I wanted to buy a mini pc for some streaming purposes for my TV and to make a NASbox because i had some external hard drives lying around. I decided to go with the ACEPC. I've been using this for the past couple of weeks now and i have to say it really is an awesome mini PC. It was able to handle everything my main gaming PC can handle albeit some things were slower but that is to be expected on a ATOM based PC, you can't compare that to a proper i7 gaming PC. Since this is connected to my TV, i also use it to stream games via Steam in-home streaming and it does a wonderful job at that. It has plenty of ports, 4 USB ports, 2 of which are USB 3.0. Ethernet is there, HDMI, VGA port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It even has a micro SD card slot, so you can plug those little cards directly into them. I had my 128 GB card plugged into it and it ran fine. There's a bay at the bottom with screws where a SATA 2.5 inches hard drive can be installed. I didn't open that as i didn't need to install an SSD as i have a 128 GB micro SD card inserted which is doing it for me for now. I will probably expand the storage using an SSD in future. It also comes with a wall mounting bracket thingy, i believe it is VESA mount supported which is pretty cool as it wasn't a necessary thing but they included it anyways. It comes pre-installed with windows 10, there's all features that come with any normal PC has, except this comes in a very small tiny form factor and looks very cool. This has completely replaced my android TV box i had lying around. There's Bluetooth built into it, there is WiFi both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz supported. The design is very quiet since it is a fan-less model, it may run hot if you push it too much but this device is not meant for intense tasks. The emmc that comes installed in this is pretty good and boots up windows nice and quick. This can also be used as a learning tool for kids who want to learn programming. You can install all sorts of programming environments and with it being a windows based mini PC you can do a lot more. Previously i was using Raspberry Pi to do things like that but i think i much prefer using windows based PC. This has almost replaced my Pi too but i still love the Pi way too much. With windows based mini PC you have the advantage of using Microsoft suite and that is a big plus for me as i constantly need to use Microsoft Excel and Word as i have the Microsoft 365 suite. The only thing that's not cool is that the case feels plastic-y in hand. It looks awesome and cool but it doesn't feel like very premium once you hold it. I believe if they put an aluminum based shell it would've been better but at this price point i don't think it's a problem. Overall i love this mini PC and it is exactly what i was looking for when i was searching for mini PC's to put into my living room attached to the main TV. I can stream stuff over network on my TV and i have external hard drives attached to this PC which stream data to my network. So this is my little NAS box at the moment. So currently i am using it for 3 things. It's serving as a streaming device for multimedia to my PC. It's a NAS box serving files over network to my main PC and other devices around the house. It's a Steam in-home streaming device. Definitely recommended.

I need a second computer for leisure purpose (mainly playing youtube, tv series). I decided to try this one after reading reviews. It's light weighted, portable, and easy to set up. I move it around the house and use it with the spare screen monitor to watch videos or listen to music. I like multitasking; using a second PC won't slow down what I do on my working laptop. It meets all my purpose well. This mini PC has four USB ports, which I can connect mouse, keyboard and still have two spare port. It also has a TF slot that I can add space if I need in the future. Only suggestion is that the port of mic is a little close to VGA port, so if I could only use a headphone with regular size port. Or I need to use an HDMI cable to connect with the screen to get around it.

I attached the ACEPC to my 56 inch TV and the local network and am pretty pleased with the combination. It boots quickly and with my addition of an internal drive, it has quite a bit of storage capability. I do not know how well it works as a gaming PC as I am a programmer and use MS Office and other programming languages. Thus, I use it for productivity and not entertainment. However, it has never failed to do what I have needed it to do. I like the ability of having a portable productivity/presentation device that can be plugged in to any wide screen TV.

+Seems to be built decently. The shell is a little on the cheaper side, but it should be sturdy enough to survive a drop or two from a reasonable distance given how light in weight it is. +Comes with 4 USB ports so you don't need to keep switching out USBs for one another because you don't have enough open spots. I looked around at some of the other mini PCs and a lot of them only have 2, which would be an issue for anyone who uses a wired mouse + keyboard and then needs to transfer something to/from a flash drive. +Has a wireless AC compatible adapter. I can't tell you how many mini PCs I've seen that are only compatible up to wireless N, which is a little ridiculous given how long it has been since its original release. So it is nice that this can use the latest dual band wifi. +I really like the drive expansion slot in the bottom of the PC. Since this has only 32 GB of onboard memory, the ability to expand it is crucial if you don't want to be hamstrung and limited in what you can do. +Can do all of the basics such as surfing the internet, streaming content, emailing, doing schoolwork, or even running a server on it. It can also play some games as well, but it is severely limited in that particular area, which shouldn't be a surprise given the price. +Overall it is a good, cheap option for those of you who don't need anything advanced and who are looking for a low priced computer.

