I absolutely adore this lamp! It gives me more space to put my things next to my bed and it looks very modern and classy. The ports are very convenient since I can use them to charge my phone and power my Echo Dot as well as my Onyx speaker. I love love love this lamp and I replaced the bulb with a TP Link smart bulb and connected it to Alexa. The shade gives the colors a beautiful mood setting or you can crank it up on the Kasa app to use this as your sole light source which has saved me tons of money on electricity since my ceiling lights are very wasteful. Well if this isn't the most perfect next to your bed lamp than I don't know what is! It has three shelves that work out to be nice spacing between one another as well as a top one that functions as an iPad tablet holder and charging area. It fits my portable speaker great and like I said you could charge your vibrators and other little things that need to be next to the bed :-) I personally would not recommend plugging in the hitachi wand to this lamp as it would definitely be too much high voltage for that low watt running plug, it will blow out the fuse for sure! The bottom shelf really is hard to find things to put on it I recommend just doing it like the picture and finding a vase that's what I ended up having to do. As for putting it together it is a bit of a hassle I had to undo pieces and put it back together. I also wasn't pleased with how the canvas top of the lamp doesn't super connect well but it's nothing that's hindering his overall appearance or use. It took me about a casual hour while chatting on face time and not even really reading the directions just figuring it out as I went to put together. If I followed the directions I'm sure it would have taken less than 45 minutes with no mistakes. i'm giving it a five star because this is something I wanted for many months and it is exactly like how I had hoped. It's even cooler in person and was kind of rewarding to put it together myself. I would like to see how the white holds up over a year if the color remains the same or not perhaps I will post a follow up then. As for now I've had it for a couple weeks and I'm extremely happy.

I needed a small table and lamp for my office. The problem with small tables is that the lamp placed on them usually takes up all the surface space. This shelf lamp is a great solution. There is a shelf with usb ports for charging electronics as well as two others for small items (keys, wallets, etc). It takes up very little space, but is quite useful. I placed it in a corner because it is very light weight and could easily be accidentally knocked over. I am very happy with my purchase. I've only had it a short time, so can't speak for it's longevity. However, it wasn't expensive, so, if I only get a few years use out of it; it's still a good purchase. mama r

I wasn't exactly sure about this product when I ordered it, but I liked the concept so much that I had to give it a go. And I'm glad that I did! This lap-shelf-charging station is fantastic. When it arrives, it comes disassembled. You only need a screwdriver to put it together, so it's pretty simple in that regard, and the instructions make sense. Another reviewer complained that the materials felt cheap and even came apart when assembling. I'm not sure what sort of force they were using to screw the "legs" down, because I never had even the glimmer of a problem. If I have a complaint, it's that the assembly of the third level is a bit awkward and the lamp shade was slightly puzzling. But it's easy enough to deal with. It's a very nice-looking lamp. Everyone who sees mine comments about how much they like it. The USBs and two-prong power port work just fine. It's become my headset and Chromebook charging station, in addition to having a decent amount of storage space on it. It did have a tiny bit of a wobble issue on my carpet, but putting heavy objects on the bottom level solved that. Overall I'm really satisfied with this lamp. It solved a light problem and filled a niche in my life I wasn't even aware was lacking.

These have been a very affordable option for me and my husband. We needed two bed side tables to do on either side of our bed with lamps. Our problem is that we have only one outlet in the bedroom at the other end of the room so these are perfect as they have charging stations, lamps and platforms to store things. The white also brightens up the bedroom nicely. They are lightweight and easy to put together. The only issue with them is that they are firm on our hardwood floor but they may be slightly wobbly on carpet.

Strangely enough, this item was shipped and delivered in its actual box, instead of being inside an Amazon one, which resulted in the box looking a bit like it's about to fall apart. Thankfully, none of the parts went missing nor damaged. The installation steps looks a bit confusing at first, but if you look at them more carefully, apply some common sense, and make sure to lay out the parts to make sure they're complete, everything will look easy. Just took me a little less than an hour to complete it. And it was pretty lightweight if you need to move it around. Also, as seen in the pictures, I made comparisons to how bright the bedroom is with the nightstand. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and would get it again if necessary!

This is a great looking lamp because of its simple design and useful size. Its construction seems solid, the shelves are great for light books, knickknacks, or picture frames, and the chargers are a great benefit. The shade itself is very sturdy and the lamp is very easy to assemble. The plastic clips that help tuck the power cord away make for a neat looking product overall. While the product's price seems a bit inflated (you're paying more for the design, white color, and chargers), it is still a good value when considering it's being shipped to you in two days. It should also be noted that because of the thickness of the lamp shade (a good thing in general), you need to use a brighter/more powerful bulb if you intend on using it for reading, computing, etc. A 60W equivalent (13 or 14W) CFL is way too dim. Even a 100W equivalent (23W) seemed dim in this lamp. You must keep in mind that this lamp is intended for mood/atmospheric lighting and the shade will diffuse the light. Those that have mentioned using color changing LEDs have the right idea in mind. Those looking to use this for reading may need to use halogen bulbs or something very bright (within the wattage rating for the lamp).

So most of it is made of wood. The only plastic part is the top shelf where the plug in and usb ports are located. The usb ports are slower charging, but if you're using it for overnight charging, that's not a big issue. It's sturdy enough. It's been stable on the carpeted floor, but it could be easy to tip over if you hit it. I just solved the problem by putting a couple of heavy text books on the bottom shelf. I love that it has the charging shelf - that helps clean up the mess of charging my tablet and phone while still needing to plug in a lamp and electric blanket. Now my kids want one in each of their rooms, so I'll be buying two more in a few weeks.

It's a nicely made inexpensive very light unit suitable for areas where there are no wagging dog tails. It works perfectly next to a sofa. One assumes if one uses a brighter light, it will be brighter so control of lighting is a function of the light bulb, not the lamp (re: overall ratings areas). It's a nice, unobtrusive side lamp where you could read, but you should up the light bulb strength quite a bit if that is the use case, from a typical light bulb to put next to a sofa because the lamp is designed to muffle and provide discrete lighting. The USBs are at exactly the right location to put telephony devices with a set of partitions so you can see each of them when they ring reasonably easy by raising one's head and looking over, to see who is calling, from multiple phones and tablets at one time. The cord can be wrapped discretely behind it. You can cover the lamp shade sides with another fabric if you think the existing fabric is too cheezy and the fabric is far enough from the bulb that as long as you're sensible about it, the fabric won't receive a lot of heat. And you use fabric somewhat resilient to heat. You can crimp it on and make your own look easily. The table has yet to fall over even with its use to recharge multiple phones and tablets and with 3 large, high energy dogs with happy tails running around it all the time. That said, it's easy to topple it --- it just was made well balanced so it's not prone to it unlike a lot of like tables and lamps would be. It has not fallen over ONCE. Now that I'm thinking about it, that is a bit of a miracle, so a good piece to add to your room if you want a durable, useful, discrete, reliable, inexpensive light/table.

I am happy with my new floor lamp and charging station. Easily holds my phone and iPad and now I always remember where they are charging. Also a good place on another shelf for my weather station. Since I really didn't need the extra lighting in my house, I replaced the included LED bulb with my own LED flicker flame bulb, which really makes the lamp shade look like a candle lantern...just my personal preference. Putting it together took about 20 minutes and was easy, a bit like building a puzzle with the various size posts. I actually had to order twice because Amazon (not Brightech) "lost or damaged my order in transit"; I was refunded within 24 hours and had a new one on the way the next day. All's well that ends well.
