Ghz wifi only, so be aware. However most wifi routers now broadcast in 2.4 and 5Ghz, so I doubt thats much of an issue. You need the app to run the camera, and the app works simply. Know the password for your wifi before attempting setup. I also found it much easier to configure by using the phone as close to the plug as possible (just for setup). There is a little slide off "door" on the back that holds a micro SD card. As far as the picture quality, its pretty good, even in some lowlight conditions (just sunlight through some blinds, no lights on in room). I'll attach a picture to this review later. Overall I am impressed, and the motion trigger works very well. One thing to keep in mind is that this camera is going to shoot in a straight line from the plug. So if you need face pics, the subject needs to be more than a few feet away. If your plugs are in the standard floor height, you are going to get a lot of pictures of legs and dogs, like I did. If you have plugs at a higher height (say kitchen counter, etc) you get much better overall pictures. Update: moved this to a brighter spot and this pics are great!

The camera works just as expected, no problems whatsoever. Setup was easy by following the instructions on the included guide and on the app. I figure it took me less than 5 minutes. The quality of the video is very acceptable, maybe not Full HD quality but definitely watchable. I'm using it in a not very well lit room, so it might be a lot better under proper lighting conditions. Motion detection works perfectly. It starts recording as soon as it detects motion and you can adjust how long it will keep recording after such motion. Mine is setup to 3-minute clips, which might be too long... maybe I'll try with shorter clips. I'm using it with a 4GB microSD card and had no problems getting it to recognize it. It just worked and saves the clips properly so you can take the card to your PC to watch the videos or watch them through the app at any moment. You can also set up the app to alert you when it detects motion and watch a live feed or watch any of the recorded clips. There are a lot of options for customization. The field of view is not very wide. You need to put it in just the right location and position to make sure it records the intended area, which might be tricky considering it needs to be plugged in to an AC outlet. Overall, it's a good product and I would certainly recommend it.

best charger camera

This camera is great. I have one like it but the big difference is the wifi connection, and it alerts me whenever motion is detected. Set up was a snap, and now I'm just waiting to catch someone in the act!!! The price is very good, in comparison to the spystore I visited not long ago, this device in that store was $160.00 so you are definitely getting a good bargain. The picture quality is decent too. And the charging decoy actually works as a charger. You can hardly see where the camera is ,,,,highly recommanded
