Sturdy, easy to install

Bought this for bedsharing with our baby. Very sturdy and easy to put together and install. It folds really nicely too. The photos in the description are very thorough and helpful especially since the instructions that were included didn’t detail how to install the white bracing strap. But a great deal and much better quality than the other Regalo one we purchased for our toddler. The padded bars are great too makes it a very nice quality.

Great design, sturdy, easy to assemble!

Really a great design. The instructions could be a little better but easy to figure out. Very sturdy and easy to lift up and down. Noting it's still very sturdy without having to screw it to the bed rails (although the wood screws are provided did not need them. We have an 8 inch mattress in a trundle bed and this sits perfect/sturdily against the wood side rails and on top of the slats under the mattress. No sharp/pointy edges for little hands to get caught in either. So glad I read all the reviews and got this vice the Reg@lo... couldn't be happier - just a great design.

We are Happy!

I am the worst at writing reviews and posting pics of things I buy, but I love reading peoples review. I decided to write a review for this bed guard. WE LOVE IT. We transferred my two year old son to a twin bed because he had always hated his crib and the toddler bed, he loves his space and was sleeping in our bed. The same day that the guard arrived we installed it on his twin bed, he slept on it the same day. It was very high, a little more than I expected so there is absolutely no way he will roll over and fall. It is secure, and I love that we can put it down when making the bed, or if we want to sit on the bed. We definitely recommend this item.

One of the best stop looking for other product

What a great product. I usually do not give any revviews to products but this product forced me to give reviews because this is a phenomenal product. Very easy to Install . Durable and great material. I have used multiple bed rails in last 5 years but this is the most handy and easy to install and stays and place and easy to use

Great for platform beds!

This bed rail was a life saver. We tried so many other brands and none of them worked with my sons platform bed. Easy to set up and install. We did not use the strap provided but rather, used 4 short screws and secured it to the platform itself. Super sturdy and pretty high up for a thick mattress!

Seems to have worked just fine the past three nights

Seems to have worked just fine the past three nights. Big toddler rolled up against it and kept onsleeping. Decent construction quality, and good height over the bed on a thick full size mattress with pad. Instructions don't fully explain how to use anchor strap, but figured it out, and it cinches tight as the plate can't be pulled between box spring and mattress on the opposite side. You could also anchor with screws if you want.

Easy assembly/ installation, but make bedding changes a challenge

I ordered 2 of these for the queen size bed my 2-year old sleeps in. Easy assembly and relatively easy install on a platform bed (with a partially recessed mattress) - it helps these are height-adjustable for deeper mattresses. Not great to lower or close in the middle of the night though - you need to push both sides to release and they make a loud click (or two) at close, so I would suggest keeping them closed (i.e. up) at all times. Keep in mind these are permanently attached if installed on a platform bed, so you can’t pull the out to change sheets/pads - you have to somehow work around them at bedding changes, which is 0 fun, hence the ‘ease of use’ rating.

Good product

Very pleased with this safety bed rail. Our 4y/o daughter transitioned into a big girl bedroom and a full size bed. We needed a safe bed rail that could help her not to fall out of the bed at night and kooldoo is doing exactly that. It was very easy to put together and a breeze to install on the bed frame (our mattress is 12 in thick and sits on the metal bed frame). Love that it can be folded down as needed.

Awesome Rail for Twin Panel Bed (for 2yr old)

My daughter (2yr old) has a Panel Bed with an European Pillow Top Mattress which is at least 14". I searched high and low for a long time and read hundreds of reviews on all the rails available in the market and I have to say I'm very happy thus far with this rail. It's very tall after installation compared to others available and very easy for parents to lower using the large buttons on the side but not at all easy for children - not even my 9 year old could figure it out. My hubby attached the bottom pieces (2) to the wood rails that came with the panel bed (below the mattress) very easily.

Safe and secure

I purchased this bedrail in Amazon for my 3 year old daughter's full size bed. After she fell off the bed in the middle of the night a few times I said enough is enough. This bedrail required about 10 minutes for me to put it together by myself and a second pair of hands to install it. I would say it was pretty easy to put together and install. I feel like it is sturdy enough for our needs. It does move slightly if you push and pull on it but not enough to worry me. Since we installed the rail, our daughter has slept safely on her bed every night!
