I have previously owned smatree battery packs for my Xbox that were on their last breath as I’m a heavy user. I picked these up to replace the last set and I am not disappointed. Smatree products have a high quality build at a fraction of the price you’ll find at Best Buy or other name brand retailers. The box comes with two battery packs, two battery housing covers, the charging stand, and charging cable. Setup is super easy. You pop out your old batteries and put in the new Smatree ones with the Smatree battery housing. After that, plug in the charging dock and you’re ready to go. It’s simple to know when you’re batteries are fully charged because the charging dock has lights on it that are red when charging and green when fully charged so you’ll always know. I have noticed that the batteries last over 24 hours of gameplay and it’s super easy to charge right back up when you’re done playing so you know you’ll always have a full charge. Plus, if your batteries do die, there is another controller already charging so you can just grab it and turn it on to jump right back in the action. I would 100% recommend every product Smatree makes.

I received these batteries and charging station about a week ago and they seem to be working very well. Just like most batteries I've used, I would recommend charging the controllers completely and then using them until they are fully discharged before fully charging them again. Testing a complete charge lasted over 8 hours of continuous use before needing placed on the dock. Definitely happy with this purchase.

It’s pretty lame Microsoft doesn’t have a battery built in to their controllers. It ends up being a waste of money for the consumer and is terrible for the environment. I bought a new controller and was going through 4x AA’s a week Enough was enough and I picked up this unit. What an awesome idea! You just swap out the cover plate on your controller for these battery packs. The. When you’re done gaming you set it on the stand it’ll be charged by your next session. The dock also looks a lot better than scattered controllers on your TV stand If I wanted to I could probably get 2-3 days between charges from the battery packs but it’s so easy to charge them that you’ll likely never have to worry about it. It also keeps a second controller fully charged so if you have a friend over you won’t have to scramble for batteries If you haven’t already I highly suggest you pick up this unit or any rechargeable solution really. You’ll save money and help the environment at the same time. The unit will likely pay for itself within 3-4 months in battery savings alone

I bought two of these because I added some new controllers and have been very unhappy with my last Xbox wireless controller charger/battery kit. This one is a superior design, as the controllers lay flat on it instead of balanced on their tip. I got them this evening, and put them on the chargers. They've been charging for about four hours now and haven't reached full charge yet, but I had plenty of charge in one controller that is attached to my gaming PC for it to work and let me play games for a couple of hours tonight. I expect they'll be fully charged by morning, and as long as I top them off overnight every night will be fully ready to go the next morning again. I would have preferred they come with a charger brick, but I had a spare Samsung one floating around so that'll work.

Loving these so far, When I upgraded my old PC 360 controllers to the XBOX One versions I was unprepared for how many more batteries they consume! Every three hours or so I was swapping out rechargeable batteries. That's why I am SO glad these batteries have such a HUGE capacity, 2000 mAh is great! I have only used the batteries and dock for 2 days and have played for 8 hours off this weekend and it's still going strong. The charging base is also very attractive

I've wanted a controller charging station for awhile and have always debated between a charging station and rechargeable AAs. After years of use, my AAs just won't hold their charge like they used to and I got tired of them dying during an intense gaming session then having to struggle to replace them. This charging dock solves that issue as the controllers just live in the charger and are always full when I grab them to game. The battery packs are great coming in at 2600 mAh each. When I tested them out after fully charging I was able to get a sold two days out of each pack before needing to recharge it. The instructions make a big deal out of putting the battery pack in the correct way, but honestly they have the usual + and - signs, so its pretty hard to mess up. Another pro is that the cradle charges via a USB cord, initially I was disappointed as I would need an adaptor to plug it into a wall but then I realized my Xbox one has USB ports so I just plugged it in there and it works great. Overall if you are looking for a charging cradle you won't go wrong with this one.

Great low profile base for a good price. The controllers seat really well, though they do need an extra nudge every once in a while. The batteries hold their charge and have plenty of capacity (just did a 12 hr gaming marathon and still had plenty of charge left). I only have one minor complaint, the battery covers needed to be de burred. But a couple seconds trimming them isnt really a big deal, so not worth taking a star of in my opinion.

I bought three of these for the kids to use (they each have their own controllers) and they are working great 3/4 of a year later. These really hold up well and last. We charge them at night while everyone is sleeping, and it's reduced the broken/lost controller issue we used to have because they want the batteries to be fresh in the morning when they get up. :) We've got ages ranging from four to fourteen on the kids using them. These batteries stay in and aren't even a thought. They come with covers for the controller and they hold securely, not even falling apart when controllers are dropped.

This is a welcome change from everything I’ve tried before. To be specific: I was given a cheaper charging station with battery packs that never held much of a charge. Tried that and the usage time was so short it was useless. Tried rechargeable AA batteries which never lasted very long - even Eneloop batteries which I had seen recommended. Regular batteries - just gave up and did that for a while and it’s fine but if you have more than one person gaming often and also use your controller as your remote you run through tons of them in no time, they cost a lot, and you’re contributing more chemicals to landfills. Haven’t had any major problem with it after 5 months. I can’t say exactly how long a charge lasts because we have 2 controllers and usually 1 sits charging while the other is in use. I think we probably get about 3-4 hours of solid use per charge. The only criticism I have is that when putting the controllers on the base it’s a little tricky to get them in the right spot. You get used to it though and the status LED is right there on top and easy to see, so you know if it’s set correctly or not.

Such a great purchase! We have an XBOX One S that we use for all of our gaming, music and TV/video needs. We are constantly losing the backs to our controllers and needing to change our batteries (which are NOT CHEAP). I was already planning to purchase this when it was $25, so when it dropped to under $10 I scooped it up! The initial charge up took a while, but now my controllers have BACKS and are remaining charged for three weeks at this point! We were changing AAs at least once a week prior. Highly recommended!
