Easy to use

Despite poor reviews for this scale I was pleasantly surprised that it works well. I haven't used it to the point of running out of batteries so I can't give any feedback for battery life. That being said it's a shame this doesn't come with an AC adapter version since I'm sure replacing button cell batteries will turn out to be pricey and wasteful in the future. It comes in two pieces and is easy to assemble you just screw the glass platform onto the base. From there you remove the paper tab, it already comes with batteries installed. Then you're all set for weighing.

Best Digital Kitchen Scale I have ever had!

Elegant design! Very helpful kitchen gadget for all those people who needs precision in their cooking. The precision tare button calculates the net weight of your ingredients by automatic subtracting the weight of any bowl or container.

Helps me convert recipes

I live in outside the USA, most of the recipes are in grams, liters,etc. This scale makes navigating the metric system easy!

Overall a great scale

I had high expectations buying a new digital scale, as I didn't like my previous buy. The notable differences between the digital scale I had and this Bonsen model are: The readings, like the measurement of grams or ounces, stay in place and don't fluctuate; if i'm taking time to weigh my food, I can push the "hold" button, preventing it from auto-turning off; and the scale is elevated in a way that I can place any large object on it and still see the display. The only downside, at least for me, is the battery required to operate the scale. I would have preferred a AA or AAA battery scale.

It works well so far

Even though I seldom use it, the scale works well and can satisfy various scaling requirements of kitchen. I particularly like the reset zero design that makes the measurement of raw meat or liquid like things very easily, because one has no need to deduct the weight of containers.

Accurate and easy to use

Very easy to use and accurate result. This scale has multiple units that users can easily switch to desire unit like Bl, Ml, g etc. Great for people who wants to use it measure baking ingredients. Very satisfy with this purchase.

Fabulous price, works great!

After searching for a food scale at a great price point and also one that came in a fun color, I’m so glad I stumbled upon this one. The display is very clear and the tare function works great. Importantly, it registers small amounts of weight as well, allowing for terrific precision. Very happy; I only wished it had come in green or orange!
