I am going to give a rambling review that will eventually get to the point. The product came in a HUGE box, and I opened the door to find the mailman who did NOT deliver it, fighting the big box for supremacy of my front porch. Poor guy wanted to deliver a small package and get a signature, and the HUGE box was taking up a lot of the porch. I am guessing that the UPS delivery guy for the HUGE box climbed the stairs like a cat and left the package without knocking, as usual. One day I will catch him and say hi. I think UPS drivers must be very shy. The mailman, when I opened the door, was slightly embarrassed at being caught grappling with the HUGE box, and said "There is a really BIG box here." He was holding a little box, but I saw the HUGE box beside him and understood. I was amazed at the HUGE box and agreed. I griped about UPS men with cat feet, and the nice mailman did not comment. I think he was scared of the box which may have been winning the battle before I interrupted. But back to the HUGE box and the mat... The mat is 32 inches on its longest side, and the box was easily four feet tall and the mat was on the bottom of the box. On top of it was a LOT of brown paper, ALL IN ONE PIECE! I opened the box, wondering what I had bought that was the size of a ten-year old child (which I am pretty sure I did not order, because that would be illegal, and they eat a lot anyway. Children, that is). The paper was in one piece and I pulled and pulled and felt like one of those magicians with the silk scarves. About every 12 feet of paper, I would tear it and put it in a bag for the dumpster, get another bag... Three bags total! Inside was the mat and a note that said I have to leave a review because someone named Amanda Hamilton will set in motion events that will change the course of history, if only the review is glowing. So... Amanda? This is a glowing review, or will be as soon as I get through the PAPER TRAUMA, so click or whatever. Change the course of history. Now. Is anyone still reading this? OK, fine. I will now review the mat. It really is a good mat. My feet hurt a lot and I stood on the mat in the kitchen and sighed happily. It was more costly than the other mats, but it really might change the course of my history but making me happy for short periods of time. It is thick and heavy and does not slide around. It is a good mat. And I do not hold it personally responsible for the HUGE box of paper that killed at least one tree. I would have loved a few different colors to match my kitchen, but I got the black and it looks nice beside my black dishwasher door. I like the mat.

Just received but haven't received my stand up desk yet, so I have not had a chance to put it to the test. It's not as squishy as I thought it would be, but it feels nice and I imagine it will have positive effects on standing for long periods of time. The main purpose of my review is to comment on the color. I ordered the blue and expected it to be deep and vibrant like the picture portrays it. However, It's much more modest in color. It's a very dark blue/grey, which I think makes it look very professional and blending with any environment, especially the office.

AMANDA! We have had GelPro mats in our kitchen for a few years and recently the edges started curling up creating a trip hazard. Apparently this is a common problem. Disappointed we looked for a replacement and found the Oasis mat which less than a third of the price of the GelPro for a substantially larger mat. The Oasis mat is manufactured to a very high standard using high quality materials, looks fabulous, and arrived within two days at no charge. The mat does not have an edge that can curl, rather it is beveled so curling will not be a problem in the future. I also like the fact that the manufacturer (Sky Solutions USA) has fabulous customer service and a great sense of humor! Buy one today (and in Amanda's case, save the world in the process!).

I put this mat in the kitchen in front of the sink. My feet always ache on the hard tile floor when I use the sink. This mat is great, it is very soft and spongy, but my feet don’t sink down into it. It made a huge difference, my feet feel much better. It is soft yet firm enough that I don’t feel like it will trip me or that I’ll sink into it and my foot will stick. Tapered edges help transition from the floor onto the pad. Am going to buy another. Highly recommend for achy feet

I'm a Pizzaman/Cook & have bad legs but your Mat brings sheer comfort to my 68 year old legs. Big Thanks & God Bless!!

They were exactly as describes. Perfect depth to the mats, very supportive. I haven't had to clean them since I just got them; however, I would imagine they would be easy to clean

Had this mat for 6 mths and it still looks like I just brought it yesterday worth every penny. When I stand at the sink my legs dont feel tired or anything I can stand there for a long time without feeling like I want to sit down

Eureka! Solution to mat creeping on carpet. After frustratingly trying everything imaginable ( double sided tape, blocking with furniture, plastic chair mats etc etc) to halt the march of this mat ,I finally hit upon the ultimate solution. Simple .. easy but.. effective . The reason the mat moves is because the nap on the carpet leans in one direction the mat is flattening thousands of individual fibers which are pushing back causing a lever effect strong enough to propel the mat and the person on it in the opposite direction. The solution is to get a piece of the same carpet the size of the mat and place it upside down so that nap direction is opposite the wall to wall carpet. This cancels the lever effect and the mat stays in place.

What a pleasant surprise! I ordered two of these mats after first doing some research. Then with that information in hand I got online and began to search for THE anti-fatigue mat. I am an LOL ("Little Old Lady") and need the extra padding in the area in which I cook. The mat I replaced was fairly thin and, even tho I bought it as an anti-fatigue mat it turned out to be anything but. Eventually, the edges began to turn up, which caused a stumbling hazard. Not good! When my new mats arrived I was very surprised that the box was so light. However, after placing them in my kitchen and walking on them for several days, I can say I am extremely happy with my purchase. The edges are tapered and I don't see them curling up. I ordered them in burgundy/red and they look so nice. They are 3/4" thick and really feel good on my feet and legs. One other plus is that they are so much lighter in weight than the mat I am replacing so moving them for cleaning will be easier. All in all, I feel I made a good decision to order these mats.

After all the awesome reviews I felt confident ordering this mat for our kitchen. It turned out to be everything other reviewers raved about. It stays in place. It's easy to clean with a slightly damp rag and dries quickly; sometimes I have to use a dry nailbrush to get move grit, sugar, etc., from the texture, but that, too, requires very little pressure. I have the dark blue version and find that it doesn't attract lint or dust, and the sugar, grit, etc, that falls from the counter and lodges in the surface texture is easy to remove with a light swipe of a dry nailbrush. I am very impressed with the company's customer service as well. The first mat arrived loosely folded and secured with tape. I packaged it right up again and ran it over to the UPS store that very hour. I then notified the company directly about it, worried I'd get stuck in an endless loop of ordering/returning; they suggested I reorder and let them know how that worked out, because if it didn't work this time they'd send me one right from their factory. I waited a few days to give time for my packaging feedback to enter the Amazon system and ordered it again, and this time it arrived flat and was well worth waiting for.
