I received my guitar yesterday and after a few minutes of tuning the guitar played amazingly well for a $100 guitar shipped to my door. I of course haven't had the guitar long enough to judge just how durable the guitar is, and I haven't plugged it in to test the electronics (I will update after I do) but just playing the guitar acoustic it is already worth the price. The strap is great. The capo is crap, throw it away. The picks are thin but if you like thin picks they are fine. And I haven't had a chance to test the extra strings, but the ones on the guitar appear serviceable, but I will put better strings on the guitar soon. The bag is thin, but better than nothing. You can't expect the moon for $100. The guitar is the star here, the other stuff is bonus, the guitar is great after one day. Great value for money so far.

I had my dads old guitar but it was just so big I couldn’t see my hand or the chords and as a beginner I needed to confirm I had the right shapes, strings, etc until I got to the point I didn’t have to look. It felt clunky and I didn’t want to practice. This 3/4 is much more size appropriate for me and it makes me want to practice! It’s so pretty and sounds good to my untrained ear. My dads 30 year old Yamaha sounds much richer but for a new guitar this guy is great! I’m not a petite women either. I’m 5’7”. But I still prefer the smaller size to larger.

What a fun little guitar! Right out of the bag the guitar looks great! Cool cut away design, embossed logo on the headstock, even the shape of the bridge is cool. I bought this for my kids to play on, but I might have to fight them for it. It's has a smaller neck and scale so it feels more like an electric guitar neck, pretty cool! Sounds pretty good for a smaller guitar, you can't honestly expect a huge full sound out of a guitar this size, but it does sound pretty good! Great for a student, kids, younger players or if you've wanted to mess with a travel size guitar, but don't want to fork over hundreds more for a baby Taylor or Martin LX this would be a great way to go. Maybe just one to keep in the office or take it anywhere in the included backpack style back. Comes with some cool accessories. With the the shorter scale you need to work with the capo a little, figure out the sweet spot to put it, but that's just part of learning and adapting. It's all good. I ordered this one for the kids and one of the full size for myself. Kudos Vangoa!

I am a drummer but actually started out playing a ¾ size classic guitar with nylon strings back in 1973 and played for a couple of years. I then started on drums and never looked back. Drumming is still my favorite acoustic instrument today but I wanted to go back to playing the acoustic guitar for my personal entertainment and friends. I found the full length guitar to be a lot more challenging and difficult for me to hold the guitar and chord properly and efficiently. I was unintentionally muting strings a lot. I then purchased this ¾ Vangoa guitar which helped me considerably, correcting all of my playing issues and the cutaway is a real plus because I’m able to rest the guitar on my leg with ease with no more sliding around like the regular dreadnought acoustic body style does. Very little finger pressure is needed on the strings when chording so you can play a lot longer on it. I was surprised of the quality and feel of this guitar. The frets are perfectly mounted and don’t stick out over the sides of the neck, the action out of the box was spot on at .011 inches (the thickness of a business card) at the nut end with a capo on the 5th fret. The guitar just needed to be tuned as to be expected. This Vangoa guitar sounds great and no fret buzz. At first I was getting fret buzz on the low “E” and “A” strings but that was my mistake because I was pushing down way too hard on the strings when very little finger pressure was required so this would actually make a great guitar for young beginners as well as for adults. The jack for the amp is a little loose and the body could use one or two more coats of the lacquer coating in my opinion especially the back and sides but for the price it’s okay because the playability of this guitar is perfect. The tuners insides are metal except the tuner housing and keys are plastic so tune slowly. You could always change and upgrade the tuners if needed. The body wood feels thin and the depth of this Vangoa is a little more than 5/8" thinner than a full size guitar which makes it easier to play. Hopefully it stays tuned and the action stays the same, I will do an update if anything changes. I never seen a picture of a full size guitar next to a ¾ size guitar in any of the other reviews so I thought this one would help for size comparison. Update: 4/3/2019 Guitar constantly goes out of tune and now I can feel the frets sticking past the neck for some strange reason. Still enjoy playing it though.

