I didn't look at all the product pictures before I bought this so you can imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw an armband and a silicon case! Very easy to set up and use. Drag and drop songs on the computer and you're set. Bluetooth setup was easy and intuitive. Took all of 30 seconds and I was jamming. Easy to set up the playlists: just press the menu button while playing any song and choose to add it to one of the 3 default playlists. Sound quality is good and loud with no distortions. I never use included earphones for any device so i am playing this on the Mindbeasts I bought here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C6FHTSH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G3X8SHK/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought this to wear when I do yard work or go running. I've accidentally run it through the washing machine and dryer and the experience didn't affected it at all. It's not perfect sound quality, the interface takes some getting used to, but it has bluetooth, which means my wireless headset works great with it. It has a large drive, so I've stored tons of music on it and it's small enough to not be a burden when it's clipped onto my shirt or even shoved into my pants pocket. Unless you're a snob about music quality, this plays the music just fine and it's durable.

This is my second AGPTEK mp3 player. I still have the one called AGPTEK Rocker, and I really like it, but I wanted one a little smaller for doing outdoor work. This tiny clip player has terrific sound, and is lots easier to wear doing outdoor work. The armband is very comfortable, and the included rubbery cover keeps dust and grass out of the player. I contacted the seller through Amazon Linking Port regarding a problem I had with one of my headsets that wouldn't connect, and they were very prompt in responding and very helpful. Other than that one headset, the connections were quick and easy. I'm impressed with the mp3 player and the customer service.

This player is small and light. Sounds great to me, though I'm not an audiophile. The interface is a little quirky, as others have noted, but it makes sense once you learn it. It has features I really appreciate: You can navigate by folder; listen to the radio; set the sleep timer. It scrolls long track names. I have not tried Bluetooth because clipping it to my clothes works so well. I'm glad I chose this.

I've blown through 2 Sansa Clip+ and a Sansa Fuze because I loved the sound and especially the clip. I've been searching forever for a replacement for them. The Agptek player is no-frills, but it gets the job done as a replacement. The sound is very good (and plenty loud), but I'm using my own Beats headphones, not the one that came with it. It was extremely easy loading my music from my Windows PC onto it. I also love the clip. My bluetooth headphones were recognized and hooked up easily. I haven't put any audiobooks on it yet, so I can't review that aspect. Overall, I'm pleased with the player and glad I found one with a clip!

Overall this MP3 player performs well...seems to compete pretty well with Sansa Clip which I have had a few. The problem with Sansa is that the clip spring ultimately rust off and then the device becomes hard to work with. I don't know if this will be the case with your product or not. Remains to be seen. With volume all the way to 31 the device is not as loud as the Sansa. I tried to set the sound in the equalizer setting but this doesn't seem to change the volume much. Volume is still acceptable though. Updating the firmware seems to be a problem. After following the whole process my Windows 10 machine (Dell) with newest updates will not recognize the device through the firmware update software. I still have not been able to upgrade the firmware for this device. Aside from these issues the device seems to be overall dependable. Performs well while exercising and seems to be pretty durable. Please consider trying to simplify the firmware updating process and maybe implementing some type of sound boosting tech into the product. Thank you for allowing me to review this product.

