I use this little bluetooth adapter in my car so I can play songs from my iphone. It works very well, pairing easily when I turn it on. I also use it to play music through a small amplifier for different functions, and it really has a great sound and the reception range is pretty good at 40 to 50 feet. The battery life is good and lasts for a few days for my needs, it hasn't run out out of power but I charge it after about 4 to 5 days.

Okay, here is a for real review. I have had a headphones and charging stand for the last 12 years that my now ex-husband set up with my t.v. so I could watch when I wanted to with no room sound. That headphone finally gave up the ghost and would no longer charge so I decided to buy this item. I will say that at first, I was really upset that the user manual provided NO instructions whatsoever on how to hook up the various cables that come with this. I'm absolutely not a technology whiz and nothing is self explanatory for me. However, after reading every other review and finding no instructions from anyone on set up, I decided to attempt to do it myself and started pulling out cables. First I charged up the transmitter. Then I unplugged the existing device which had a female and male cable and I plugged in the TaoTronics cables in the exact same spot. I figured out that I had to pair my bluetooth headphones with the transmitter and, wow, everything worked. I used it last night for a movie and it was absolutely perfect. My only recommendation to the seller is PLEASE, provide more detailed instructions for those of us that are technologically challenged.

I know….a Bluetooth receiver is just a Bluetooth receiver. How could they possibly improve on a simple receiver? Well, for one they can have the battery last for a REALLY long time. Pair that up with extremely low latency, a bunch of adapter cables, a great looking device and simple controls and you have a solid performer. I also like using it in my car since I don’t have BT there, I can just hook it up and let it play without having to recharge it for almost a week.

I'm a graduate student, so I'm constantly bringing my laptop between my office on campus and my apartment. I have to connect and disconnect various cables each time I move it including audio to my speakers at home. This fixes that issue, as I simply leave this connected to the speakers. When I get home, I set Bluetooth to connect to this audio receiver and voila! Audio connection without the fuss of the 3.5mm jack. This thing is also small and USB powered, so I can easily tuck it away beneath my desk.

TaoTronics once again does not disappoint. I have not used a Bluetooth receiver, but this is the real deal. The TaoTronics Bluetooth wireless receiver model #TT-BR010 came packaged in a durable yet simple box with usb and av adapter cables included. The transmitter itself is attractive and pretty compact. I mainly use it on my laptop computer to achieve wireless headphones. This is convenient at my work as when I move the computer or shut the lid I don't have any wires in the way. Setup was simple. I opened the Bluetooth device settings on my computer, pushed the button on the receiver which put it in "find" mode, computer immediately found it, pushed connect on computer, and it was working.. in seconds! The sound is good. Also, the battery is said to have a 55 hour life. It is still going strong. Next project: I am going to try it on my phone. Wireless headphones free to roam about the laundry room when folding clothes and listening to music, and no wires in the way when changing tunes. Thumbs up on this one. It is very much appreciated!

I've wondered for years when a Bluetooth receiver with low cost, ease-of-use, and rock-solid connection would finally appear on the market. There have arguably been devices that could handle the job for home and car use for years, but the TaoTronics TT-BR010 grabbed my attention with the feature set I had been hoping for (and then some). As more and more of our music and audio content shifts to streaming services - and most of that through phones, tablets, and in-home smart devices (like the Amazon Echo), there's a need to get that content reliably into some household speakers or car stereos that may lack BlueTooth connectivity. Yes, you can use a 3.5 mm cord in most instances, but requires an extra step and anchors your device to the speaker. Enter the TT-BR010, which solves this problem quite flawlessly, and at a price point that fluctuates around the $20 mark. There are two things about this device that really stand out to me. First, it is SMALL. Like, surprisingly small. The Amazon photo makes it look about the size of an Apple TV, but it's actually smaller than a credit card (length/width) and would fit in the palm of your hand. Second, it's battery powered, and the battery lasts for a LONG time. TaoTronics claims 55 hours, and while I haven't used the device that long yet, I'm inclined to believe them because I have a pair of their noise-cancelling BT headphones (the OUTSTANDING TT-BH22 set), and the battery in that thing lasts forever. Operation is simple - you pair the TT-BR010 to your phone or audio-producing device by holding the "TT" button in the middle, causing an LED to flash. Upon startup you may need to press the button once to turn it on, and a second time to pair, but it does recall your device. That's really about it. Volume and all other controls are handled through your phone, though the TT button does function as a start/stop button, which is appreciated. It includes two small cables/adapters for use with either 3.5mm or RCA audio cables. I'm using one in a workout room with a 10-year-old Sony bookshelf unit, and plan to move it over to my downstairs TV room to use with a stereo receiver unit from circa 1994 - neither of which obviously have Bluetooth. Works great.

This works exactly as it should. I'm using it to throw sound from a new Samsung LED to wired Bose headphones, plugged into the device. No audio delay. So, movie watching is excellent. News ... anything on TV. It paired the first time with the TV. It's small and charges fast. Excellent. So happy I bought this one.

Just this and set it up on my 1970’s Kenwood amp with same year Cerwin Vega speakers. All I can say is WOW. Simple to do and sounds awesome. Playing Spotify on my iPhone. Just what I wanted. Hope it lasts. Very pleased.

This thing is amazing, was doubting its ability based on the price but it has not been disappointing. Charges quickly, and have had it hooked up for 44 hours this week and it’s still not dead. Came packaged nicely as well. Definitely recommend!

Could of spent tons of money and figured out how to rewire my entire vehicle with it's built in premium system and amp with an aftermarket headunit but instead spend the 20 or so on this, plugged into the aux port and tada. I jump into my truck press the power button and tada bluetooth radio. Worth every penny have never had an issue with it and recommend to anyone that wants a new headunit for bluetooth but wants to save some cash.
