Best Kalimba to purchase

I absolutely never write reviews, but I decided to make an exception this one time. I purchased this Kalimba for Xmas to learn how to play. The quality is outstanding and the sound is beyond belief. Even if you cannot play music at all, you would still sound like a pro using this instrument. I highly recommend this model since it simply has a rich full sound.

Great Gift From My Husband

I received this for Christmas after hinting around for one of these!! It is a wonderful instrument. I am having so much fun with it! Well worth the money spent. Just be sure you realize that it is not chromatic (not able to do sharps and flats basically) so your song selection is somewhat limited, but I still have found many songs to enjoy.

Fantastic deal

This is a beautifully crafted kalimba, with all of the accessories this package includes (relay cable + 2 extra male/female jacks, super nice sturdy case, tuning hammer, thumb guards, etc.) this is really worth it! The only complaint I have is that the color in person is different than online. Your screen makes it look much more blue than it is, it's more of a forest green stain, which was a little disappointing since I was looking for one stained the same color as my guitar.

The Kalimba sounds very good.

I like that it is one of the original instruments that was used in the band of earth wind and fire. I also like that I am of the one the first in my city how know how to play this instrument, I use this instrument in a gospel service. I also use this instrument with some R&B bands here in my city, My dislike is I wish I could have bought an Alto, I'm bought two of them. from Amazon. I Tunes one of them to an Alto, the sound is okay but not what I wont, but for the most part it sound ok, nice instruments sound real good.

This is my first kalimba and I'm so glad I went with this one. It is very well crafted, made from solid acacia kao wood and has carbon steel keys. It feels very solid, well put together and looks gorgeous. It comes in a sturdy case and tons of accessories. What I love most about this kalimba is the rich sound it produces. I have had it only for only a few days but I'm having a great time learning all the songs in the instruction manual. Overall, I highly recommend it this kalimba. It's a great value.

sound quality

The first Kalimba I ordered is made of mahogany and is wonderful! I love it so much I wanted one to connect to an amp and chose this one. It is made a acacia koa wood, and I don't know if that makes a difference in sound quality but this resonates so much better, and when I plug it in, oh my goodness what a sound! It carries on the air waves and floats like a dream. The quality is everything I hoped it would be, the grain of the wood deep and rich. The case is sturdy and it cannot get damaged in it. Well done!!
