A zero waste alternative to cotton rounds!

I’ve been trying to be conscious of how much waste I produce. I was looking for alternatives for cotton rounds and these reusable makeup remover pads are just want I needed! They are larger than disposable cotton rounds, about the size of my palm. I use them twice per day. One reusable cotton round can be used for two days. After a month and a half I finally needed to wash them, which was extremely easy because this product comes with a small laundry bag to wash them in! I highly recommend this product!!

Great!

I use cotton rounds every morning and evening to apply my toner. This is the minimum I use every day. Sometimes I use more when I'm taking off nail polish and lots of other reasons. I don't have a trash can by my vanity where I apply my toner and I left them to pile up for a couple days during a very busy week and it was really shocking to see how many I use over time. I began to start researching other alternatives and after going back and forth for a while I decided on these. I love them! They are much larger than I anticipated and work very good for toner. I have not used them for nail polish removal yet but if I end up having a bad experience I will update. If there is no update you can assume I am still loving them for all my cotton round needs!

Great replacement for makeup wipes!

These are nice as a first step to remove my make up! They're like tiny towels and its great that they're reusable. I haven't had a problem with the sliding other reviewers mentioned and I haven't done the first wash so I'm not sure how well the make up comes off. Either way I wouldn't mind if they stain because they aren't for aesthetic purposes. I will still use cotton pads/q-tips for smaller jobs like around my eyes. I even use them with my toner!

Convenient and helpful for dry eye issues

Every day, for my very dry eyes, I need to hold a warm washcloth on my eyelids multiple times per day. Carrying full-sized washcloths to and from work was not at all convenient. I also tried using disposable cotton rounds/squares, but when soaked with water, they were pretty useless. These little bamboo cotton pads are perfect for my dry eye regimen. Wet or dry, I can fit a bunch into a small plastic container and carry them with me. They're just the right size to fully cover an eye, very soft, and lint-free. The included laundry bag is great, too.

Do what they say - enjoyed them so far

I’ve had these for a few weeks, and so far so good! They’ve lasted through about 3 washes. I use a larger mesh bag to wash them since the one they come with is too small for them to have enough room to move around and really get clean. I don’t take off all my makeup with these - I use a balm cleanser for the majority. Then I’ll use these with some micellar water to clean up the rest, or in the morning if I don’t want to wash my face with water. I also use them with my toners and acids, and it’s been fine. I use each one twice - one use per side. I feel better rather compared to blowing through tons of cotton rounds.

Soft, well made & environmentally friendly!

These pads were ordered for me from my Christmas wish list by my husband. They are very well made; the X sewn across the pad is brilliant. The pads are very pretty & soft. They washed beautifully in the provided laundry bag. I did not put mine in the dryer. I use mine with my face wash; soaking the pads in a jar. LOVE this product. I am so happy not to be using disposable face wipes anymore.

Great Alternative

This product is great. I bought for myself and a friend. My friend goes through about a pack of the disposable pads per week and when I saw these I knew they would be perfect for her. (Especially since she likes to be green.) The size per pad is good. The pads are bigger than the disposable ones, big enough that I personally don’t need more than one to take of my makeup at the end of the day. I also think the bag they come in is great for washing them in so that they don’t scatter among my other towels and such in the washer. I would highly recommend to others that want to reduce their impact one the earth and switch to these from the disposable pads.

Save money and the environment

An easy way to reduce our environmental impact by not using disposable cotton pads. My wife and I use these with micellar water when we need a quick solution to cleaning our faces whether we're running out the door for work or it's just been a long day and we want to get to our comfy bed. The bag it comes in is washable which is how you clean these pads. For one or two people, this is a great purchase as it will also save money in the long run.

Obsessed

I've been using these for about 6 months now as replacements for the generic store cotton pads. I went through a kick of trying to be more environmentally friendly. I use them for my micellar cleanser, toner, some face mask applications, cleaning up my eyes with makeup remover, etc. I don't use them to remove nail polish. That stuff's paint, so it would make sense that it wouldn't wash off the pads. I will use them and put the used pads in the handy little bag it comes with. Once I have a bag full, I will toss in the wash with things like towels and cleaning rags. Wash on hot and dirty, and they come out like new. I do appreciate that one side of the pad is more abrasive than the other (but not Brillo pad abrasive) this allows me to use that for minor exfoliation when I feel like it. I bought two sets and that works swimmingly since I don't do laundry frequently (don't judge me, you don't know my struggles).

Great product

I got these because I've been looking for ways to go zero waste and am recently working on self-care products. I was a little unsure about buying these online because it's hard to know what the material is like, but after getting them I like them even more than expected. This is one of the products that doesn't make it feel like any sort of a compromise to reduce waste (which on its own feels great) - they feel better! The material is very nice, feels good on the face, and absorbs appropriately. The fact that I can rinse and re-use the same pad for a day or two and wipe dry with another also makes it all feel very clean. Also, the different colors are more handy than I even thought, because it makes it easy to separate if there are multiple family members using them, or if you want to use a specific color for different things. A very nice little product. Going to give as Christmas gifts to the (choosy) women in my family to slightly raise awareness and just because they're brilliant! Thank you for a nice product..!
