Go to coconut water! Growing up in a tropical place, I'm used to drinking coconut water almost every day. Coconut water is generally super expensive in US, even for the packaged bottles. Atleast this one did not have as much preservatives like the other ones in the market and tastes fresh!

I have gastroparesis (paralyzed stomach), which often leaves me dehydrated, has left me having to get a potassium drip in the ER before along with an IV for the dehydration, and horribly nauseated and sick when I drink regular water. I finally took the plunge and tried these, and I am so glad I did. The first one wasn't my favorite, but I guess I developed a taste for them because I started liking them by the second one. Besides the fact that I tolerate them better than regular water, I also now am not drinking all soft drinks and have added one a day to my drink rotation, along with adding coconut mixers to my regular water and sipping on them throughout the day and found they don't automatically make me sick either.

Vita Coco Coconut Water tastes great and this stuff goes down the hatch a little too easily. It would be easy to drink several of these a day. This is the best value on coconut water that we've found. A bit over a pint, generously sized. The packaging is advertised as frustration free, and it delivers on that promise. I like the ability to reseal the box with the convenient screw top, good for in the car or on the go. The flavor is clean and fresh and as good as any unflavored unsweetened coconut water I've had, really does taste like putting a straw in a coconut. So good I've done a Subscriber and Save on this item.

We (my wife and I) have done blind taste tests on 6 different brands of coco water, and Vita Coco wins. It's clearly the freshest tasting, with no weird aftertaste. Love it. I just wish Amazon's pricing wouldn't keep jumping all over the place. I've got all 3 different sizes of Vita Coco on my wish list, so that I can wait for the best price per milliliter, then pull the trigger.

Vita Coco IS 100% pure; not all coconut waters can claim that! It tastes like you just stuck a straw in a green coconut and sipped the refreshing nectar and went "Ahhhh". It is certainly refreshing and that is supported not only by medical people but by a friend of mine from India. So who you gonna believe, heh? On a trip to India, while we were driving from Bangalore (now Bangalaroo) to Mysore, I noticed a lot of people stopping along side the road to buy coconuts from vendors. I asked my friend what that was all about. Did they like to eat coconuts THAT much?? He told me that they were stopping to get a refreshing drink to help them fight the effects of the heat. Coconut water gave them a good resistance to the heat and refreshed them. Intriguing, I thought at the time. But later on when I discovered the product made by Vita Coco all that discussion came flooding back to me. The amount of potassium is great compared to bananas. I DO get an uplifting feeling knowing that I'm not only getting a tasty drink (I like that 17 ounce size) but it has such great benefits of refreshment during the hot season. CHEERS!!

We have been using this product for a while and then we found out we could get it on Amazon and get huge discounts by adding it to our subscribe and save items. We love the product and the savings. We use this to hydrate before and after hard workouts or special events like half-marathons. We also use this to recover from a night of too much drinking. This is a great product to keep you hydrated and help recover.

My neighbor "turned me on"to this drink..and I love love coconut anything but this is a very subtle , a very light taste of coconut..I really like that nothing is added..I would like it better if they made it somewhere in the USA... Even my Dad's hometown of Guam or Puerto Rico.. The one I had last came from Indonesia somewhere...and try the unflavored first..I would never flavor the pure coconut with anything but coconut..I can drink a large one in one sitting..,this liquid, I've learned ,gets cold very fast in the fridge and probably due to the coconut.. Cheers.. Tony

I know that everyone hates on some of the less expensive brands, but I love this coconut water. I see a difference in how I feel and my hydration levels, so it's not useless. -Hydrating. -Refreshing. -Good flavor. -Not a ton of additives. -Packaged well. -Comes fast.

Coconut water is a naturally sweet beverage that provides essential electrolytes including potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorous. It is far healthier than heavily dyed, artificially sweetened sports drinks. I purchase Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) regularly and include it in my smoothies and other drinks. My daughter likes to drink it straight up. WHAT I LIKE: • Its mild flavor does not seep through when added to other things, which is important to me because I cannot stand the taste of coconut. • It is a healthy addition to my green smoothies, especially after a hard workout at the gym. • It is appealing to my kids as a drink and so much better than soda. • The coconut water is not in plastic which leaches toxic chemicals. • The twist on lid makes the coconut water storable if I don’t finish the carton. • Added to frozen strawberries, lime juice and tequila, coconut water naturally sweetens margaritas. • It tastes fantastic blended with frozen pineapple. WHAT I DON’T LIKE: • From time to time I will get a case of coconut water with defective lids. PICTURES: I am including a picture of the coconut water container lid as well as a carton in my hand for a size reference. I really love the Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) and would definitely recommend it. I keep a stock of this on hand at all times.
