After the seller contacted me due to my review I was pleasantly surprised that they would offer a full refund or replacement cooler. Within two to three days I had my new cooler and a lot of the issues I had with the previous one were gone. The creaking noise from one of the fans is gone, the USB ports were all level with the cooler, and it seems like this one blows a little more air than the last - probably due to a faulty fan, causing the creaking noise too. With this cooler and my laptops fans set to 100%, I noticed a decrease of about 4-5 degrees C on the CPU and about 3-4 on the GPU. Overall, if you have a laptop regardless of if it is a gaming or work laptop a cooling pad will help you keep it cool.

A few years ago I used to have a laptop cooler with a plastic cover and it worked well until the cover broke and I've never bought another one until now. I was really excited to find this one because it has a metal cover on top where the computer sits. The bottom has legs at the top edge that have two different height possibilities and grips that hold the cooler in place. The design promotes a lot of airflow and even on high speed the fans are very quiet and they move a lot of air. I love that you have different options for speed and how many fans to use at a time. The USB cable is braided cord and highly flexible, and there are two USB ports. It's 15.75 inches long by 11.25 inches wide, and my computer is 15 inches so it fits with room to spare. The single thing I would upgrade on this pad would be to add the capability to dim the lights because I can see the edges of it under my computer and on occasion it distracts me, although sometimes it looks cool. I haven't found anything negative about it at all. Not only does this cooling pad work very well, it seems to be well made and the design is striking.

Very intuitive. Some of the English is strange, but it conveys roughly the right meanings. Not sure how much I trust the height adjustment feet, but the first of the two heights feels sturdy enough. High quality metal mesh. Very good grip with my laptop: doesn’t feel like it will slip off. Powered by your laptop using a usb to usb cable for convenience. Can also be powered by standard phone ac to dc 5v adapters along with the cord provided. Lights up well. Very quiet. Many fan speed settings. Many options as far as which fans are functioning at any given time (two fan, three fan, and five fan modes)

I'm running a HP omen i7 w a gtx1050 (2016) model and it run hot to the touch below the keyboard and right side of the trackpad where. This cooling pad help out a bit. The laptop needs more better cooling system but can't do much about the design so I got this cooling pad. It too off about 10 degree off the temp. Not too great but not bad. I can rest my palm on the laptop now at least haha.

My old cooling pad broke with a loud grinding noise a year ago, and it took me this long shopping for a new one to settle on this. I've had so many pads over the years and they all wind up dying with a horrible grinding buzz sound. So I figured I'd try a brand not sold at the big "buy" store, and spend a little more instead of cheaping out. This pad looks amazing in person. I went with this one because it has a more squared off design than some of the others, and I'm glad I did. The lights are cool too, but it's not like you can really see them when your computer is on top. For me, the price justification comes from the customization of the fans. You can choose the upper/middle 3 or the bottom 2 fans to turn on (or all of them). The way I look at it, I can extend the life of this thing by only using the top fans for a few months, then only the bottom fans, etc. You can also adjust the speed to use less power. Definitely keep a hard surface underneath it for airflow - I placed it on my bed once and there wasn't enough air able to be pulled through the bottom. That's the only con about these types of cooling pads. My laptop has been running super cool now, so they really work. The build quality is nice though, lightweight but sturdy with no rattling parts, and the fans are completely silent. Overall I'm satisfied and would recommend it if you're in the market for a new pad.

Good for the price. Came with a braided USB cable, which I was pleasantly surprised with. I agree with other reviews saying that the instructions are not that clear, but I was able to figure it out by fiddling with it for a bit. I just hope it has a longer lifespan than other laptop coolers I've used in the past.

Very glad with purchase it arrived home sooner than expected within 4 days its helped cool down my laptop and ive gamed within 5-7 hours non stop and my laptop has not overheared like it used to without the cooling pad! 5/5

Kept my gaming laptop 8-10*C cooler under heavy loads and my laptop fans were louder then this base. It also allowed my laptop to sit higher to make it easier to view with the 2nd monitor. I’ll be bring this with me whenever I bring my laptop for my travels. I did wish it was a USB3 pass through but I can deal with the USB 2.0 for my house since I can just hook up the keyboard to it. When I travel, i don’t need it since I have 4 USB3 on my laptop available. I also did wish the LEDs could be shut off for when I play in the dark. Not s big deal though.

My previous laptop cooler had a proprietary plug that promptly went bad at the connection point. It then required constant adjustment to make sure it was on. So, I specifically looked for one that uses a standard USB plug. Advantages: - The 5 fan design hits all possible air intake points for any laptop. - Fairly quiet. I have an older laptop, and when it's on, cannot hear the cooler fan at all. If you have a newer solid state laptop, this may not be the case, but you probably won't need the fan then... unless you're gaming. But in that case, you probably won't care about a bit of white noise. - Has a secondary USB port - It certainly moves a lot of air compared to my older laptop. I didn't do the standard core temperature checks, but I can see that the laptop isn't going into the high fan mode (happens when it starts overheating). - Has feet that allow you to raise it a bit to move even more air, or perhaps to place on a surface that's not totally flat. - Has a detachable plastic piece (on the back) that can be inserted in front of the laptop to prevent it from sliding, when laptop is on an incline. - Intuitive controls or turning the fan on/off, and adjusting speed. Disadvantages: - Can't think of one, it's a solid 5 stars.

To start with, I got the blue version. There does appear to be a control difference from other pictures. This is one of the most adaptable laptop coolers that I've ever seen or used. Ive added a few pictures to show what I'm talking about. First off it has three heights: flat, slightly angled, more angled. This is great for when I'm sitting on the couch or using a table tray. When it's angled, there is a lip thing that keeps the laptop from sliding off. And when it's not in use, it stores neatly in the back. As for the fans, the 3 different fan configurations is nice. My chromebook only needs elevating and 2 or 3 fans. My programming laptop definitely needs all 5 fans. And the adjustable airflow level is great as well. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. I'll update if I run into any durability issues.
