Best notebook ever!
I'm old school and much prefer using pencil + paper for taking notes. However, I hated all the trees I was killing every semester, and it was such a pain to scan the pages in that I rarely ever did it. The Rocketbook is perfect for my needs! Pros: - I can take notes by hand without going through reams and reams of paper. - The app is AWESOME. Just get the page in the FOV and it works. No fiddling to get things lined up, extra steps to bundled pages into a documents, etc. - Automatically titles documents and sends to my Google drive without extra steps. - Can use a permanent marker to create a reusable template (I use the Cornell method for taking notes) Cons: - The Frixion pens do take a few seconds to dry, so smudging would be a problem for lefties. - I wish there was a pocket on the cover where you could store the cloth.

Great for the college kid!
Got this to help keep all of my online class notes organized. I love it so far. I haven't had issues with the ink not washing off. So far the notebook looks good as new. I accidentally forgot to wash off the page and it stayed there for about a month. No stains or anything. Only downside is the black pen that came with it sucks. I think it might be old. Wound up getting s replacement since the first one really didn't work. The second pen works alright, still not the best. I bought a package of colorful pens and those ones work a hundred times better than the pen that came with it.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I know, you're probably reading this and rolling your eyes. Three weeks ago, before I got my newly ordered Rocketbook in the mail, I certainly would have too. Now, instead of five notebooks for classes and one for dance and one for my to do list, I just carry a single notebook and my phone. The pens function exactly as they're supposed to and the pages wipe clean with a little water after I've scanned them into the app and sent them on their merry way to my drive or email The app for uploading works like a dream, you press a button on your phone and get the page into the camera view and it automatically takes a picture and OCRs it or just sends it to your email or your dropbox or google drive or evernote etc. It's really quite simple and setting up was straight forward, especially because of the lovely tutorial you get in the app. I've found the OCR function to be a little bit spotty, but that is most likely an issue with my nearly illegible scrawl. If I can't read it myself it's not quite fair to expect a program to OCR it perfectly. The Rocketbook app simply OCRs as best as it can and I make corrections. It's making my studying so much easier. I can throw together a study guide or practice test now for myself with a minimum amount of extra effort. If you’re a total technophobe, this might not be for you, but having the ability to press ctrl + F and look up a term I’m studying is a bargain at twice the price. If you're disorganized or want to cut down on your paper use, or if you're just tired of all the scraps of paper you use to keep important information on disappearing, then this is the notebook of your dreams.

Bringing the old with the new. A great product.
I really enjoy using the Rocketbook notepad. Since most people use their computers or phones to take notes I thought this would be a fun product. But I really like going back to basics and write my thoughts. It really the best of both worlds. Back to basic while adding in technology. Being able to send my notes and ideas to multiple platforms is helpful. I highly recommend this product and will most likely purchase more. No negative things to say.

Great for Students, a few answered questions
As a highly organized high school student, I love my Rocketbook to take notes in, use as scratch paper, and make quick lists in. The pages are very smooth to write on, and the Frixion pens work well for the most part, but however, some colors like pink and light blue might not show up as well in a scan. The scan system is very efficient, quick, and sharp. The notebook is extremely thin and has replaced the 5 heavy notebooks I used to carry in my backpack everywhere. Overall, it is a great crossover for pen-paper and technology! Questions that I had when I first received mine: -What can you use for the inside front cover table --- anything, but Frixion pen will still erase like normal from there -The guide it came with says not to leave your notes in there when not in use --- they recommend no longer than 2 weeks to avoid "ghosting," little spots from the pen -Will it wear out over time --- it will wear out if you use something other than the microfiber cloth, and it is not a bad idea to alternate pages when reasonable, but you can erase it unlimited times with the microfiber with no consequence

This product is amazing. I cannot express how much I'm loving it. I'm currently using it for work everyday but I'm also taking 2 continuing ed classes and I'm using the same Rocketbook for all 3. Being able to code notes to upload to different cloud services is great. The pens are great too and although there's a slight adjustment to the feel of writing, it's very minor and I adjusted in the first hour. I actually find myself straining to write less with this so it's all around good. If you're interested in not buying a million notebooks again and using one for many things, this is the way you want to go!

