To be honest , I wasn't expecting much, but it had a partial charge right out of the box, and it didn't take long at all for it to be doing all kinds of actions that just tickled the heck out of everybody!! My 9-year-old grandson, especially, was quite taken with it. So a very cute toy that was exactly as described and did not disappoint - well done!

I bought the robot for my 9 y.o. grandson and he really likes it. We laughed at some of the songs but all in all it's really a good toy. I would highly recommend the purchase. The voice on the robot is cool and when you leave him alone he asks you to come play, which helps the kids not to just leave it on.

I've found most of the reviews here very accurate. You will need a phone/tablet USB style charger or PC/MAC USB port to plug in this robot's (included) USB charging cord. I'm glad they didn't give me another (I have a box full already). The volume control on the wireless remote is GREAT. Cute little robot is fun and works great, nice lights and dancing features. What a cool toy for the money. He's taken a few hits from playing with my 2 and 4 year olds and is still going strong.

I bought this robot on a whim for my 4 year old & let me tell you I’m SO GLAD I did. My son loves this robot!! He’s only had it a few days but he is very big on robots right now. My older nephew & my teenage daughter think his robot is cool too. The remote on this robot is impressive. You won’t regret buying this robot. I’m glad I bought it for my son. I have been thinking of buying another one for the “just in case” moments in life. Lol

This thing is really cool, but very "Asian". What I mean is that the functions are kind of weird and the English of the functions and instructions leaves something to be desired. However, the actual capabilities of the robot are pretty sweet for 30 bucks. So far, the only issues I've noticed is that the USB connector of the charger was really loose and the hand gestures are not incredible. But again, this is a cheap robot with minimal packaging and it's a little rough around the edges, and this makes it awesome. If your expectations are in the right place, you should really enjoy this robot. Technology is getting incredible and this is a cheap way to introduce your child.... Or yourself, if you're like me and you put batteries in and learned how to use it before gifting it

I bought this robot for my 5 year old grandson. We were all amazed at the things it does for the price. It's well designed, sturdy and a fun toy that doesn't get boring after 5 minutes of play. A few things I wasn't aware of about the toy are the science and good habits buttons on the remote (needs two AAA batteries) which have the robot tell the child facts about the solar system and good habits for life. When you turn the robot on he goes through a series of actions and if no one plays with him, after 30 seconds he says "Why is everyone ignoring me? This is lame." In 30 more seconds he says "system shutting down" or something on that order. I'd probably change the "lame" comment if I were programming the robot. I'm not sure if that's something that can be turned off in programming but it seems a little angsty and not something you really want to teach a 5 year old. The sensor that makes the robot go forward and backward with hand gestures works well and the robot responds pretty quickly. There is no plug for the USB charger for the robot, so if no one in the house has a USB power source, it might be a good idea to purchase one with the toy as well as 2 AAA batteries for the remote. It's a good deal and I would buy this again and probably will if the price doesn't keep on going up.

This was a present for my 5 year old on his birthday. The robot worked as specified right out of the box. It is easy to use and fun. It has a volune control, which I like, since many of this electronic come with loud settings. The on and off button is easy to find and use. It is a button and not answitch with works great for little hands. He has enjoy it and play with it every day since receiving it. It was shipped fast , well packed and in an unmarked box with helps when its a gift.

I bought this for my kids and was skeptical at first. However, my kids love the robot and can't just help playing with the robot everyday. It's a different toy that's not monotonous - there's a learning, dancing, etc. experience and more importantly, unlike other robots for this price, this robot reacts to hand movements... sort of artificial intelligence but a good start for kids with lots of things changing around. It's a great value for the price - I would have thought this would be an expensive toy. The only thing I miss is the ability to control the robot through an app - but am sure that would only increase the price - can't have best of both worlds!!!!

First of all, this robot is great. It walks, it talks, dances and sings. My 2 and 5 year old boys love it. But the best is the customer service. The robot doesn't take batteries, it charges with a USB cable. Well, my boys lost the charger and were super upset. I contacted the seller and asked if I could purchase another one. Instead they sent me one free of charge in a week. They were so happy when the charger arrived today 😊
