This is an amazing chair mat and though it is intended for hard floors, I'm using it in my bedroom/office carpeted floor. My old mat was cracking up after less than one year of use so I just laid this one down on top of it to give a semblance of a hard floor. Since this mat is Truly Vinyl (and very thick and heavy), it is holding its place very well and I don't see how it will ever crack...this could be the LAST CHAIR MAT I WILL EVER HAVE TO BUY...LOVE IT!!!

Good Stuff!

I'd say one of the best chair mats out there. Definitely the best I've owned. It's nice and thick yet totally transparent so it gives a very sleek look if you're on hard wood floors. Also I'd say the biggest thing is that it is made out of a rubber like material instead of the normal plastic that Im used to so you don't need to worry about it getting old and cracking and getting those little pieces of broken plastic all over the place.

Great Mat

I’m so impressed with this chair mat! I love that it’s see through so that I can see the ceramic tiles under it, I love the thickness so it doesn’t move as I do and the size is perfect! The seller did a wonderful job with packaging it so that it didn’t get damaged and it arrived even sooner than promised! I would highly recommend this product and this seller!

Excellent protection for my vinyl plank flooring.

47" by 35". Is truly 1/8 inch thick. Crystal clear so it shows the beauty of my new flooring though the mat. It has an invisible coating on one side that keeps the mat in place as the wheeled chair rolls over it. Has not moved even an inch on my vinyl plank flooring after 1 week of daily use of the chair, moving the chair back & forth many times a day. One corner & the center of one of the 47 inch long edges seems to be off the floor a tiny bit, but not enough to cause any tripping danger. It may flatten out after some time or when the temperature gets a bit warmer as it is in an area with AC set to 70 degrees. I have not tried anything to flatten it out in these areas as it is not causing a problem for me or the other person who uses the chair. Its clarity, thickness, floor protection, and the fact that it always stays in place more than makes up for the slight rising of the center of one edge & one corner. The quality & thickness of this item insures that it will last a very long time. Note that this is being used on a hard floor, not a carpet, so I cannot comment on if it would work on a carpet. I am going to order two more for 2 other rolling chairs on the same type of flooring.

Great mat for hard floors

We just installed smooth engineered hardwood floors and needed a mat to protect them from our office chairs. The mats are great; high quality plastic, well packaged (almost too protected), didn't retain packaging shape, crystal clear, and only very minor slip in placement (I may have actually kicked it), My only complaint would be I'd like it to be an inch or two bigger by each dimension, but it's certainly is big enough for the job. I just need to be mindful if I scoot back from my desk and turn to talk to someone that I don't slide a caster off the mat.

Invisible Protection

Gratitudes for the fast arrival of this transparent mat. I recently restored the hard wood floors in my house and there are 3 coats of polyurethane dried on the living room floor. I noticed that my office chair caused some damage on the 3rd layer of polyurethane and decided to order this mat immediately. A few days later it arrived and it has done very well to protect the floor and still allow me to move the chair around the table as needed. I highly recommend this mat to anyone in a home or office setting requiring protection of the floor from a chair, table or any furniture whose weight could cause damage.

The product is what it says it is

I needed a thick chair mat to protect a recently installed hardwood floor from the rollers of my office chair. With little fuss or effort, I unpacked mine - laid it on the floor - put my chair on it. There is no curling of the corners, chair rolls smoothly and without creating 'divots' in the thick mat material. Does it do a little dance of joy when I come in every morning - No Does it make the coffee and take out the trash - No It's a chair mat, what are people expecting from it? Does it do what a chair mat should do without causing additional problems - YES!

Thick but VERY flexible!

This folded out flat within a few minutes. In fact, I don't think it really needed much time at all. NOT recommended for ANY kind of carpeted area. However, this is perfect for a hardwood floor. This is pretty thick yet extremely flexible. And clear. Will show the beauty (or scratched up mars) of your floor. I *think* it would do fine on many times of tile. As long as it's not too bumpy or the grooves too deep. But that's just speculation. I tried it on my 12" sq tiles floor (with about an 1/8-1/4" in deep grooves) and found I could feel it bumping slightly over the grooves but it worked just fine.I am using it to augment a "carpet" chair mat which has started to break apart with sharp edges to puncture bare feet under a desk in a home office. I think I probably should have gone with something a little less flexible. Even though chairs roll along it just fine, there is quite a lot of give, even with it on top of the other, much harder, chair mat. Time will tell. For now I would definitely recommend it I also wish I had taken a picture of it after arrival. Packaged well in it's own protective cover it came beautifully clear and without and scratches or blemishes of any kind.

Nice Material, Highly Recommend!

I bought this chair mat for my daughter’s bedroom since she has hard wooden floors that can be scratched and ruined easily by her chair. After receiving the mat, I don’t see any new scratches on her floor and I love how thick the mat and the material it is made out of! It is super crystal clear and allows you to still see the beautiful wooden floors underneath and the mat itself stays right in place and does not move at all. My daughter tells me that she is able to easily roll her chair on it and overall, I am very pleased and happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this mat to someone and am thinking of getting it for my office!