As an audiobook lover I’ve bought 4 clip on versions of the AGPTEK MP3 Players and 1 of their Nano look a likes in the past month searching for a replacement for my aging Sansa Clip+. They all had their pros (Bluetooth ability) and cons (learning curve). The two that best suit my audiobook listening purposes have independent volume buttons and a dedicated sliding On/Off button. The A26TB has a smaller screen with less detail but much better navigation in Bluetooth and a useable silicone cover while the G05S has a bigger screen with more detail but only Play/Pause ability using Bluetooth and a silicone cap that covers the entire front. I like the sliding on/off buttons because when the player is On I can easily play and pause my book as I listen using the center Play/Pause button. And if I want to set up Auto Resume for later listening all I do is press the center Play/Pause button until a 1 2 3 counter appears – when it hits 3 let off and the unit will shut down but not off. Now pressing the center Play/Pause button (twice if the screen is off - three times if the player is asleep) will restart your book at the same place. If after the player shuts down you slide the control to Off to save power until you’re ready to listen again when you slide it back to On it will restart at the place you paused. There are also 10 dedicated bookmarks available (reminiscent of my old Creative Zen) per MP3 audiobook file. If you want to switch between different audiobooks (or books and music) you’ll need the bookmarking ability. To bookmark the position you want to return to press Menu (the top button with the lines on it) while your audiobook is open, scroll to Bookmarks, Click on Add bookmark, then scroll to one of the numbered spots for each book (or chapter) and press the middle button to add the bookmark to the number chosen; it fills in the hh:mm:ss / Hour:Minutes:Seconds of you current position in the audiobook. Then you'll be taken back to Now Playing. To return to a bookmark open your audiobook, press Menu, scroll to Bookmarks and choose Go To Bookmark this time, then choose the bookmarked time you want to return to. If your audiobook has multiple files or chapters you have to be in the file/chapter you set the bookmark in to see them. Speaking of file order … Track order tags are not read by these players. If the filename does not have a number at the beginning (01, 02, 03, etc.), track order will default to alphabetical order which can make your audiobook listening a disaster – so make sure to number your files or better yet join them all together into one long audiobook file for ease of playing and bookmarking. The Pros compared to the Sansa Clip+ are better/louder volume, Bluetooth, Play by Folder and the drill down folder ability ie: Audiobook folder inside of which I put Individual Author Folders inside of which I put Series Folders inside of which I put each Title in a series. To wrap it up on the audiobook front none of the AGPTEK players are as intuitive or easy to use as the Sansa Clip+ but with a little effort learning to navigate the menu they offer everything an audiobook listener could want IMO. Just use trial and error (pushing all the options multiple times to see what happens) until you become fluid with the system. The only question left for my new AGPTEK players is their longevity but at under $30.00 I don’t feel I’m risking much with these slick little players. In case the AGPTEK developers are curious (and want to emulate!) why so many consider the Sansa Clip+ the ultimate audiobook player here are the basic reasons. There is a default Audiobook folder that #1 keeps any file placed within it out of the Music shuffle. And #2 (most importantly) the Audiobook folder automatically provides auto resume to every audiobook placed within the folder. Actually any file (audiobook, podcast or music) placed within the Audiobook folder will auto resume where it left off … every time you click on a book/file you’ve previously listened to within the Audiobook folder you are given 2 options: “Resume” or “Start from Beginning” – so easy! #3 is the Sansa Clip+s compatibility with Audible DRM books - but that IMO is an Audible/Amazon issue in thinking everyone wants to listen to audiobooks on a phone or tablet thus not keeping up/providing the ability for the new generation of dedicated MP3 players to play their DRM books. Again IMO … not being compatible with the new MP3 players is shortsighted on Audible/Amazons part as it encourages development of the various software now available to convert Audible books to MP3 files so they can be listened to on these new players.

I was not looking for a "high quality/$$$$" MP3 player since its only used 3 days week during gym workouts. My previous 2 MP3 players were similar sized/quality Sandisk players that lasted several years prior to battery death. I purchased a 3rd Sandisk recently but returned it as I was very disappointed in the new one's quality. So far, the AGPTEK appears to be what Sandisk use to be! It is well made, has a strong "clip" and has great sound for its price! Actually, I like this player's on/off "slide button" over Sandisk top "push on/off" button. I also like the larger volume button and actually think that the AGPTEK has much better sound than the Sandisk.

I really like this player. The small size with a clip makes it perfect for working out or running. Unlike most others in the same size and price range, this one has a readout of songs, artists, and playlists. It also has a clock display. Its buttons and playback is simple and easy, and its sound is very good. Its maximum volume of 31 could be a few notches higher (if you're running alongside highway construction), but I found it more than adequate. Haven't tried the bluetooth function yet, nor have I maxed out the battery life. But a full charge lasts at least 6 hrs, and that's a minimum. One minor complaint: the extra protective case is missing holes for the power button and charging input. But I easily made holes myself. I also expected the earphones to be cheap which they feel like they are (I never used them)

I typically run in races with headphones and was really bummed when my iPod no longer worked. I bought a refurbished iPod shuffle to replace it and had to return it when it did not work before running in a recent race. When I got home I researched various MP3 devices and was happy to find this one. I had to convert music via the iTunes site from the Apple format to MP3 but this was relatively easy. I thought pairing the device with my wireless headphones would be tricky but this was pretty straightforward and since the initial pairing has worked every time. The player is really light and easy to carry around. I even enjoy using the radio function when I am at sporting events. Overall a great buy for its price and for its utility.
