The first generation dishwasher packs worked GREAT on glass and stoneware, but left a film on plastic and silicone. Because of the film, I washed all plastic and silicone by hand. As soon as I learned of the third generation dishwasher packs, I ordered immediately. Received the order about an hour and 15 minutes ago. I ensured I had not only glass and stoneware in the dishwasher, but also plastic and silicone. There were pieces with cashew butter on them, there were pieces with grease on them. Point being that I wanted a representative mixture in the dishwasher for the first run. The dishwasher just finished and much to my amazement EVERYTHING is PERFECT. No film, no cashew butter, no grease. Puracy third generation works better than Cascade Platinum and Finish in my 15-year old dishwasher and very hard water. Happy day!

I have tried multiple all natural products. They always left a white film and I assumed it was our water. We would have to dump a large amount of vinegar at the bottom of the dishwasher, or do multiple rinse cycles with vinegar to remove the film. The other detergent would also create a film on any leftover food. This product is amazing. No white film and incredibly clean dishes. Like you can put them in with a little food and they will come out spotless. No more vinegar, extra soaks, etc. This is the only product I’ve found that works and it natural

I ran out of the finish powerball detergent pods on thanksgiving night, and the dishes had to wait 3 days until I’m back in town. When I got back Sunday, I tossed in a Puracy pod and set to heavy duty washed to see how good this new detergent is. I usually use the standard wash, but decided to put it in heavy duty wash since dishes have been sitting for a few days and I only want to wash them once. I was pleasantly surprised the dishes, bowels or utensils were nice and clean. I did notice a couple of plates did have some film/streaks. I didn’t use jet dry, but think I’ll add some to see if that cures the film next time. Otherwise, these pods work as well as the finish powerball brand I was using before. Next week, I’ll go back to regular wash cycle to see if it still cleans as well.

I live in a small community with municipal water. The water is extremely hard. We lived with a softer for over 20 years. I was tired of the salt hassle and inconsistent water quality. We made the leap to a whole house filter and a saltless softening system. Talk about disappointing!! There were horrible white water spots with and without soap. I did some reading and came to the conclusion that 1. it still is a questionable technology and 2. water quality improves over time. It has been approximately 2 months and yes, the water quality is improving. So, to the soap........ immediately after getting rid of the softener I was desperate. Everything, not just the plastic, was not getting clean and had a powdery residue. I experimented with different products and eventually was relatively satisfied with LemiShine. Still had to hand scrub some items after once through a wash cycle. So jump ahead a few weeks. Water quality is better, LemiShine working well enough to restock. LemiShine is EXPENSIVE!! Forever the shopper, I continued scrolling through options and ran across Puracy. After reading the description and the fact it's far cheaper than the competition I decided to give it a try. Wow - I am impressed. Honestly, there is still a couple super faint water spots occasionally. No powdery residue to found and no weird slick residue feel. It's definitely worth a try!

This is their 3rd variation of the dishwasher pods and they finally perfected the formula! These work AMAZING and I have tested it on all kinds of food and dirty dishes. Does not leave any residue, plates are shiny, and literally all the food is gone. I would highly recommend these dishwasher pods and the peace of mind that you are not eating chemicals off your plates from bleach and other crap in your traditional dishwasher detergents.

Best natural dishwasher detergent! It does not leave any residue on our dishes and the machine smells clean after each cycle. Other brands like lemi-shine detergent left powder and did not clean. Seventh generation did not clean our glasses (even with two of those pods smoothie residue in glasses was not cleaned out). This Puracy dishwasher detergent gets our glasses super super clean - no smoothie nor vitamin C powder residue ever! I am so happy to have finally found a product that cleans our dishes and is non-toxic for our family. It rinses cleanly away. No soap taste on utensils nor drink ware. Buy this Puracy product and do not bother purchasing the Eco brand dishwasher gel detergent because the Eco brand will leave your dishes DIRTIER than when they went in, in the dishwasher. It may cost more than other brands but it’s worth it because your health is priceless!

I am in the process of switching our household over to healthful products for my family and the environment— but I don’t like to sacrifice the quality of the job that harsh chemicals do! I was hesitant to try these, but they are true to the other reviews. These absolutely beat out my cascade pods that I have been using for years! I am so impressed with the quality and the price! Can’t wait to keep using more Puracy products.

I use this product for my dishwasher, and I bought it because I want to try something more natural than Cascade. I like it that my dishes do not smell like chemicals after I take them out of the dishwasher. My dishes are as clean as were with Cascade, but I feel that this product is safer to use. 9/27/18 A month later I want to add that I have ordered a second pack and I intend to keep purchasing it if the quality/price do not change. My dishes are shiny clean, and this stuff is less toxic than Cascade. Yes, it's pricier, but I'm willing to pay the price to make sure I don't poison myself with harmful ingredients. 1/25/2019 I reordered 2 packages and I'm totally satisfied with the product.

This product beat Cascade by a long-shot! I thought my new dishwasher was to blame for the gunk in the mugs in the top rack and overall poor cleaning job. I couldn't believe the difference when I opened my dishwasher after the first time I tried Puracy...it was sparkling clean and every item was clean...Yay! As it should be!

Your product, Puracy Natural Dishwasher Detergent, was purchased for our GE dishwasher because a product we'd been using began to leave a grainy substance on all the dishes, glassware and cups after washing. The Puracy does clean the dishes very well. That being said, when using the detergent in the packet, it leaves a sticky substance on the floor of the dishwasher near the door of the dishwasher. Therefore, I remove the powder from the packet to place it into the detergent cup before running the dishwasher. This seems to work well, leaving clean dishes and no sticky "goop". It is a bit unhandy to have to cut open the packet to free the detergent into the cup of the washer, but the product works great otherwise.
