Chucks up great in my Milwaukee base!

I was worried that it wouldn't mount to the Milwaukee base, but it fit perfectly. Very impressed by the quality and price. Actually seems sturdier than the Milwaukee because it doesn't have the absurdly oversized screwdriver openings. I'm a convert, I'll be buying these, instead of Milwaukee for HALF THE PRICE. Thanks China!

Better than Milwaukee

I purchased this already because I had just burned through a $60 competitors hole saw. The big box model chatered and stripped out the treads because of it's "quick change" ability. I was pleased to see that this model has a thoughtful design which doesn't rely on the threads to keep the saw attached. This hole saw powered through 5/16 plywood easily. I was super pleased with my purchase.

Does what it’s made for.

This is a heavy duty cutter, easy to use, exactly as advertised. The only thing I didn’t consider was that the shaft was larger than my drill so I had to use an adapter.

Good/Not Quite so Good

Delivered on time as promised. All parts fit well and worked as planned. Now the details. 1/4 in pilot bit is not adjustable for depth. This could be an issue in limited clearance space or when having to drill in an exact location. Only wish the arbor would have been centered drilled so the pilot bit could be adjusted for variable depths. Fortunately, I had a spare arbor and it was through drilled to allow for variable depth setting on the pilot bit. Also lock pins and arbor tread matched perfectly. Again, vendor sold as advertised, just wish I could have understood that pilot bit was not adjustable depth. Minor in my case and because tool seems to be produced to industry standards, things worked out fine. I buy from this vendor again with no problems. I'd just ask a few more questions.

For the money, this thing is

GREAT! Seriously, I have it mounted on a drill press and I'm very impressed with what this sub $25 hole-saw has done for me. Im making a second iteration of my PC open table 'case', 140mm fans which are 190mm corner to corner, which is 6" in 'mercan.

Much better than expected.....

I thought this was going to be a one time use hole saw, considering the price. After drilling 6 holes for can lights, it still has plenty of use. I was drilling through a 3/4 " pine tongue and grove ceiling....the hole saw has plenty of life left!

Great design

Bought to make my first cornhole boards and I was very impressed. One problem I have run into when using hole saws in the past is removing the wood you just cut out from the inside of the hole saw. It couldn't be easier with this hole saws design. You can easily unscrew the center drill bit and pop the circle of wood out by pushing something thin (I used a lag bolt) through the hole where the bit goes. It took a little playing with to determine the right drill speed and pressure but once I got that dialed in, the bit worked great and made clean holes. Looking forward to making more cornhole boards with this!

Does cut heavy sheet steel very well.

I needed to cut two 3” holes in .100” chassis steel. Did the job and ready for more. Very good product.

Quality hole saw

I used this to bore a hole for 4" vent duct and it worked very well. The only issue is, the hole drilled is exactly the same size as the 4" duct, so if you are going to push the duct through the hole you've drilled, you will have to do a little reaming. Might be a big deal if you are drilling through thick/heavy material.

Perfect fit for Monoprice Stata 800W Sous Vide Cooker

I used this to drill a hole into the top of my Coleman cooler for Sous Vide. The hole saw was a perfect fit for my Monoprice Stata 800W Sous Vide Cooker. There was barely any gap between the hole and the Sous Vide. After sanding, the hole was cutting very cleanly and smooth.
