Solid, responsive software

I've been using painter for over 10 years, this latest version just confirms the quality of the solution provided by Corel and it's really, really responsive. It's a solid piece software.

Cannot upgrade an Education/Academic version

Corel Painter is great - the best. BUT, if you have a education/academic version of Painter, you cannot upgrade. You will have to buy either the new education/academic version or the regular non-academic verison. But you cannot upgrade.
