My son has severe autism, loves to dart off in public and does not respond to safety cues. He was easily able to undo other safety tethers which only used velcro, making them useless. He has so far been unable to unlock the clip on this model and it has been a lifesaver for our outings.

Works for us. Used it at Sea World, the mall or anytime I’m alone shopping with my son. He doesn’t complain, it took about 2 trips for him to get used to it. He likes the independence it gives him.

Very pleased with these so far. Holding up better than the last one I bought. There are two things I wish were a little different, but I’m pleased with the product. The adult strap catches a little when I pull it through the strap. And the child’s side fits my son, but he has such small hands that he can actually pull his hand out of it. He is six but more the size of a 4-5 year old.

Bought these for an international trip. Kids are 7 and 5. Tested them at home and they seem to be very good. I like the lock along with the velcro. Fortunately...I never had to use em. The kids were actually listening to me and didn't wander away. But overall...I think if you have younger kids who have tendencies to run off and wander away from you in big crowds... these are great!

Look I understand, no one wants to put their child on a leash. But if this can keep them from bolting out into the street, that's a fair trade off. Don't use when you are walking in the middle of the park, when your full attention is on the child, but when you are exiting the car at the store or street side, alone, and you have to unload your car, this can be a life saver. And I love that this locks! we had not used the lock and my nephew undid the velcro while the child was watching and next time we put it on, the child had it of, pronto. He can't figure out the lock, thank goodness. I would recommend this product.

I have an adventurous 3 year old and a traveling family. This can be a recipe for disaster--or heart attacks for this mama! I've never liked the idea of the harnesses for kids since they remind me too much of leashes (not knocking any parents who use them though, keep those babies safe!). These presented a better alternative that works for me and my toddler. They are well cushioned and do not leave marks on either of our wrists. There is even a locking mechanism on the toddler end so they cannot work themselves out of it. The cord has steel in it so it would be very difficult for it to break or be cut (there are crazy people out there...). These are easy to use and allow my toddler to explore his surroundings when we are out on a trip without getting separated or lost. I recommend these to anyone with a toddler that can walk--and especially one that can RUN.

My son is a VERY strong 5 yr old. He's also autistic and can elope. I bought a similar product in the past for twice the price and loved it. This item comes with 2 different lengths, The "padding" is thinner, (than my orig purchase) it's a "lighter "? Construction of materials... But! My son loves them. (Moreso than he did the $$$ brand)

I have bought a backpack bag with the Leash for my child before, it's working great but every time he needs to carry the little bag, so I want to try something else. Finally found this one, comfortable and well designed. He doesn't even refuse to wear it. Good try.

Picked these up for a couple events that I knew would be crowded. My little boy (almost 3) actually loved them and wants to use them more often than I anticipated. Doesn't bother me as I certainly know where he is when these are on. Personally, the short one is for the really crowded events, like fairs and whatnot, and the longer one is for more casual things like neighborhood walks.

I bought these for my 6 year old and 3 year old for the air port because neither like to hold my hand. I didn’t put it on our wrists I attached them to our backpacks so they felt like they had their freedom and it worked great. They didn’t even care they had it and stayed close by. I didn’t have to worry about them getting left behind or lost. I love that you can lock it. They feel very comfy and nicely made
