Are you sure you don't want more money Sega? đ¤ˇâī¸
Really this feels like a full $60. experience! I rented it on Gamefly and kept it for $30. the graphics look great the framerate is stable and I prefer the gameplay over Mario kart(Still a fantastic game.) Yes it's not 60fps like the PS4 and Xbox but even the ps4 pro struggles to maintain 60fps. A locked 30fps for the Switch is amazing! It looks great portable and docked! In transformed I probably used 4 racers so the roster doesn't bother me as far as numbers go. Just wish I could use bd joe and such but it's limited to Sonic characters. Been playing the single player mostly do far so haven't gotten to multiplayer yet. The resolution seems stable. No blurry graphics. I like this more than transformed. I didn't like the flying in transformed. It was too clunky. I liked the flipping which is still here. I don't know what it is about these games but I just like them more than Mario kart games. Plus it's cheaper. Seriously Sega I will give you more money for this game! âšī¸

Fantastic!
This game is a ton of fun! It's easy to pick up and play and the team mechanic works well, giving the game a great amount of depth. Its only problems are its small character roster and a sparse amount of content. Highly recommended!

Fun Racer for Sonic All-Star and Mario Kart Fans Alike.
Pros: - Fan favorite Sonic characters - Tight precise controls - Fun courses - Online racing - Both Team and Individual modes available - Customizable vehicle parts Cons: - 30 fps - Missing intro cinematic I want to start by saying I am a avid player of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I love Mario Kart, and it's mechanics. I have also been a big fan of previous entries in this series, the Sonic All-Star Racing titles. In my opinion this games is the best combination of both of those series. With a fun added team mechanic Let's start with the team mechanic. I personally find it very fun. You win by having the highest aggregated score as a team. You can draft one another to slingshot ahead of your competition. You can trade items to help teammates out. You also have a team special (replacing the all-star move) that gives you all incredible speed. As well as a team focused story mode that has missions similar to previous entries in the series. As in Transformed, you are given a variety of objectives, while moving around a map unlocking more challenges and additional maps. If you are more of an individual cart racing fan, there is an option for individual races in grand prix, time trial, online, or local modes. All in addition to the regular team mode variant. Letting you choose your preferred style of play in all except the story portion. Lastly the controls are very tight and concise. The Mario Kart and Sonic racing series have been innovating and borrowing mechanics from one another for the past few entries. All your favorite mechanics are here. Drifting, tricks, drafting, boosting, items, and more. The only thing missing from the last few games is the transitioning carts to water and air modes. As well as the transitioning, dynamic stages. While this is a little bit of a bummer at first, I honestly prefer the consistency of the courses. There are two negatives that I don't care for in the switch version. The game is locked at 30fps, which isn't awful. Though if Mario Kart can run at 60fps, this should be able to as well. Also the intro cinematic was cut so the game would fit on the game card. The PS4 and Xbox One counterparts run at 60 fps and have the intro. While these don't take anything major away from the experience, they would have been nice. Though it's still a great game on switch.

A fun and refreshing take on the go Kart genre
Controls are taking a bit of getting used to but the gameplay is solid and fun. Don't compare this to Mario Kart it's much more refreshing and at this point MK is a bit dated. Love both games though and I'm glad I picked this one up. Has slight rpg elements that allow you to upgrade your rides. Fun!