Just what I needed!
I bought the Rocketbook for myself for Christmas and even wrapped it and said it was from my wife and kids, that's how bad I wanted it! I am a note taker and I've tried digital notes before but they always lacked the ease of pen & paper, and I've used legal pads but end up misplacing my note pages. This gives me the ease and versatility of note taking in my own hand with the digital cloud storage I need! The Frixion pens clear off with a damp cloth or you can detail erase with clear tip. Now I can take my notes and immediately upload to OneNote or send items via email and text, or save to seceral other cloud based storage services. I've been using the Rocketbook since Christnas 2018 for work and it is everytgibg I was looking for. I'm in real estate so I'm meeting with clients and team members, or I'm writing to do lists, and brainstorming the Rocketbook allows me to write normally, and save my notes easily.

Works great!
As a college student, I go through a LOT of notebooks. I typically buy 4-6 3-subject notebooks every 5 months, that I completely use in that time. I was getting tired of buying so many so often, and lugging around several pounds of notebooks is not fun. I did a lot of digging before deciding that the Rocketbook would be the reusable notebook I'd try out and so far, I do love it! I have been using my Rocketbook for a little over a month now and I have had very little trouble with it. Writing in it was a quick adjustment because it feels much smoother than paper, but it still feels nice to write on. Erasing has not caused any damage to the pages, but you do have to wipe away the area you erased with your finger similar to wiping away pencil shavings, or the pen doesn't write as nicely. I typically fill up all the pages each week, and then on the weekend, I spend 20-30 minutes getting all of my notes onto the app (which is super quick and easy to use) and wiping all of the pages off with a cloth or paper towel. My only major complaint is that the cover is very easily scratched, which is why the front of mine is now covered in stickers. You can really see the scratches on the back cover, though. This is after a little over a month of normal use in a college setting. The cover hasn't really seemed to get truly damaged, but it definitely doesn't look nearly as nice with all the scratches on it. But adding stickers did personalize it a bit, so that's not really a big thing to worry about in my opinion. The pens do seem to run out of ink pretty quickly, but that is not really a Rocketbook problem and is more a Pilot problem. One month of daily use put my first one out of commission and I had to buy refills, but that's a small price to pay compared to buying 12 notebooks every 10 months. Pros: -One notebook for all 5 of my classes, 4 clubs, and other extracurricular activities -Access to all of my notes quickly and easily on Google Drive or on the Rocketbook app -Better for the environment in terms of cutting down trees (not sure about how recyclable the notebooks are though) -App is super easy to use and runs smoothly Cons: -Cover is easily scratched -Pens run out of ink quickly Some things I would love to see from Rocketbook: -Being able to add more pages to a file that's already been uploaded via the app There have been numerous times that I take notes on a chapter in class and upload them, but then decide next class that I would have liked to add another page onto the document. It'd be cool if you could edit them after uploading them through the app -More pages in the book itself Not too many more, because then it would take me much longer to go through it over the weekend, but maybe making a 50 page one would be awesome! -College ruled lined pages, maybe a calendar page in the front or back While the dots do help me write straight, sometimes my writing just doesn't line up right, so having lined pages would definitely make my notes look nicer once uploaded. I also would love to see a calendar as either the first or last page in the book. I have a busy schedule and being able to jot down notes for the month right there in class in the same notebook would definitely help me out. I've made my own monthly calendar on the last page of mine, but having a page already structured would be awesome so I don't have to remake it every month or extremely carefully erase the writing while leaving the outline. Overall, I definitely recommend the Rocketbook to college students looking for a simpler and cheaper way to take notes, or anyone else really. While it does have some minor issues, there are no major problems and it is so much nicer carrying around one single notebook to all of my classes.

Issues with ZTE Blade
**UPDATE** I originally had an issue with getting the app to scan and save properly; see below. The developer needed to get involved. Once I started emailing with tech support, they worked on my issue until it was resolved. The product/concept/paper feel when writing all earned a 5 out of 5 to begin with. Now the app and tech support also have a 5 out of 5. I have 1 tip: I'm a heavy handed writer and the pen writing was patchy, when I applied just a little less pressure the ink flowed great. Pressing harder doesn't help the writing to be darker. Previous review with 3 stars: **I can't get the app to work with my phone (ZTE Blade) but it works perfectly with my yogabook. Both run Android. I was originally disappointed with tech support for a slow response (a little more than 1 day) but once they responded we have been having a back and forth trying to discover exactly what the problem is.

Had it for a few days and bought another one!
I love this! I am the note taker in most meetings and never have time to type them out, so I have tons of notepads that I need to search through for information. The app is SO simple and easy to use! I only had a few other people get excited about it with me, but they’re more takers too lol. My one friend loved it so much too I got her one the same day! If you have a lot of note taking to do, and need to keep it all organized, this is definitely the book for you.
