Super strong when screwed into a stud

My wife needed something to hold all of her Rae Dunn and this was something she saw a friend post and loved it. I got the task of making it come to life and these pipe brackets made it really easy. Pros: Strong as heck if you screw them into the stud. Great look that keeps it industrial or farmhouse. Easy to install with a couple of Exterior Deck screws that don't show up afterwards. Cons: The are very dirty when they come in, but that is to be expected. Just be prepared to have dirty hands and walls. Some of these are not perfectly straight coming out of the wall, so you will need to put them in to the flange and then turn them to be sure they are all going in the same direction when installing them.

Very Pleased Overall

Heavy durable items. I knew they would be oily and need to cleaned per the description and other reviews. I used warm water and dish soap and paper towels to clean them. I did seal them with general finishes flat out flat which is an acrylic top coat. The metal color is a dark iron. They are stamped with CHINA on the piece that goes flat against the wall where no one sees it. It also is stamped with CHINA in small letters on the end caps, visibility can be determined by how far you twist it and how close a person can inspect it. My husband felt hardware was not sufficient for weight of the pipes let alone anything you might put on shelves, he bought stronger.

Very pleased with complete kits.

Very pleased with the shelf bracket kits! I did some research on purchasing each piece separately & as inexpensively as possible. Once I did all the number crunching, purchasing these came out to the same & they were easy complete kits (we needed quite a few kits). We just built a log cabin/house & decided to do all upper shelving for our kitchen. There is a lot of weight on them, microwave, stoneware dishes, etc. Put the brackets up no more than 2' apart. On the sheet rock wall I put one every stud. For the log wall, it was not as challenging as I thought it would be. Pretty easy to level. We used 2"x12" fir for the shelves. Looks great & is very solid.

REMOVE THE CAPS!

Read some negative reviews, but took a chance. Turns out, some people may just not know how to set these bad boys up. I purchased 8” wide boards, sanded and finished them. Then, after installing the brackets, I removed the cap at the end. After placing the boards on the brackets, I screwed in the caps to meet up with the board. If you don’t remove the caps first, your 8” board WILL NOT FIT. The caps are meant to secure the boards to the pipe. DO NOT buy boards less than 8” wide, or the effect wont work and your boards will be loose.

Much cheaper than Lowes and HomeDepot

Great pipes and just what I needed for my kitchen shelves project. They are not black - they're natural steel color. See photos. I bought another set since I liked it so much. Shipping was fast. Got here in 2 days.

Arrived in great condition, with excellent care instructions. Pretty easy to install. A few of them were a bit crooked once installed (though the screws went in completely straight), but it didn't wind up being an issue once the shelves were put on top. I used 2x12 boards and painted them, and that worked very well- they fit perfectly onto these brackets, and it felt extremely sturdy. Highly recommended.

Convenient, Easy, Affordable, Gorgeous!

My laundry room was pretty basic, with one sad wire shelf. Certainly not enough storage space, plus it was just boring. I decided to spruce things up without breaking the bank by using my favorite pipe shelving! In the past I’ve simply headed to the local home improvement store and bought the pieces I needed à la carte, but I stumbled across this listing on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I couldn’t be more pleased! First of all, the ordering process is *beyond* convenient! And once the pipes arrived, all the pieces were there and well-packed. They also included hardware and installation directions for anyone who may need a little extra help. After wiping the pipes down, I had them up and mounted in a couple of hours. A few more tweaks with curtains and artwork, and it’s ‘Bye bye basic builder wire shelving! Hello industrial farmhouse!!’ I’ll definitely buy these again!

I had been wanting industrial farmhouse looking shelves for a while and actually found some online but I didn't like the thickness and coloring of the wood so started looking into making my own for my boys' bedrooms. The pipe fittings alone were $10/piece so this was a steal!!! I was able to make 4 shelves for $60 including the wood!! Thank you so much- I love these!! Only thing I would add is I hate the hammer in type of anchors- they are so flimsy that every time I hammer them in they go straight through the drywall- so I bought the screw in anchors that work much better- so if you are ever looking into changing the hardware that come with these I highly recommend the screw in anchors for drywall :)

Great product, great price

Exactly as described, arrived quickly and worked perfectly for my industrial farmhouse style shelves. Priced much better than the hardware stores and everything you need is included...didn’t use the Molly’s included but went for heavy duty wall anchors as I wanted to be sure the shelves would be sturdy. Absolutely love the way the came out! A bit greasy but dish soap and water took care of that.
