• Effortless control: activate your sprinkler via Siri, the app, or onboard button
  • Auto shut-off: never watch the clock or flood your garden again
  • Schedules: set to water automatically at specific times
  • Estimated consumption: track water usage
  • Child Lock: prevent unwanted watering

Initial impressions: easy setup, solid build, works effectively It was quick out of the box to setup. The battery cover a little awkward but hopefully it keeps things dry. The valve hardly reduces water pressure unlike most other valves I’ve tried. Homekit support is limited, and the Eve app isn’t the most user-friendly or intuitive. Either way, I was able to setup a daily schedule. Weather input would be helpful, followed by deeper Homekit integration. For a market first product (Gen 1) it is great.

Easy setup. Does what I want it to do when watering my yard after overseeding. Does well with a schedule as well. I have not had any issues with distance to an AppleTV. Highly recommend to others!

Eve Aqua is so easy, my 5 year old can use it. Seriously, the picture is my 5 year old saying, “Siri, turn on water.” And it works! Utilizing the Apple HomeKit technology, you can set up scenes, activate with your voice, and even set timers. I’ve only been using it for a short time, but it also monitors your useage. I can see how this will save us money in the long run and easily pay for itself. I have several Eve products, but this is by far my favorite one. Great work! Highly recommend!!

My husband, who does all our yard work, recently broke his foot. His yard is his baby so he needed a way to water it. The eve aqua was a lifesaver. My husband was able to control watering the grass with his phone and loved that he was able to track the usage. We originally bought it to use while my husbands foot heal but have now decided to leave it on. We love it and rave about it all the time. The Setup and application were also both easy to use. I also recommend it for people that go out of town.

Update 6/3/2019: still using and loving the ease of the EVe Aqua. I am having a few connectivity issues and having to manually push the button to get the water started but this is a minor inconvenience compared to all the ease in given. So overall still loving my Aqua!!!! I am thoroughly enjoying using the eve Aqua! It’s a great addition to my up and coming smart home and helps to keep my garden watered even when i can’t manage to get outside. Set up was super easy especially with the home kit scan code I was connected and ready to control the system within minutes. I like that I can set a timer for the water to run. It’s only been about a full week but so far so good no down falls for me.

While on a trip out of state I was concerned that my garden was going to suffer. This saved my garden and made it easy to get it watered while we were gone. I was able to check the weather, set my sprinkler to water when I wanted. I was so happy to come home to see my garden thriving. The app was so easy to install. This was easy to use and control. It could not have been any easier to install, install the batteries, remove the hose install on the spout, and add the hose. That was it. It was all so easy. I have a product that will keep my garden watered when not home and not have to worry about my plants dying.

We needed something to water our raised bed and Eve does the trick. The functionality of using the Home App was great then I realized you can use the Eve app for even more depth. We now have scheduled a routine of watering the plants with ever thinking about it. If it's raining we can just say "hey Siri...Stop watering the tomatoes" and done. The setup was so easy I thought I had done something wrong because there was no way that could be all that was needed to get started. But it was. I was in the house and near the router to get it all set up and then took it outside to the spigot and never have had an issue with the connectivity or functionality. The casing was a little cumbersome to get open but I guess if you want water proof and durability you have to be creative in the design. I admit I had never heard of Eve products and was skeptical but we are very pleased with the results.

Eve Aqua makes it very easy for me to water my garden with just the right amount of water. I can use a timer to set the time to turn on and off. Or, I can specify the duration if I turn it on from my iPhone (at home or remotely via AppleTV) or Siri. I will never waste water again. It was a simple process for me to register Eve Aqua with my iPhone. I opened Eve app, clicked "add accessory", and followed the simple steps including scanning the code on the unit. Eve Aqua requires 2 AA batteries, and they are included in the box. Eve Aqua fits our faucet perfectly. The included washer assures a tight fit with no leaking. It's a perfect and useful gadget to keep the garden green without wasting water.

Does what it says. Easy to set up and doesn’t leak. It’s true there are possibly range connectivity issues depending on your setup. The Eve Aqua connects via Bluetooth rather than WiFi, but there’s a reason for that. WiFi uses considerably more power than Bluetooth. A device like this could either be powered by batteries or be plugged into an outlet. As an outside device also connected to pipes and water, they’ve made the right decision to power it with batteries. Since it’s powered by batteries, the decision to use low-power Bluetooth connectivity is the choice that means batteries won’t require frequent replacement. The downside of that choice is that Bluetooth generally requires shorter distances to make a good connection. So this will work well if it’s located within a reasonable distance from an Apple TV or HomePod inside the house. If not, you’ll need to carry your iPhone or iPad closer to it to change its programming or activate it directly.

This thing is great. I am in the process of reseeding my yard, which involves a lot of watering. And it has to happen whether I'm home or not. The Eve Aqua is just what I needed to automatically turn on the sprinklers, but unlike basic timers it lets me control it remotely. So if it's raining, for example, I can easily disable it or change the schedule. It's nicely made and seems well sealed against the elements, so I have no qualms about it being outside. Setup was simple with the Eve app, and I can also control it with the Home app on my phone. Here's a photo of my (future) grass, which I'm confident will make it thanks to the Eve controller. ;-)
