My rather large and long infant loved this from 2 to 5 months. She developed abdominal strength MUCH faster than same aged peer babies. This leans, engaging the abs, unlike a bumpo seat which is 90 degree. I bought it just to securely sit and occupy her, the ab strength was a bonus. No lie, she was doing downward dog style planks before crawling at 4.5 months (photo is 5 month bday). Crawled at 5 months, standing at 7 months...i think this and a water mat helped develop her neck and ab core muscles. May not be average results, never tried on my other child. This child is developing faster than average. Even if she hadn't, it is a cute design, has an area to hook objects to and sit toys on. Flattened easily so would not take up space when not in use. My child never got the squeak pads going by kicking, her legs were too long.

This little floor chair has been a lifesaver. I originally bought it because I wanted something with a little more head/neck/back support than a bumbo, which I also have. My baby loved this chair from the beginning and so did we. Our baby started crawling (and walking) early so it was nice to be able to anchor him for a few minutes at a time when we needed to do something. we would sit him in the chair with some toys on the tray and read to him or play with him. We also used this as a starter chair for baby food until we really needed a high chair. There are squeakers in the feet part, he never really made them squeak. I took the fabric part off and put it in the washer and then let it air dry and it looked brand new. The only thing I didn't like is that the squeakers (the same kind that are in dog toys) filled with water and I'm afraid they will mold. I was able to squeeze the water out, but I'm sure there is still some in there. It's probably fine, but if it is something you would worry about, you could probably cut a hole in the back of the fabric and pull the squeakers out.

Our 3 months old son started making the attempt on pulling him self out of his car seat and favors sitting up. We were looking for something that would allow him to sit up better as his swing if we had to put him down. After reading the customer reviews I opted for this model of the Fisher Price Sit Me up since it came with a tray. We love it. It is well made and of fabric that can be cleaned easily. The lion feet squeak. He is already quite the kicker when he lays down so we can't wait when he starts kicking while sitting. He is still a little insecure even though he has a strong neck. His core isn't quite strong yet to allow him to sit unassisted but he is only 3 months old. This seat offers him good support so he can sit independently. He still leans a bit to the side but the seat is designed to hold him good.

This is a great device to allow you to interact face to face with your baby and to give him a different perspective on the world. We started using this when our son was about 3.5 months old. He loves the toys on it, and loves when we put him on our patio and blow bubbles directly at him. I have read a number of occupational therapy blogs that say the Fisher Price sit me up is one of the most ergonomically sound floor sitters on the market, which makes me very happy. The only criticism I have is that the squeakers in the lion's paws are so high up there is no way a baby could kick and actually hit the squeakers. They are basically under my son's thighs.

This seat is such a great product! I bought it when my twins were 3 months old and use it every day. They love to sit up even though they can't do it on their own. This seat is nice and safe as it provides some support to the head and they can't fall forward. The seat appears to be quite comfortable as well. My babies usually just hang out in there for 10-20 minutes looking around. Now that they can grab stuff they are playing with the 2 toys in the front too. The only criticism I have is that it is difficult to get baby in and out of the seat. The seat is mesh and the way a baby's legs bow in you have to simultaneously spread the legs apart and guide them into the leg holes while holding up baby. Sometimes it takes several tries to get baby in by myself! But as it provides entertainment for my twins where I don't have to directly play with them or hold them up it's been a lifesaver! Picture is of my 12 week old baby.

It's safe to say my daughter loves this! We got the lion with the tray. We have no use for the tray yet since she's only 2.5 months old. She's been struggling to sit up in her fisher price nb-toddler rocker so we knew it was time for something else. She has just started reaching for things so so she hasn't quite figured out the toys hanging in front but I'm sure within a month she will. For her it's just a way to sit up without assistance from mom and dad.

Oh how my daughter and I LOVE this chair! She is now two months and strong for her age. She can't sit up on her own but likes to be sitting up watching everything going on around her. I was in limbo for a few weeks not knowing what to do! She can't do a bouncer yet but is getting tired of laying down all the time. Enter this chair! It supports her perfectly and she gets to watch all that's going on. She enjoys playing with the toys that are attached and it keeps her entertained the entire time she's up. The tray will be very useful when she starts finger foods. I take this everywhere! It folds up for the perfect travel size. We take it to the park, to gram and paps, etc. We can't sing enough praises about this chair!

Our 2 month old baby loves it. She likes to sit up and look around and it has good head support for that. I would recommend this chair!

My son loves it! It is better than a Bumbo seat for his age (3 months) and his neck doesn't whip around as violently as in the Bumbo. I love the little tray, because I can put toys on there for him to play with. Overall great purchase. Does not fold up as small as I would like, but not terrible. Still would recommend. See pics to revel in his cuteness!!!!!

This has to be hands down my favorite baby object in my house. I didn't even register for it when I was pregnant bc no one I knew had one. When my daughter was 3 months she already hated being flat. She wanted us to hold her in the sitting position at all times, shes a very curious child. As any new parent knows, It can get hard to get stuff done when you have to hold the baby 24/7. I borrowed my sister in laws bumbo chair and my daughter was trying to throw herself out of it. She would lean to one side and just look uncomfortable. I felt like I couldn't take my eyes off her for a second when she was in the bumbo. I did some research online and this came up on amazon. I bought it and literally ripped the box open as soon as I got it to try it out. Can we say....LIFESAVER. We have used this for months. She can even sit and crawl on her own now but she still enjoys sitting in this daily. I also feel very confident that she wont flip over so I don't have to hover over her while she is in it. I have a large walk in shower so when my husband is gone and I need a shower, I throw her in this and put it beside the shower. I can keep her contained while I shower and entertained at the same time. I now recommend this to anyone who asks advice on what to register for!