I have wanted to get one of these Mini PC’s to have attached to my tv, whenever I need too access the internet or want to stream something that isn’t on my Plex server. And this does just that for me. This device supports 4k output, which is nice, especially when I’m going have it attached to a 4k TV. But these Mini PC’s have many different things you can do with them because it runs a full version of Windows 10. Which If you wanted to you could install Linux and get a little more performance boost. But, it runs Windows 10 pretty good. I decided to go with the 4GB Ram with 64GB SSD. Which if you were wondering, both the Ram and SSD is not removable. So If you wanted you to upgrade you couldn’t. But you can add a standard 2.5 Drive to add more storage to this mini pc. I’m a hardware person, so that is part of the reason why I wanted to take a look at the inside of the device, and I wasn’t expecting anything being replaceable. Not even the WiFi antenna is replaceable. It's soldered to the motherboard which was somewhat surprising. But when it comes to performance, you do get a quad-core processor which is helpful for more intense tasks. But do keep in mind, this device isn’t meant for gaming or intense graphic design. Which some you can do but its very limited. This device is mostly for internet usage, document processing, and streaming from the internet. While you can game and do some graphic design, it will be a little slow at doing so. After using it for about a week now, I haven’t run into any issues while using, it, yes there has been times where the performance has been a little slow during specific processes, but overall, it performs pretty good. So, why would you need one of these? Well, if you need a computer to do small tasks, then this will be a great device to get. If you wanted a more powerful streaming box, then this will do the trick, when it comes to streaming content from the internet or locally. You can use all of your regular Windows applications as you can on a standard computer, including Microsoft Office. Also with the small footprint this computer leaves, you can set it up and forget about it. Overall, I can recommend this Mini PC, to anyone that is needing to do specific tasks, as I mentioned above. But I would suggest getting the 64GB model, over the 32GB model. The build quality is excellent, and even the hardware quality is excellent too. So all around a useful little device.

Now that that is out of the way. I travel frequently for work. My previous set up is i would bring a laptop a tablet and ofcourse my phone. I have not been scheduled to take another trip yet. But i have tested out by doing some personal work. For 100 dollars i didnt have high expectations. I did have a few concerns initially when i got this and incase other people have the same questions I was concern about the heat since it i thought it would get hot due to the small size and everything bunched together. My other concern is with noise. When im working on my spreadsheets i like it a hundred percent quiet which shocked me since i heard no fans this is a pretty good pc but its definitely i would not use this for gaming.

A significant upgrade from an Atom based unit. I use it as a NAS and local station to work on the nearby router and switches, also running Plex server and streaming 4K videos to my 4K projector. It has one 8Tb external drives attached to it. Since this unit takes only a few watts to run and the drives power down when not in use. It makes a great low power server that is always available. it comes with Windows 10 preloaded and will register itself on line automatically (no separate license number needed). Skip the screen asking for a license when you first start up. I upgraded this to Windows pro for easy remote access. You can also use a free copy of Teamviewer to access it from anywhere on the Internet. The internal emmc drive of 64 Gigs is large enough for server duty and is about half the speed of a SATA3 SSD.. There is an option to add an 2.5 inch SSD or regular size 2.5 inch laptop drive. I am very impressed with ACEPC and happily endorse this manufacturer if you are looking for a powerful, versatile, beautifully designed, low power mini PC.

I originally bought this to stream movies to my smart TV, but I have now started using it as my main desktop as the performance is just what I need it and more. To add a 2.5inch SATA drive into the supplied enclosure is a brilliant idea - I have placed an 2TB drive in as my program installation drive. The performance is brilliant for what I need - it handles picture editing software fine and enables me to even do some limited editing. I can't praise this little PC enough, even though it has 32gb of hard drive space, this is easily sorted with an SSD replacement in the hard drive caddy bellow.it's running smooth . This mini PC packs a punch and the blue LED lights give it a nice touch. Even though it's tiny, the processor is pretty astounding. It runs super fast with zero lag and even handles light to moderate gaming. I have it set up with two external 4TB hard drives and it's running great as a media center The 4GB of RAM is more than enough for running Windows 10 and having a bunch of tabs open on Chrome and streaming movies to my Roku with no slowing or freezing. Been using this PC for month, so far not freeze or dead on me yet ! the only wish is to build extra 2 more USB 3.0 will be plus ! Other than that I love it! Will shop another one when I need addition unit.

My uncle was on budget, he asked me to buy a large screen computer for his son to start second grade. with the maximum expense of two hundred to spent. I decided to go with this product, on one side it’s inexpensive and Meet most of basic jobs as a pc. I gave way my old monitor (20 inches) to him and bought him a 15 dollars keyboard and mouse. The whole set is about two hundreds. great! Amazing, it was super quiet( absolute no sound at all) and the speeds was normal. Incredible light weight device and compact in sizes. I believed it could be invisible if this mini pc was mounted to the wall. Matter in facts it includes the wall mounted piece. After the boot up the Windows 10 for him, i realized that the spaces of the hard disk drives was left with very limited of GB. I immediately added a 64 GB of USB flash drives for pump up the storages. 4 USB ports available, but still limited. I am planing to get him an interior 2.5 inches solid state drive pc to add storage to this hard drive. For a second grader, his parent didn’t ask for more. This desktop suitable for their needs and importantly it’s at an affordable prices. I saw him practiced games and completed school tasks online. That it! That is what he needed. overall, i am Satisfied with the product.
