I have a station with three remotes but I always had to wait for the right channel to show up. I had looked around for something better and found this model. The brightness of the display is good to read by daytime and night time. I hung it in a central location of my house and so can see it while passing by. I will buy #2 for my lower level office.

I've owned several weather stations of different brands, but this AcuRite is the best I've had. It's reasonably priced, looks great, easy to read, takes up little room, and is quite accurate. It never seems to lose communication with its remote sensor like other brands do so often. And its radio controlled clock and easy setup are just more pluses. You will not be disappointed with this unit.

I received this an Accurite as a gift last Christmas and sold my home recently forgetting my Accurite behind . I immediately mentioned to my sister who made sure that this Christmas I received another one. Not the exact one I had before , they did not make that anymore, but an even better version . Cooler displays ,colorful , and accurate.

I like my Acurite 01121M Wireless Color Weather Station (dark theme) and think that it is a great value for the price. For many years I had an Acurite wireless indoor-outdoor thermometer. Although it only recorded the date, atomic time and the temperature with highs and lows both indoors and out, it worked well. Wanting to know more weather information including the relative humidity in my Florida location, I upgraded to the Acurite 01121M. I found the new Weather Station is easy to set up, and I now can see not only the outside temperature and temperature extremes, but also the dew point, relative humidity, barometric pressure, the atomic time plus a weather forecast. Even on the lowest display brightness, the Weather Station is easy to see. Perhaps I am too easily satisfied, but I heartily would recommend this weather station.

Although it was much larger than I thought it would be (no one really reads the dimensions, do they?), it was much easier for me to read from where I placed it. It has everything I wanted in a weather center besides just the temperature! So I love it and want to keep it forever, lol!

display is fairly easy to read, although it takes a bit of effort to figure out which reading is which. can't tell yet if it seem to offer accurate readings. it's a bit of a drawback that it has to be plugged into a wall outlet, which limits where i place it. but the color display draws a bit of power, so batteries either won't have enuf oomph or wear out super fast. batteries only provide backup for power outage and won't show much in the display.

I've had several weather stations over the years. The acurite outside sensor always fails. I now have three inside units connected to the same outside... the good news is accurate use the same signal on their products. This one is extremely nice showing a lot more information.. A lot of people have formatted how nice it looks...

Not always accurate on the forecast but the temp and humidity.. barometric pressure and moon cycle are always correct. It helps me maintain moisture more accurately in my house and for the first time ever.. I didn't get sick in the winter. If it ever stops working, I will be replacing. Don't know how we lived without this gadget.

I have this sitting at my computer and I love it. The only problem I have with it is that sitting up on the 1st shelf, just above the monitor, it's a little hard to read and the display back lighting doesn't show well at this angle. I highly recommend this product.

This is my third AcuRite weather station and they all are great. When you read all the negative reviews, and you have an Acurite that has been successfully set up, it begs the question, What are they doing wrong? If I had to hazard a guess, I would say many do not read the manual and many think this simple but nice backyard weather station should be just like The Weather Channel. It's Not! Read the manual, wait the prescribed days for the station to sample the local conditions (33 days) and enjoy knowing what the temperature, humidity, barometer reading is outside your door. The forecasts are approximations and not satellite science. How many times have the weather forecast on your local TV station been wrong? If you keep your expectations low, you will not be disappointed. After all, this device costs less than $30.00.