This is a great beginner's guitar with everything you need to get you started. It features both acoustic and electric acoustic with a tuner build in. My girlfriend and her friends decided to have a late year resolution on learning how to play guitar so I bought this set for her. It comes with a guitar (of course), a carrying case, and a bag full of different accessories (see my pictures.) The strings and spare strings it came with are unlike the traditional type that you have to twist. This one you just need to hook it on. No experience required. Easy cheesy. And use the build in tuner to adjust the strings. The guitar comes in 2 different sizes of your choice. I bought the smaller version (36", 3/4 sized) for her as it is easier to play and carry around. If you have a big hand, get the regular one instead of 3/4. Guitar looks decent. You can't compare it to those close to $1000 pieces. But it is definitely the best, and also best priced, beginner's guitar on the market. Forgot to mention, the packaging is superb. They got everything protected and the 9v battery is new in plastic wrapper. So don't cry if you think you got a defect because the tuner and electric don't work. Take the battery out and remove the wrapper first

Great guitar! For the price tag. Very small but packs a loud crispy punch. Very decent quality, wish it was a bit more polished, feels like naked wood. Guitar does need tuning after every other jam session, not strong enough to hold the strings in place with the tuning. Nice built in tuner and amplifier option. For the price, it is well worth it. How long will the guitar last? Not entirely sure, it's been about a month.

Hello, I'm a 45 year vet of the music, entertainment and production industry. I own, too many guitars to remember at time, as with gear, and all the goodies. I was looking for something inexpensive, but VERY real...something that worked, something that plays, keeps tune, and has a couple features you would be silly not to seek (acoustic/electric AND tuner) in today's gear. Not expecting to find such (I search guitars and gear endlessly it seems), when i plugged in my search parameters this guitar popped up and I felt my temp rise. I thought NO, no way. Now I own 2. SO here's the skinny - I needed something simple, cheap and easy to take to campgrounds, as strolling thing to plug into a tiny belt clip amp. I have acoustic/electrics but honestly, with campfire sparks, hmmmm, not so much. I also have hundreds of electrics, in top end and kids, plus 3/4 and special shapes, etc., etc. But the thing is, I ALWAYS, always build in back-ups - ways to continue if something in one area fails, and having a small clip amp go out (yes i would have a second) does not presume a guitar won't break, so having acoustic ability made sense for both audible, venue, and backup ideas. This guitar, is like...wow, and then some. Don't get me wrong...the finish is vulnerable, the wood is very thin, and the electronics, tuner, and mechanics.... are right on the line. But it works, keeps tune, the action can be adjusted, the harmonics are ok, it plays well, looks good and sound good acoustically, and electronically. You have to be careful with it, and on both units I bought, the 1/4" guitar jack was lose, one already losing the nut and falling inside, requiring removing the strings and putting back together. But, if you're looking for a REAL guitar, for something like throw away use, or a youngster - wow. I think the only thing I would caution is its durability and strength - kids are hard on stuff (I know I do thousands of kids on stage each year). All that said, I kinda fell in love with them, and find myself more defensive for their protection thinking, hmmm, do I really want to use them for why I bought them. But honestly, in it’s class, this is a CRAZY good item and an exceptional buy!

This guitar might be the best valued guitar I’ve ever seen. This is a guitar for a beginner, but it also a real guitar with everything a real musician will require from their axe. Played really good fresh out of the box. Came with a very durable-looking gig-bag, a good strap, a cable, picks, a capo, an extra set of strings. Comes equiped with an acoustic/electric pickup, and a preamp that has a built in tuner. I would recommend to anyone who has a young one interested in guitar. So many times people buy either the cheapest crap they find (resulting in an instrument that is no fun to play), or go way overboard spending hundreds on an instrument that may or nay not ever get played. Get this. It’s a reall guitar and it’s at a really good price. Thanks Dan from Guns and Guitars!

Read the other reviews, decided to buy this for a travel guitar. Haven't taken it aboard a flight yet, but looks like it will fit. I am amazed at the quality...responsiveness...ease of playing...sound quality (plugged in, unplugged). The included accessories are great. I broke the 1st string on initial tuning...but there was an extra set of strings included. Fingerboard isn't hard to get used to, but I have large palms and small fingers. Would be great for a first guitar...or a travel guitar around a campfire or just a jam with friends. Again...I think it's worth the price and I would recommend it.
