The BEST

I previously bought the 8.5 x 11 size and had to have a smaller one! These notebooks are amazing. I love writing on paper and make tons of lists... but usually if I mess up, I wad up the paper, throw it away, and start again. Now I can just erase it and rewrite, using pen!!! And I can use all the colors of the Frixion line, which is awesome. The reusable feature was what drew me in, but honestly the cloud upload has also changed my life. I do a lot of graphic design research and drawing for assignments. I used to have a scan app that I could upload my files to my Dropbox folders for school but Rocketbook’s app makes it much easier - it automatically recognizes the page and sends it to my desired folder. SO COOL! And I can move file destinations any time as I need to. Love these books!

Great for daily use

Wipes clean well. I follow the instructions and use frixion pen and don't leave content for more than a month. I am an avid bullet journal user so at first was lost in how exactly I should use it. I did like the idea of saving paper the most. After a month, I decided on this format for my best use : - first page for daily work tasks - second and third pages for work meeting notes or just space to write temporary work related stuff - forth and first pages onwards brain dump. But anything with reminders, I add to either Google calendar or todoist as appropriate. I also dedicate entire page at least if I'm writing on specific topics. At end of week, I review an the info and decide what to keep long term. I loved bullet journal for keeping mini physical diary but wanted to cut down on using paper. So I bought bluesky monthly planner from Jan 2019 to December 10 20 which is small pocket size and features monthly calendar and notes. It's small and portable so I look forward to using it as mini journal. For longer notes or diary entries, I am transferring them from rocket book to blog. I used to religiously carry around bullet journal but switching to this gave me less bulk to carry around. I don't worry about losing it anymore since I don't keep much private info on it like in bullet journal book. Overall, I highly recommend it. But do consider carefully how this really works out in your life. And try to adapt to it as well since your initial plan will change as you continue using it daily.

Best thing I have bought in a while.

I bought this for a Christmas gift, but got one in return, too! So far I love these notebooks. The app makes it so easy to convert my notes to a pdf. Just after I got mine, they updated the app to let you use ## to automatically name your files. I can take notes and easily turn it into an electronic file and same it on my computer. The price is fantastic, and I bought a set of the colored Frixion pens to go with it for about $17. So far I love it, and so does everyone in my office. The only thing I dislike is that the dot matrix is too light. The pages are not lined, so there is no real structure that you can see for note taking. You are forced to free hand it, and you end up not getting enough on a page. I also wish there was some way to clean the page without having to dampen a cloth - there is no place to put the cloth, and I don’t like a damp cloth just laying on my desk, in a drawer or in my backpack. HOWEVER, even with those two flaws, for now, I have to say the good FAR outweighs the bad, especially for the cost. If you are diligent it using it, it can really be a game changer.

Love mine! I have a few pages that I know I will constantly reuse with daily and weekly information so I have created 'templates' with a marker for calendars, checklists and meeting notes. I can instantly share ideas with my boss and he purchased one on my recommendation so he can do the same. It has worked out well for both personal use and professional use. The executive size is perfect for me. I fell like the letter size would be cumbersome for my usage. I would like the cover to be a bit more rigid or I'd like to be able to find a cover for it that id just that and not have pen holders and card holders. just a couple of flaps to tuck it into so I felt better about tossing it in my bag. NOT a deterrent for me, but would be nice.

Just what I need for work!

I'm on my computer all day for work, but throughout the day, I sometimes need to scrawl notes to myself to do things or look up information. I used to have post-it notes all over my desk or scribbled notes in steno pads. When I completed everything on the pieces of paper or steno pages, I'd throw them away. With this notebook, I can scrawl to my heart's delight and not worry about wasting paper and trees. I haven't used the app yet because I don't write anything permanent in this notebook; i just needed the white-board functionality. But I showed my high-school aged kids and husband, and they all wanted me to buy them one too. Love the advert video. Always happy to support a creative, independent invention like this product.

Great for the super organized

I LOVE my Rocketbook. It is the single best organizational tool for those who rely heavily on digital storage. I don't have other notebooks anymore, just this. The app and the assignable characters make it so easy to send my notes exactly where I want them. Work, personal, etc. I can set the Google Drive folder I want so that I can quickly scan and move on. Better still is that I can search my digital notes by my writing if I'd like to. (You have the option to turn this feature on/off) I like the Executive size for it's portability and really appreciate the dot gridded pages so that I can decide how I want to organize each page. The new colors are great...turquoise w/ copper binding is very sharp in person.

Excellent product

I love this notebook. I already loved the Frixion pens, and they work beautifully with the notebook. The pages aren't exactly like paper, and you do have to give the pens an extra moment to dry before you close the book, to prevent smudging. (I'm not talking an eternity here, literally an extra second or two, depending on what type of writing instrument you're using. I use the fine point Frixion pens.) Darker color inks work best for scanning and uploading - I used light green on one page, and it was not as clear as the navy and purple ink. Using the double hashtags in the heading works perfectly to automatically name the pages. (I do have neat handwriting, so I cannot speak to how well it will work if you don't write legibly.) The app is easy to use, it scans the pages perfectly every time and uploads them to the right destination. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

The One (Notebook) to Rule Them all

This is my first go at a smart notebook. Having first fallen in love with frixion erasable pens this was my chance to merge my analog notebooks with my digital files and the Rocketbook did not disappoint! Small enough to fit in my purse but versatile enough to capture all my on the go needs. I have labeled my destinations (which the app auto-sorts) to reflect a mix of home, business and personal destinations from Evernote to iMessage to my kids email, so they can also keep homework notes when we are on the go. Very pleased, I will probably buy one for each family member as the organization and application is just so handy.

I wasn't sure what to expect about this product, even after reading TONS of reviews. But, as I've got 5 classes this semester and I didn't feel like carrying separate notebooks for each class. That's where Rocketbook comes in, as it's the perfect solution, between using different colored inks and the ability to send each class to different places. The feel of each page still takes some getting used to, but once you get used to waiting a moment before you erase a mistake, Rocketbook has exceeded my expectations. I love not having to carry a backpack around with multiple notebooks. I love that I can send my notes immediately after class and have them waiting on my laptop at home, without having to fumble around looking through pages and pages of something. Seriously, if you're looking for something slightly unconventional to make your life a bit easier, give Rocketbook a whirl. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Obsessed, so much better than any other note taking paper

This is wonderful and so easy to use! After a time if you live in a hot climate like I do (Arizona) the edges of the papers will fade out so you want to be sure to capture the notes you took prior for leaving them for months in your bag. Be sure you do not use any markers, highlighters, or pens on this book that is not the Pilot Frixion pen, it will stay and not be able to be removed. Highly recommend the Frixion pens anyways as they come in many colors, types, and I like how they write.
