BUY IT. Your cats will love it
I have bought a similar product in the past but THIS is the BEST. Our cats love it! The blue light gives it a little extra attraction for them. The feather part screws into place which is a great feature. One of our cats have figured out how to "catch" the feather and will run, dragging this entire toy across the floor. Because the feather screws in, she can't dislodge it from the devise. It's made sturdy and puuurrrfect for our active cats.

A habit forming toy
The 7-year old 'senior' expects me to turn it on every morning to greet the day. It took a couple of days for him to analyze it: he found that when he caught the feathers he couldn't carry the unit off (too heavy). It may be flipped over during his tussles but still working. NOW I recommend that the company provide a remote control to turn it on again (and again).

Best Cat Toy
My cat absolutely loves this toy! He can’t wait until we take it out to play with. We’ve purchased so many cat toys that the cats aren’t interested in. Not the case with this Pet Fusion prospect. Cat fun all day long!

Awesome toy-not just for cats!
I got this cat toy -obviously for my cats. They love it! BUT it has an unexpected side effect that has been very helpful. My young dog was diagnosed with heart worms and with the treatment, this hyperactive dog has to be kept quiet and calm for the duration and recovery- up to six months. She immediately focused on this toy and will play with it -without being active - for hours. She loves it as much as the cats do. While it occupies her and keeps her activity level way down, it's also teaching her to focus - which is a huge training tool. While my dog does grab at the feathers she has not been able to tear them or damage the toy in any way. It's very sturdy and doesn't slide for the cats so they can entertain themselves by pouncing on it. It does move for the dog- but only because she's pushing it with her nose to get the feathers. I highly recommend this toy for whatever pet you have at home that can be fascinated by it's quick, random moving and brightly colored feathers . It does have a moderate humming noise but it's tolerable while you're being entertained by watching your pets playing with it.

Absolutely Enthralled
Only thing I wish it cane with is a remote. Elfie can't keep herself from it!. I have to keep pushing the button to turn it on. I'm also realizing I'm going to invest in AA batteries. Elfie is a ferrell cat I'm trying to befriend. She loves toys that make noise. She doesn't run and hide when I bend down to turn it back on. The automatic shut off is a good thing. It is sterdily made. Batteries come with it yet I can see them running down already. Had it going constantly for 2 hours. If you are going to spend money on a toy for your purrrrkid, this is a wise choice!!!

Cat loves it! Turns itself off after a while (good)
I bought this toy because my singleton kitty, who used to get tons of my time, is now home alone 10-12 hours a day on weekdays, and she was BORED and under-stimulated. This toy has not completely solved the issue, but it is already a HUGE help. I can turn the toy on for her while I’m unwinding or in the shower or otherwise not able to play with her myself just yet. I was worried about the batteries running out, but it seems to turn itself off after 10 minutes or so, which is great. I was able to duck out for work this morning while she was playing The feathers do not have a hard core or seem at all likely to hurt her little nose or eye as she investigates the holes. The feather changes pattern and direction frequently, and even varies the length of time before it appears. A blue light lets me know whether the device is on It IS noisy. It sounds like— well, like an automated toy. But if it annoys you, you can just push the top button to turn it right off. This is another reason the automatic shut off is helpful. My baby loves it so much she sits by it and cries sometimes, begging me to turn it on. And I love that she can be interactively entertained while I am wrapping up emails or cooking dinner, making her much more ready for cuddles when I’m finally ready to relax

Cats Love It!
We had purchased a similar item previously that we had determined was too noisy for the cats' liking so I was hesitant to try this new product but it had good reviews so I took a chance and was so glad I did as the cats love it! Whenever I'm trying to get some work done at the desk and bored cats come looking for attention, I just turn it on and they flock to it. The nighttime feature is really cool, too, as you can really see the blue glow. The cats like the feather's movement and variety in coming out of several different spots on the toy. Definitely a favorite in our house of 5 cats.

Well, they're not NOT interested
So, *I* think this thing is really well-made, and it's totally great. The cats... well, they aren't kittens anymore (they're 7) so it's not like they're all over it, but whenever I turn it on in the living room, they both come trotting out from wherever they had been lounging and WATCH it, sometimes they're swat/ bite/ bat at it, but they might also sit there and STARE at it. Whatever makes them happy is fine by me, and I think it does. It came with a second feather attachment, and the batteries. I didn't expect it to make quite so much noise, but it's not a dealbreaker. Just know that you definitely hear the mechanics inside while it's running.

A Hit with Our Cat!
It certainly lives up to its name...our cat was anxiously watching the holes for the feather to pop out. He was actually able to grab it one time before it quickly retracted. Certainly held our cat's attention - it shut off once or twice thanks to the auto shut-off feature and we had to turn it on again, because he kept looking for the feather! Would recommend to other cat owners! Update a month later: Still a huge hit with the cat! From the minute it is turned on and he hears the sound, he is totally engrossed! Highly recommend!
