My cat is VERY PICKY .... years ago somebody told me that this particular flavor of Fancy Feast didnt have all the extra junk added to it that their other canned food does.... Well guess what its the only food my cat will constantly eat! She turns her nose up at so many canned food products ... I've pretty much given up trying other brands. The think I love about this product is you can see the flakes of fish and shrimp ... I can identify the food :) My cat can too... and she gives it 5 stars been eating it for 4.5 years!

Our kitty is a poor eater...I often fall into the trap of trying to tempt her to eat more by offering her a variety of canned foods. As I see the number of untouched food dishes on the floor increase I realize that it is time to return to the one food that seems to help settle her stomach and that she routinely eats more of than anything else. I too often have trouble finding it at my local markets, sometimes having to go to 3 different stores and still not finding in in stock...so I am glad to be able to order it in quantity so that this important food will always be on hand for her. Price is good and delivery was fast and much appreciated.

We adopted one cat named Jonathan Louise (female) who will only eat Purina Fancy Feast Flaked Fish & Shrimp. Until we found it, I thought she'd starve because she refused to eat anything. The can really does have a shrimp in it, right on top as you peel back the top. The food is flaky and comes out of the can easily. Any other cat who approaches her Fancy Feast suffers her claws of death. The rest of us suffer her screaming at the fool who dared approach her food dish, too. So, if you have a very picky, demanding cat, try this one.

so far so good, the 2 cats i bought if for ate it right away and after a couple days other cats wanted it too. 7 of 10 cats now enjoy this flavor (some however only like it after it is refrigerated first), 2 others will eat it too if there's not any american journey minced poultry left out and the other 1 really wants to eat as well but, the dry matter carbs are too high for him since he has diabetes. one surprising thing about this particular fancy feast flavor is that my IBD cat got into it and didn't wake me up to clean up a mess later on. he cannot eat any commercial dry or canned food or even perscription food without it making him vomit all over the house everytime but, for some reason he can keep this down just fine which is great for me cause sometimes i don't get around to cooking him his homemade food before we get to last day worth and he won't eat freshly cook food until it has been frozen first. Minor can dents but, nothing major. Food actually smells pretty good for cat food and is very creamy.

I don’t know what’s in this one that’s so different from all the other flavors but my 6 cats (yes 6 don’t judge!) go crazy for this flavor and they always eat it! They’ll even eat food that they don’t like if I mix this with it lol. My cats are 3 seniors and 3 under one year. There’s real whole shrimp (at least one) and fish in every can! Bravo fancy feast for pleasing my picky arse animals.

My kitties have always eaten pate. I've tried giving them grilled before, but they would just lick up the sauce and leave most of the food to dry out. These flaked cans are sort of in between the two... there is a little more juice than the pate has, but both my kitties lap up every single bite. It also leaves the bowl cleaner than with the pate... less to scrape off when washing.

What is a food snob doing reviewing Fancy Feast? I'm trying to get word out that this is a cat food with no carrageenan and a pretty impressive nutrient profile, boasting 17% protein and smelling remarkably fresh. We feed several food sources, with a limited amount of seafood, and this is their favorite in that category. For now. Because cats. For the curious, there seem to be as many mcg of heavy metals tested to be found in land-based proteins as there are in seafood, so I'm not overly concerned about serving fish any longer. Good to follow this subject if you eat or offer it. Our whole family partakes (not the cat food, though I'm not sure there's much difference). Love the little shrimp on top. Like serving Tiki Cat at one-third the price. I love Thailand. My cats love Fancy Feast Flaked Fish & Shrimp!

I bought this food for “dessert” for my four cats. They eat healthy for two meals a day, then get their junk food (Fancy Feast) for a snack before bedtime. They usually do not like food with chunks of meat or fish and just lick the gravy off it. But this food is so delicious that they eat every little bit of it, even trying to push eat other out of their bowls if someone is eating more slowly. I usually just give them the fish pate flavors but bought this because I thought they might like something creamy because they love milk-flavored treats. I wasn’t wrong! This food has become the new standard for what cat dessert should be.

For eight (8) years my cat would eat no Fancy Feast wet food other than Poultry & Beef Classic Pate. But the last couple of months he's been eating less and less. So I started cutting it up for him and he'd eat a little more. Then I decided to buy (6) different cans of food he never HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES FLAKED FISH & SHRIMP! I know for a fact that I tried this once before seven years ago and he wouldn't touch it. But just like humans, if we eat the same exact food day after day for years, I guess cat's taste will change as well.

wish the dry matter carbs wasn't so high for this is my favorite of the fancy feast. the classics and others often have a strong added smell to them not representing it's flavor but, this one literally smells like real roasted turkey and gravy! small tiny minced pieces are perfect and cats like it but, it is too high in carbs for our diabetic cat who loves turkey and he has been pretty determined to steal it from other cats who love this too. been feeding American journey's minced turkey (loved a little more than this but, doesn't smell as good to me) but, when you have 10 cats, saving $5 per case by switching to this FF instead is a no brainer. Would be nice if they had minced chicken too so we could switch to that one too.
