Works Well - Prefered Over Chantix and Habitrol

I have quit so many times that I really can't remember how many. At least 9 times. My problem is staying 'quit'. I finally resorted to smoking 3 cigarettes a day in divided doses, and never around others or indoors. I try to cut down more over time. This patch works very well for knocking that miserable "edge" off of withdrawel and for keeping me comfortable when flying or during long, demanding days in public. I tried Chantix on one go-round trying to quit. It helped me reduce the quantity but I didn't make it all the way to totally "quit". I felt horrible on Chantix. It tore up my bowels, I was afraid to leave home, and the flatulence was massive and miserable. I also tried Habitrol along the way. It did not seem as effective as Nicoderm. It also burned, blistered, and scarred my skin. I am sporting a ring-shaped scar from the Habitrol patch. Anyway, for partial or total withdrawal, Nicoderm works very well for me and I have had zero problems with it.

Using it to quit vaping.

I was truly sceptical of the effectiveness of this patch. I read reviews and made the choice to use this to quit vaping. I used to smoke and then switched to vaping, so I have been addicted to nicotine for about 9 years. I was really nervous I couldn’t do it as I was more addicted to my vape than I was smoking cigarettes. I set a date and started the patch. I am now about done with my second week of step one and not vaped since! The urges still come and go but I feel amazing I surprised myself and I’m well on my way to being nicotine free! Side note: I vaped a 12mg and about a 30mil a week and vaped from the point of waking up to the time I went to bed. It was with me constantly it was getting rediculous in my opinion. So if anyone is trying to quit vaping I would highly recommend trying the patch.

Great! Don't sleep w the patch on.

Generic brands didn't work for me. I was just a little over a pack a day smoker for 15 years. This does itch at first once applied, which is normal, and works perfectly throughout the day. You should take this off about an hour or so before going to bed. If you sleep w the patch on, you will have vivid dreams and stir all night. I've been wearing these for the past two months and probably smoked 10 cigarettes total just due to not wearing the patch that particular day while out w friends (bars). LOVE this product!! My habit used to cost $200+\month!! Happy that I'm on my way to saving some money by quitting. A++

Does the job!

Still requires some will power, but with a few changes in routine I can go for long periods of time without thinking about smoking.

Best price, best brand in my opinion...

One of the cheapest places I can find to get these patches! Authentic patches and I find Nicoderm CQ sticks better and "feels" like it lasts longer than other brands. If I know I will be sweaty or risk losing stickiness, I use white "Cover-Roll stretch" by BSN medical (I got the "4 in X 10 yds"), available here on Amazon to make sure the patch stays on -- a cheap solution and works well. The Cover Roll leaves some residue (it's very sticky, and have to pull fairly hard to get off, but still breathable)... so make sure to wash + use alcohol before using the same body area again. I use my upper back above my shoulder blades as there is no hair there (and the white "Cover Roll stretch" usually won't show much there if strategically placed, with a t-shirt covering most if not all)... alternate left/right sides per day. Many of the more generic or other "brand name" patches, I have noticed, just don't have the same oomph + quality as this brand.

1 month smoke free. I did 2 weeks step one and now I will be on step 2. If you have any type of sensitive skin psoriasis eczema etc please note this will break you out in small rash however for me it went away in 3 days. Does not hold well with water aka showering or sweat. Had the patch on through the night and yes everynight I personally had silly vivid dreams, you can take it off before bed and apply a new one. It worked for me!! Quitting was so hard, but I was ready. My success was 60% me, 40% Nicoderm. It only works if you're ready to quit, but I am just a few days out from my 1-year anniversary and I FEEL GREAT!!!!

I am chew free!

These are pricey but worth the money. Helped me kick a 20 year chew habit! The generic brand just doesn't stand up.

I love how this product helps me dealing with not smoking cigarettes! Iam using this patch for 21days now and iam not craving cigarettes ( only happend one time but i managed to just not do it) . Personally i didn't experience any huge side effects , only the first night i keep the patch on while i was sleeping and i got vivid dreams (learned my lesson).
