So I bought this when it had one review. I'm going to try to leave as detailed a review as I can. This booster is perfect for little toddlers. My son is 2 (and 2 days) and this puts him at a good height for the table. The table is just below chest level so its about the same height as the boosters given at a restaurant. It has two straps to strap it to the chair, and does a pretty good job of holding tight. My little toddler can climb in and out of his chair without help and the booster doesn't move. The grey insert comes out easily for cleaning, but that also means it slides around. The grey insert is not attached to the chair in any way. It only sits as a pad on the top of the white sections. The straps hold it in place so it doesnt fall off. That being said, when my toddler climbs in and out, the grey part does not slide around on him. And once he sits in it, the pressure from his weight keeps it from sliding around. The straps are not removable so they have to either be strapped in, or sit on the straps. Its very very easy to clean. The grey part wipes easily, and then when crumbs fall in the strap holes, you just lift the grey part and wipe.

Love these seats for my 2 and 3 year old toddler boys! Not sure why people complain about the insert sliding off and kids falling when they try to get into the seat, because we don't have that problem at all and my boys climb EVERYTHING. The fact that you can easily take out the insert and wash it, is the main reason I got this because it makes cleaning up after 2 boys SO much easier! I also love the fact that the belt clasps are super sturdy and hard to open, which means my boys cannot get themselves out of the seats on their own and run throughout the house with their dirty hands leaving fingerprints throughout the house! My only complain is that they seem to stain easily with tomato products, especially when the boys are eating chili or spaghetti. We will wash it immediately when they are eating stuff with tomatoes but we can still see a slight stain where the food was, that is my only complaint!

My 18 month old daughter loves sitting at the table with us and it's no longer a fight strapping her in to a high chair (pictures, and destined for the garage now). This booster saves space, fits my toddler, and is easy to clean and install! I'm looking forward to meals with my toddler now!

I purchased this for my 3 year old. My dinning room table has a piece of wood trim that hangs very low from the table top. This makes it hard to scoot most booster seats close to the table. His legs or the sides of the booster seat would hit the table before he is close enough. This seat is the only one that works. The seat is not a deep in the length front to back. His legs drop off the booster seat sooner allowing his legs to slide further under the table with out hitting. The sides on the seat tapper down so there are not side "wings" that hit the table. I purchased one for my house and both grandmas. I tried 3 other seats including brands like Lion heart and Chicco from target. This is superior. It is the only one that will fit any table.

Solidly made, excellent product. We tried other booster seats, and several design features of this one were outstanding. First, all booster seats have safety belts, are easy to wipe clean, so those features cancel each other out. What makes this seat our choice is that the front edge is NOT rounded, but straight across......this means that little feet can fit on the front of the chair when they are climbing onto the seat. We replaced another booster seat that was more rounded in the front, and as every 2 year old is determined to "do it myself", he didn't have enough room on the chair seat for his foot as he climbed in and out......it was an accident waiting to happen. This seat with the flatter front edge, leaves plenty of room for a knee or foot while climbing in our out. Also, the base is a bit wider, so the stability is excellent. Highly recommend.

I actually bought this in gray, and am purchasing another to keep at Grandma's house! The gray is nice and neutral and you can't even see the seat when the chairs are pushed in to the table. It was so nice to upgrade to this from the bulky high chair and at least make the dining area look a little less overtaken by baby stuff! My son (age 2) was reluctant at first - standard 2 year old behavior - but now he loves his seat! It allows him to sit at the table like a "big kid," which he loves, and it makes meals so much easier than a) him being angrily trapped in an outgrown high chair, or b) sliding around and jumping off of a regular chair. He actually likes to buckle himself in and generally doesn't try to escape. Once in a while the top foamy part will come off when he's extra squirmy and we're trying to wrestle him into the seat, but it goes back in place pretty easily. We haven't had any problems with it coming undone while my son is seated and buckled. It's easy to wipe down. We did purchase a mat to go under the seat as well. It helps protect the seat and makes cleanup even easier.

I was looking for a secure booster seat. We have a small kitchen at the high chair was just always in the way even when we folded it down. I was tired of rearranging my kitchen for the darn space saving high chair we had...and then I found this. A blessing in disguise. We have a bar height table to keep our English Mastiff from eating the kids food so this worked perfect. Having the buckles to secure the booster seat due to the height of our chairs was really important as was being able to buckle in our son who at the time was only 18/19 months old. He's a giant 2 year old so now were looking to phase him out of this seat in the next few months but you should be able to get the average toddler to stay in this seat through 3 years old. The seat is only height adjustable by removing the cushion which is somewhat misleading. My son won't let me take the cushion off because "that's not how it goes," even though he could use height drop. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade from a high chair to a regular seat but still need the height boost to reach the table.

This seat works well for us. Install took a little improvising. When we first attached it to our chair we had to wrap the strap around a post on the chair back to get it tight enough. It was also a bit tricky to tighten the strap underneath the chair. Our toddler (21 months) scares me a bit when he learns over to one side because it's just loose enough that I fear he might tip the whole chair. So far so good though. The chair seems comfortable. He is happy to be lifted into it (which is impressive because he's actually willing to abandon a grown-up chair to sit there!). The seat buckles keeps him in just fine. He can buckle it himself when he's in the mood. Easy to clean. Foam seat simply lifts up. We definitely needed a seat protector under it. The prince lionheart one works well for us.

So far we love it! I couldn’t stand constantly moving our big high chair out of the way all the time in our small dining area and this was the perfect solution! For those complaining about the rubber seat moving... that’s kind of the point so you can remove it and clean under there. If it becomes an issue I’ll just install some velcro command strips under it but it doesn’t really slip and slide like some others had mentioned. That being said, I use this for my one year old who still needs to be lifted in and out of the seat. Overall, really am liking this booster. I thought about buying the more expensive Oxo but glad I didn’t - this one is just what I need for half the price.

I was ready to switch from a high-chair to a booster seat so I could slide the chair under the table again. I transitioned my son to this seat when he was 14 months old, and able to sit up/walk really well on his own. The seat has is a rubbery/slightly squishy removable shell, with a safety belt to strap him/her in. It also has an aesthetically clean look to it, so it's not an eye sore to look at. You can easily remove the shell for cleaning, or to have your child sit in the plastic bottom portion of the seat. Either way you choose, the seat straps are still usable! The seat secures to the chair via straps that wrap around the back of the chair and underneath. It is really important to attach the booster to a sturdy chair properly to avoid injury/falls. CLEANING - Super easy and fast. This booster seat cleans very well, and without much effort. I wipe it clean after each feeding and it still looks almost new even six months later. Even the seat straps are clean! I have used numerous different cleaning sprays and even Purell wipes on the booster without issue:) CONS - I love this seat. The only negative thing I can think of is that food slides under the seat fairly easily, but that's probably because we have it strapped to a wooden chair. Although inconvenient, this hasn't been a big deal and I am 100% happy with this product. My son loves this booster too, and gets excited when I tell him to get in his seat!
