I carry my camera gear in a backpack when I travel and this little padded case keeps it safe. It fits neatly into my normal sized backpack with room still for snacks, a sweater, my iPad and other random stuff. And it's easy to retrieve with the small handles. I like that they're short so I don't have a long strap floating around getting caught up in my other stuff. You can see in the picture that the top folds over (it velcros closed) but leaves a small gap on each side. This is why I say it isn't waterproof. Seriously, if you want a waterproof case for your camera get a Pelican. Or I guess you could put this in a dry bag depending on the situation. Anyway, it's great for my use.

For years I've just used inserts like this to turn a normal travel backback into a camera bag, so for my purposes I'm mostly concerned with padding and space. I am able to put a full frame DSLR with lens attached and a spare lens with room for a few batteries and a travel charger with some room left over. The build quality is good and the padding is quite good as well.

I was preparing to travel overseas and I wanted to bring my camera gear but not advertise that I am carrying a camera bag with thousands of $’s of gear with me. So I found this bag insert so I could pack a few pieces of camera gear for a day trip and put it in my backpack. Worked well. Good padding. I would recommend.

I bought this to replace a liner I had been using in my backpack that did not have a handle or top. We travel quite a bit via air and the security protocol regarding removing camera equipment from your carry-on can vary depending on the country you happen to be in. Since we travel with a small carryon and a backpack only, our backpack has to do double duty - carrying flight items and our electronics. I wanted a liner that would : a. fit in my backpack b. be easy to remove from my backpack and replace at security c. hold the camera equipment I wanted to to travel with d. be lightweight, but good quality e. have a top. This liner does all of the above. The material is very nice, appears to be well made. The handle allows me to remove from my backpack and then replace very quickly. It fits perfectly in my Osprey Comet backpack. Most importantly it holds my Canon EOS 80D with a 18-135mm lens attached, a 70-300m zoom lens, with the hoods on both lens, and there is room left to pack a small lens cleaning kit. It has a top on it so I feel comfortable packing lightweight items on top of it. Longevity is the only thing I can't attest to as of yet. I also have not tested the water resistance, but my backpack takes care of that. This product is a liner, meant to be used to add protection for cameras/lenses in a bag strong enough to hold the equipment. It is not meant to be used as a stand alone camera bag.

Great protection and allowed me to carry my Nikon camera on hikes while in Alaska. For the price it worked great.

I took this camera case all over Australia on a recent trip. It held up well, I loved the removable partitions. The material and quality were great. I'm not sure how it'll hold up over time but I love how streamlined it is compared to my normal camera case.

This camera bag insert is a perfect fit for my favorite backpack. It fits a full size DSLR camera along with two lenses. Easy to open and close (no zipper in favor of a Velcro closure) and is well padded with adjustable dividers. I like that the top is also padded so that if I have other items in the backpack, the camera and lenses are still protected. Though the outer fabric may be water resistant, there are still small gaps in the way the lid closes where hard rain or big splashes of water could find their way in. This is my second try for a camera insert and I am very happy with this item and I feel it is a good value for the price.

My husband got this because he doesn't want to lug his camera bag around inside of his backpack. Instead, this insert protects without adding the extra bulk. There's 2 removable insert dividers so you can customize accordingly. My husbands fits his camera, extra lens, and extra battery in this bag. The side pockets hold random cleaning devices and memory cards. Good size for carrying just the essentials.

Great quality insert with adjustable dividers. It fits my Nikon D750, 85mm lens, charger, and SD card holder perfectly.

This is a awesome case for cameras. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a separate camera bag so I wanted to buy something I can put in my backpack for when I need my camera and remove it when not needed and this is perfect!
