Works Well

I was able to mount my camera outside. It has been out there for a couple months now we have had some hard rain and hot weather and it is still working, A++

Nice cover for cloud cam

This is a good cover for cloud cam. I used it for the front porch which is not completely exposed to the element. This type of use is likely ideal and I would not recommend anyone to use it out in the open. The cover does not get in the way of the 360 tilt/adjust Of the camera angle.

excellent Picture

I have read many reviews on this product. But i have to say am pleased. Here are some Pros. 1. will reconnect to wifi after power loss. 2. Has excellent detection and sound pick up. 3. Easy to install. Cons. 1. Detects all movement even leaves blowing. 2. Detects shadows casted by sun. But over ALL it still gets 5 stars from me.

You need this if you want to use the cloud cam outside.

So far it seems ok. My cloud cam has been outside for about a month now and still working. It was in heavy rain for almost a week and it didn't seem to have any trouble. It does not obscure the lense of the camera much, I can just see a bit of a shadow in the corners, but it is not a big deal. The night vision still works with this cover. This camera isn't really meant to be used outside but the cover does seem to work. I used to use the camera inside, and I noticed that it would get pretty hot so I was worried that a cover might make it overheat, but so far so good. The camera runs 24-7 and hasn't failed yet.

Excellent for attaching the Arlo and makes it usable outside

Unlike others who review this, I found it easy to put together. I had no difficulty setting it up, and the pictures it transmits are every bit as good as those without the rain protection. I like it because it makes my Cloud Cam usable outdoors. We just had some torrential rain and it worked just fine. Not a leak or a problem. Nice.

Great, affordable option for outdoor security camera

We were referred the cloud cam with the weather-proofing covers by a friend, who has been using them outdoors and loving them, and we would agree with this as a perfect option for outdoor security at an extremely affordable price. Other options are double to triple the pricing and require monthly fees; however, that is not the case for this product. Would definitely recommend these in combination with the cloud cam for outside security.

Good rain protection

I put this cover on a cloud cam mounted on the side of a shed with minimal overhand protection. So far its weathered several rain storms and Ice with no affect to the video of the camera. It does reduce your ability to speak through the audio of the camera, i think it covers the speaker and makes it more difficult to hear. I'm considering getting another one for a second outdoor camera.

Versatile and comes as advertised.

Product came as advertised. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Product came with all parts necessary. I like the design and like how the cover fits seamlessly over the cloud cam. I would definately say this is weather resistant but weather proof may be overstatement. There is possibility for water penetration in heavy or driving rains. With that being said I installed under and overhang below the roof so not directly in the open. Nice option for placing the cloud cam outdoors for additional security protection.

Preform very well in open weather.

I have six cloudcams, three are in open souther weather. I have had ON PROBLEMS. We have had a little bad weather this fall. The fences didn't wash away, we did have some camera failures, they restset without my help. I didn't expect Great Things from these cameras an weatherproof gear. They have preformed well above there price point.

Works as advertised

So far so good. Please read the additional note that comes with the package to help aligning the cover Update: had this for over a month now. Works well except for one issue that the picture at night is poor even with outside light.
