Awesome
The only USB hub which does not cause issues with my X1 Carbon. Lesson learned - always go OEM

Good build quality, nice cable length
I also have the Sabrent hub with individual power switches, which works just fine, but this Lenovo hub has a much better build quality, a longer cable length, and I like not having buttons to accidentally turn off.

Great Service & Features If Your Devices Are Right For This
Lenovo is a good brand, and this Seller/Mfr Customer Service is very motivated & responsive. Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) swiftly refunded when carrier received defective return via prepaid shipping label I chose as refund credit to my Amazon account so no creditcard refund wait & follow-up checking, but then I was very glad when Seller unsolicited offered me a no-charge replacement to try and I'm very happy to report works fine as I like features not easily found all in one from other brands: Many 5-star reviews here for this niche market design featuring rare 19" sturdy but not too thick USB cable (lenth measurement includes cable plug) long enough for desktop but not too long to clutter, and unusually also fits snugly in USB port, not loose/wobbly like most plugs; and this self ("bus")-powered USB hub is not only small, thin, lightweight plastic but also flat with side ports allowing cables to lie flat on tabletop, not stick up obtrusively. Instructions here and on paperwork helpfully guide when purchasing any hub to calculate electric current capacity of our device's USB ports, and the power demands of the peripheral devices we would plug into the hub. This hub cannot exceed combined total demand of 900mA (Milli Amperes) total, or risk slowness or disconnect. Device 2.0 (white) ports are limited to 500mA total. If want to upgrade device 2.0 port to 3.0, ask manufacturer if 3.0 USB port card can be added, such as a Windows 7 Express Card. This hub limits 3.0 (blue) port to 900mA total even if port lightning bolt icon indicates higher capacity. Peripheral devices, packaging, websites, and telephone Tech Support can help learn peripheral device power needs. I found: 1) Mice average 100mA (bottom of mouse should say. Unplug so not look at vision-risking laser light!) 2) Keyboard when a key is lit may need up to 100mA or 500mA (bottom of keyboard should say) 3) Cyberacoustic Laptop Clip-On Speaker #CA-2880 accepts port limit (though performs best at 1000mA, which I consider unnecessary, keeping mine at its mfr recommended 75% Computer Volume Setting) in my USB 2.0 port 500mA limit. 4) Linksys (Belkin) USB Network Adapter #AE6000 for 5Ghz internet broadband speed (faster than my Windows 7 built-in 2.4Ghz Network Adapter) needs up to 100mA 5) Thumb/Flash Drive/Portable Disk 2.0 may need up to 500mA for file-sharing data transfer speed 480; a 3.0 thumb drive may need up to 900mA to transfer at 5Gbp speed. 6) Canon mp495 Printer/Copier/Scanner wall plug means USB port/hub/cable needs little power to communicate with computer (I don't use wireless config); but my old Canon communicates erratically with my device directly and almost not all through various hub brands. 7) Though this hub's 4 ports are standard USB, the description here says this hub can charge phone during data transfer but the Seller says "very slowly." For battery, port, and hub life; hub stability/speed; and fire safety, I like many others prefer wall charging devices whenever possible. - Computer should have some USB overcurrent protection. This hub does not say if hub has overcurrent protection as some hubs do. You could check your peripherals to see if they all have built-in overcurrent protection if the total they might draw at their maximum use might exceed your 2.0 port's 500mA total, or your 3.0 port and this hub's 900mA total. - Hub backward compat with older, smaller capacity flash drives; and compatible with Windows/Mac/Linux O/S. - Easy plug & play--no drivers, CDs, etc. - Quality small gray suede drawstring bag for portability of hub with permanently attached USB cable. - No toxic odors. Made in China. - Inexpensive Square Trade (backed by AllState Insurance) Protection Plan kicks in if needed after mfr warranty after Fulfilled By Amazon FBA and Seller's great Customer Service. That's a lotta protection you got there! ;)

Great USB hub
Very nice portable USB hub. I use it daily. I will purchase again.

Does what it's supposed to do!
The cord is pretty sturdy and the case with the ports is actually a lot better put together than I had imagined. It won't withstand too much crushing weight, but let's face it, if you're smashing on it, you're using it wrong. I was pushing on it fairly firmly when I was mounting it to my desk with double sided tape (please note: it's just the hub you're getting, with no extras) and it was fine. The actual USB plugs are nice and tight, like they should be--no loose wiggling when something is plugged in and not so tight that you have trouble disconnecting what you've plugged in. I got it to expand the number of ports on my computer for flash drives and mounted it to the underside of my desk with double sided 3M tape. I was worried that the weight of the drives and the hub itself would be too much for the tape, but it works just fine. I guess that's more of a review of the tape I used than the hub itself, but it gives you an idea of the weight of the hub. It really doesn't weigh very much. I don't have any 3.0 hardware on my computer, so I can't speak to the transfer speeds, but it does just fine with 2.0. I also can't offer an opinion on how it does with other USB devices, since that's not what I'm using it for, but there is a user manual that I've included a photo of that shows the limits of the hub. That's probably useful to someone. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and it had no problems finding it and automatically making it work. What you see is what you get, and since I didn't want any bells or whistles, I'm very pleased. Shipping was very fast.

very happy with selecting this USB hub, brands stands behind it's performance
Product comes well packaged and comes with a suede-like storage bag with lace closure for transporting. The storage bag also have an additional sleeve inside for the USB wire so it doesn't get damaged. I use it for the Fire TV box and I have connected a wireless transmitter and thumb drive to it simultaneously and no problems. Worth the price especially since it is a brand name product

Great Quality
I don’t ever write reviews but I buy from Amazon every single day almost. I was really impressed by how this was packaged in the feel of the build. It feels like it is a solid device rather than a rickety piece of plastic housing the USB ports. It comes with about an 18 inch cable attached. It comes boxed in the manufacturers box and inside it comes with a nice heavy duty pouch. Very good value and very impressed.
