Great midi controller

I've played 40+years & have owned many synths, pianos etc & this keyboard has really nice action, feel. Simple layout, I don't need pads or a bunch of sliders so this is perfect for me. Very good keyboard action, somewhere between a synth & a weighted kybd, I love it! Feels pro! I tried the Nektar Impact GX61 Controller Keyboard & it feels like a toy. Prior to this I had the Axiom & that was pretty good, this is much better. & crazy cheap, great value for money. Please make one with 73 keys!

BEST MIDI CONTROLLER

This is my first ever midi controller and it’s awesome. Super simple device, does what it says it will. Great size, build, quality and arrived super fast in the mail. You can totally put this in your backpack and take it anywhere! Thankfully I got the proper cord to plug into my iPhone so I can actually charge my phone while I use my instrument. I’m honestly so happy rn

Garageband capable and IPAD

I bought this to hook up to my ipad. YES I SAID IPAD. i have the Ipad 6th gen and it runs great on garage band! Also use it on my Imac and it works great. Cheap price but great quality.

Worth the purchase!

Doesn't take up space, the keys take some time getting use to. (compared to your standard electronic or acoustic piano) If you're looking for something cheap that doesn't take up a lot of space then this is the keyboard for you.

Best set of keys I have ever bought for under $200!!!!!

I have owned KORG workstation, I have tried Roland, Nord, Native Instruments and a few others, BUT THIS CONTROLLER IS HANDS DOWN BEST SEMI-WEIGHTED KEYBED IN THIS PRICE RANGE!!! This has just enough resistance to where you know you pressed the keys without the need to hammer down. I would dare say that M-Audio is using the same keybed that is used in the Komplete line up of Native Instruments, minus all the bells and whistles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Plays as Advertised!

I am far from a Keyboard expert, but this midi keyboard works exactly as advertised! Works as soon as you plug it in. I can verify that it works with MAGIX music maker and FL Studio as well! Octave buttons flash letting you know if its in a high octave or a low octave, which is super useful. And its 99 dollars for 49 keys! You probably won't get a cheaper deal.

Very nice! What the M-Audio Keystation 49 MK3 needs to do, it does very well.

I 've found the Keystation 49 MK3 MIDI Controller by M-Audio to be a very capable, USB-powered, plug and play 49-key MIDI controller. The keyboard functions perfectly with my DAW of choice, Reaper, on my Win 10 laptop. As a bonus, the free software and VSTi's (virtual instruments), which are downloadable from the applicable developers website after online device registration, are worth the price of admission by themselves. They are: Pro Tools - M-Audio Edition (if you're in need of a DAW) Ableton Live Lite MiniGrand VSTi Velvet VSTi Xpand!2 VSTi Again, the keyboard itself does what it needs to do, and does it well. It fits nicely at the front of my "standard size" desk, and is light and compact enough to be quickly portable, if that's your gig. My 5 stars are for the keyboard, with the included software being a huge bonus. Well done M-Audio! I almost gave 4 stars only because of the M-Audio web registration process. More accurately, the "create account" page. You'll get through it, but you'll see what I mean! :)

A good value with good action

Really pleased with this controller. It’s got an excellent action and seems very well made. I’ve done a dozen gigs with it and like it more than when I got it.

Fantastic & easy plug-n-play controller

(I bought the 61 key version) - I've used this keyboard for the past couple weeks plugged in directly to my iPad and out through speakers - and it's been fantastic. A lightweight and easy option for travel or at home, I took it out of the box, plugged it into my iPad and started playing. With a direct lightning-usb cable I bought on amazon, the iPad powers this device so I don't need an alternate power source which has been fantastic. And it doesn't seem to draw too much power from the iPad as I was able to play for hours with it plugged in. Highly recommend as a portable midi keyboard option for gigging, travel, or at home!
