My favorite lancing device

I have used a lot of lancing devices looking for the one that I think it generally the best. You can't determine this with one or two lances, but over time. There are just so many variables that determine how a lance prick will feel, The depth of the lancet setting, the location on the finger, the finger lanced, the pressure applied to the device, whether your hands are cold or warm, can all contribute to the experience. However, after many uses and comparison to other devices, I have come to the conclusion that this is one of the more gentle spring loaded lancing devices and the one I prefer. I noticed that some reviewers complained about the durability of it, but the weight of the spring and lancet holder arm may be what makes it a tad more gentle. So come on, it's a $5 medical device, rugged is not a criteria for selection.

The lancing device is the easiest and best I've ever used (I've had type 1 diabetes for 40 years so I've tried them all). Can't even feel the finger pricks as the needles are so ultra fine. I would especially recommended these for beginners!

Works very well. Easy and intuitive to use. The display is large, so it's easy to read.

Hurts the least and great price

The first one of these I bought, the cap was a little flimsy and comes off a little too easily exposing the lancet. Probably because my dropped it or something. However, this lancing device hurts less than others we've tried so we bought 2 more. The caps on the second and third devices I bought are much more solid. This is a great lancing device for the price. Very affordable to get extras as backups.

Customer Support is great!

This is very easy to use, unless you do one small thing I was doing. So I wrote customer support and left my phone number. They called me and asked me step-by-step what I was doing and sure enough I was turning on the meter before putting the test strip in. That was the whole problem. They also sent me the steps to make it work perfectly and called me back to make sure it was working! The customer support is available 24/7. I'm very glad I purchased this product. I just wanted to keep a watch on my blood sugar after watching an 11 part series on the brain. Now I can!

I am a first time user for any type of blood sugar monitoring so it was difficult to narrow down what I needed between all of the selections out there. It is very easy to use and provides a nice large readout with everything needed in one purchase right down to the bag. This device is impressively accurate each and every time I perform a test. I compared it to my lab results and it was within 3 points. Not even my One Touch was this accurate. Wow!

Exactly what I needed

I am monitoring my blood sugar for pregnancy and needed something affordable and accurate. This machine is wonderful and I haven't had any issues at all. I don't use all the settings for storing the readings in the memory but it's a nice feature for those who would need it. The biggest bonus for me is the ease of use and that it comes with everything needed and stores nicely in a small pouch. Very happy with this purchase!
