Small but good

This is a nice little kettle, albeit totally dwarfed by the burners on my BlueStar range. That said, it heats up quickly and does a good job of “blooming“ the coffee grounds for my morning cup of coffee. I’ve only had it about a month, so I can’t speak to its durability. I really like the fact that it has a thermometer on top of the lid because it helps me to keep a close eye on the temperature. Ideally, you don’t want boiling water on your coffee grounds. I decided to replace my big, oversized coffee maker with a pour over coffee system, and I’m happy to say that this has worked out great. There are a couple of cons with this small kettle. One, is that it *is* very small. And with the way that it is made, you can expect the occasional boil over through the very thin spout. The other is that if you are a lover of coffee in a mug, this may not be quite enough volume for you. But if you like a cup of coffee – two at the most – I think this kettle will heat enough for you. Don’t plan on this being sufficient to heat enough water for a crowd.

Precise controlled pours from this copper kettle

This arrived on time & functions well. The thermometer is wonderful to have. Just don't over fill the kettle or it will shoot boiling water out of the spout like a rocket. If you really wanted to nit pick you might say the plastic handle doesn't feel all that premium, but it doesn't feel cheap either. This pours very well for my pour over coffees & the consistent temperature keeps my cup tasting the same each time.

cute and functional

For Christmas, I bought my husband a copper stand for pour over coffee, but still needed a kettle. This was a perfect fit as we now have a matching set. Having the built-in thermometer is a great facet of this kettle as well. The handle doesn't get too hot once prime temp. is reached and it fits easily in our hands to create the best pour.

Attractive and Useful

The Opux kettle heats quickly and efficiently. I had read reviews about it boiling over; this only happens if it is overfilled and if you let it reach the boiling point. I generally heat water to about 170-180 degrees for tea. I like the precision of the thermometer that is not available in a standard teakettle. And I love the gleaming copper appearance in my kitchen.

Perfect for what I was looking for!

Very cute design as shown in the picture. The material seems legit stainless steel and doesn’t feel like the cheap light weight material. Classy but sturdy. The thermometer works perfect for that kind of loose tea you’re not supposed to let sink in boiling water otherwise it’d lose its properties. Perfect for what I was looking for!

Love it!

This works great for our pour over coffee and fits with our décor well. The pot is beautifully designed and the thermometer has worked great for us. We have only had for a week but have used multiple times.

Perfect addition to my morning pour over routine

I've used the Melitta pour over method for years. I got interested in the other things that go into a perfect cup such as a controlled pour and temperature along with the right beans and grind. I thought about an electric goose neck kettle, but I decided to go with a simpler, less expensive model. The OPUX is solid, attractive and efficient. The only improvement I could think of is to include a little pamphlet in the box to describe the pour over method for beginners. But that's an easy Google. Down the road I may be in the market for a larger kettle to be able to serve four or more. For now this does the trick and it's perfect for my needs

Works well and is attractive and durable. Not a fantastic bargain but it’s well made and looks nice enough to remain sitting on my stove. The thermometer is super helpful

Beautiful kettle!

Very nice little kettle! The copper finish is beautiful, and it just shines on my stove top. The kettle is good quality and a good deal for the price. I like the thermometer feature.
