Great product, exactly what I needed!

This is exactly as described. I got one for each entrance to the house. I don't know what all those reviews about unbolting part of it were about. I took it out of the box, put it on the floor, and folded the sides down. Either they changed the way they shipped it or people were just over complicating it. I will say they do wiggle a little bit when I clean my shoes so I gave it 4 out of 5 for sturdiness but I really don't think that will be an issue. They look well built and I expect to use them for a long time. Thank you for such a good product at a great price!!

Meets our needs completely! Highly recommend👍

We have a dachshund that we take out on a leash. He can tell you that means wet grass, leaves, rain or shine, snow, pollen, insects and more. NO we do not put him through the boot scraper, (LOL), he has his own inside mat and towel. We have it outside at our back door to clean our boots and shoes when coming back in side. We did not need to mount it as using the side flaps we hold it in place with the foot we are not cleaning and then switch feet. Not a problem. This scraper/brush is exactly what we need. Works so well we ordered another for a gift, and may get more.

A sturdy seemingly weather resistant item.

A very sturdy product with strong bristles that should last a long time. I mounted the item to an 18" cement paver because I wasn't sure where I wanted it outside of my house. The side wings make it easy to hold the unit steady in use. So far seems to do an excellent job of cleaning clay and mud from boots.

A great product once you get it assembled

This is an excellent product and a great price. I specifically wanted scrapers I did not have to affix as I sometimes need to move them seasonally. This product is exactly right, and good and substantial for the task. HOWEVER, they come packed with the side flanges you step on inverted to the brushes and attached with phillips bolts and nut combination. The machine must have been turned to 11 as I could only loosen one with a screwdriver and then with great difficulty. The remainder took vice grips, attempts with socket wrenches etc and eventually after many long and strenuous attempts I loosened them. Hey manufacturer: ONCE THEY ARE IN THE PACKAGE THEY AREN'T GOING ANYPLACE! I am 70 years old and not feeble and have plenty of tools but this is unreasonable.

Excellent product - exceeds expectations

I bought this product to carry in my camper to prevent tracking in mud and dirt. I just received the product, so haven’t put it to the full test. However, what I can say is this product so far has exceeded my expectations. It’s a very compact design which is what I wanted so it didn’t take up much space when stored. The fold out foot pads eliminates the need to mount to a board and folds away when not needed. It does have the brackets and the mounting hardware if that’s what you’d prefer. It even comes with an extra hand brush for that extra touch. The product appears to be built very sturdy and is easy to use. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you are looking for a portable unit.

good stiff bristles

I previously purchased a couple of the flat style boot scrapers and they were a huge disappointment. Then I saw this style at my friends house and decided to get one too. It is really nice. You can even screw it into the concrete or flooring, or you can hold it in place with one foot while you scrape the other. The bristles are stiff and go high enough up the sides to dislodge any mud etc that is stuck to the sides of the boot or shoe. I will always get this kind from here on out.

It works

Easy enough to unpack and put the wings down. I know others have commented on how hard that was, but the manufacturer must have fixed that problem recently. This is a well built boot cleaner, sitting on the deck outside of my cabin. I wanted something portable, so I could move it where it was most convenient at the time, and this is working very well. I wear a size 12 square-toe insulated work boot and didn't have any trouble fitting my boot in the brushes and cleaning my boots. I would highly recommend.

Works great

Very sturdy product. Our team of technicians get their boots very dirty with thick mud and this scraper is working great to get that mud off and keep it from tracking into the office. As others stated, it is VERY difficult to get the sides turned around and tools and a bit of muscle is definitely going to be needed - however, it is worth the effort as this scraper is handling the constant, daily, multiple people use it is getting.

Portability is a plus!

The product is as was described. Construction is very sturdy. There was no issue with the side flaps being tightly screwed into the product, which was stated in many reviews. That aspect of the packaging must have been eliminated. It does come with screws to attach to the porch. However, we like keeping it portable. We place it by one of the barns, the back porch, the front porch, or the garage. While one foot steps on the footplate, the other gets scraped clean. The size of the bristles is just right for men and women. I highly recommend this product.

just the right size

not too big, you clean one foot at a time, the bristle works well for the side of the shoe as well as the undersole. They also include a brush. The product is better than the one purchased at other local fed stores. I would highly recommend it.
