Works Great! Very Handy for Desk!

First, I already had experience and a comfort level with Anker. I've always known their products to be solid and reputable. So when I got the new iPhone Xs Max I got tired, when sitting at my desk, of grabbing the lighting cable and plug it in and lay the phone down on the desk somewhere . . . such a first world issue! Anyhoo, this charger works as I'd hoped. I sit, I plop the phone on the charger and it's not only charging but the phone screen is visible and accessible for phone calls and looking up things and whatever. It's easy to grab and walk away and then just plop it back when I sit down again. It's great! I also bought the bedside Anker wireless charging pad which works great as well.

As always, an awesome product

Anker is simply the best. These chargers are well designed, well built, and very fairly priced. They charge fast and look great. I also love how powerful the coils are...my starts charging instantly once dropped on the stand even if it hangs off to one side and isn’t completely centered. Also, the little blue light on the front is really cool looking but most importantly VERY dim. I was worried about that since I keep mine by my bedside, but they are so incredibly dim that they are not a bother and are truly just a nice touch. Killer product. Look no further for a 7.5 iPhone charger.

The Fast Charge is not working on these.

UPDATED: Anker customer service was superb with handling the issues. I was able to get a replacement. The replacement works as described on the Note 9 and on the Note 8. Both show Fast Charging when on this charger. Just to note, I am using this with the Samsung wall charger that came with the Note 9 and a Anker Quickcharge wall charger. This also charges my iPhone 8 plus faster for those who want to know I bought 2 of these and I have tried a Note 8 and a Note 9 on these and neither are showing fast charging. Really unfortunate because I really wanted to add a few of these around the house. Just to be sure I tried several different Anker cables and the cable that came with this charger. I also tried several Quickcharge adapters. Very disappointing

Best Wireless Charger I've Ever Used!

I opened the box at 9:30am to test it out for use while at work and it's now noon and I just ordered 2 more of these to use at home! This charges my Samsung S9+ quicker than any other wireless charger that I've ever used and it does it easily through the Ottebox case. I'm a dedicated Anker fan, all of my past orders have been high quality items but this one takes the cake! I can't wait to get the order I just placed, my son is going to flip when I give him one!

Just what we were looking for.

I purchased two of these upright QI chargers, one for myself and one for my wife. We recently upgraded to Galaxy S8 phones, and wanted to utilize the wireless charging. The decision to go with the standard charger rather than the "fast" charging models was deliberate. We use these overnight, and that is plenty of time to charge up even the deadest of batteries, and the phones don't get hot. Combined with an alarm clock app that pops up as soon as the phone is placed in the dock, the combination has replaced our bedside clocks. It is super convenient to drop the phone on the base and go to sleep. If a call comes in overnight, it's great that I don't have to fumble with the charging cable anymore, just pick up the phone and talk. I've placed the phone on the base in both upright (portrait) and sideways (landscape) positions, and the charger worked fine. If you are looking for a fast charger, this isn't it. But if you just need one that works well, and will charge up your phone in a few hours, this one should please you and be affordable too.

Does what it's supposed to do! I bought this for my desk at work and my phone is always at 100% now when I leave. It charges quick, never has interruptions, and works well with my phone case. The unit itself is also sturdy, doesn't move.

Excellent

I love this charger. I use it with my IPhone X. I was skeptical when I saw how cheap it was but I’ve had it for a week now on my office desk and it is absolutely perfect! If I’m not using my phone I place it on the vertical charge stand and I can easily see notifications while I’m working and it’s charging. All for the price of a 1 meter lightning cable and I don’t have to worry about plugging in and the ends becoming worn and unserviceable. This is so convenient and amazing i can not say enough about this charger. I love the simplistic, plain, matte black finish with the indicator light that lets you know when it’s charging and when it’s not.

Anker is Amazing Despite Google's Swerve.

I purchased two of these and appropriate chargers for my new Pixel 3 only to find out that Google has instituted a proprietary version of qi for quick charging so while this says it is fast charging, it is only charging at 5W. Not worth investing the extra money if you have a Pixel3. ************* As a follow up Anker once again proves that they stand behind both their products and are top notch in customer service which has always impressed me as I've been a multiple repeat customer of their products for years. They reached out to me and offered to let me return them even though the products are not defective, it's just a previously unannounced swerve by Google. The products themselves are sturdy, and of standard excellent Anker quality. Despite the fact that I could not return them fully as my wife threw away the packaging the same day I got them, they have chosen to issue me a partial refund which I think is very generous of them. They are working on a version of this that is compliant with the Google proprietary wireless fast charge capability so if you have a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL keep your eye out for that as well as I will be.

This fast wireless charger does what it says

My iPhone XR went from a 56% charge to 100% in an hour and 33 minutes. As stated, it came with no AC adapter. I chose one that put out 2.1 amps at 5 volts. Watts = current X voltage. So the power output is 10.5 watts, more than enough to charge my iphone. It's quiet, has a small footprint and the LED in the front does not double as a night light. Anker sells a similar one for $19.99, but I went with the 29.99 version. This wireless stand is getting 5 stars from me.
