This is a wonderful little set of sock needles. Very high quality and all the sizes you need for most socks. ChiaoGoo also includes some extras for you. The set comes with both a short and long version of each size listed. The case is great, it makes it easy to keep your needles from getting lost or mixed up. It’s small and compact for travel. This is a must have set for all sock knitters!

Adore these little guys!

I bought these for sock and other tiny knitting. I wanted versatility to travel with. I prefer bamboo needles usually, but was worried I would snap one traveling and be stuck without. These knit and handle beautifully and pack up so tiny and safe they are a dream to travel with. So glad I got them!

I love ChiaoGoo needles....all of them, so I am biased when it comes to this review. These are a great set of SMALL needles for socks and other fine work. They come with a lot of accessories and feel terrific. These are my first choice for needles, every time. (I don't take them outside of the house...I don't want to lose them, so these are my at home needles.)

Love My Shorties!!!

I love ChiaoGoo needles anyways so it would stand to reason that I would love these Shorties. These needles are perfect for making socks or anything else small in the round. I love that the pouch has everything you need to get started on your knitting project; there’s even stitch markers (although I have tons). There is also a carabiner so that you can attach the pouch to your knitting bag. Now I must say these needles are small so if you have large hands you may have problems using these...

BEST SOCKS KNITTING SET

Best sock needles ever in my personal opinion and I have 5 other brand named sets like Addi, Knit Picks, Karbonz, etc.

It is ChiaoGoo. Expect the best.

I've never had a Chiaogoo knitting needle that I didn't love. I prefer short needles and love these for socks and baby shoes and socks.

Pleased with this ChaioGoo Twist shorties with red lace Interchangeable knitting set.

To be fair, I love ChaioGoo circular needles. I did have reservations about purchasing this set of needles. Because of people mentioning the needles separated from the cable. I found the cable side has a hole and the needle side has a hole. I used the tools to tighten the needle to the cable by twisting tools opposite ways. The needles have not separated yet. Hope it continues to work, and hope someone finds this useful.

great for socks and toys

I'm really impressed with these needles. I'm using them on socks and I can imagine they would be great for toys or other small items. Well made. The case is very handy.

Defect end on one of the cables.

Love Chiagoo—have many of their other sets. Unfortunately, on the newest, the twist shorties, the 6” cable has a defective end that won’t twist flush. Edit to add: emailed Chiagoo and they responded quickly and are sending me a replacement. 5 stars for excellent customer service.
