Great haakaa

Love this haakaa, the stopper is so cute and super useful, it really keeps the milk from leaking out. This came with the haakaa, a lid, a stopper and a super cute drawstring bag for storage. You just need warm soapy water to clean before and after use. Haakaas are great to use while nursing on the breast you are not feeding on. They are also small and great for just tossing into your diaper bag. Once you see how easy it is to use your will not want to be without it.

Just like the Haaka

I love love this product, so easy to use, is gonna be great for when Im traveling in the car, or at home when nursing my baby. Also very easy to pour milk from this pump into bottles and bags (to be safe and not to loose any of my gold, I use a funnel.) I'd highly recommend this to any mama. Im gonna be buying more. This to me is just like the Hakka.

Essential for breastfeeding moms

I was lucky to have someone tell me about this silicone breast pump which has been super helpful in allowing me to store breast milk in preparation for back-to-work. I place it on my free breast when nursing on the other one and it collects milk that would otherwise leak/be wasted ("let down"). I have two, I use one during one baby's early morning feedings and then pop it on the other side with the next feeding. I'm usually able to get 4-5 oz per day doing this and am so glad I don't need to use my electric pump/wash all the parts, etc just yet. I use it during the early morning feeds because that's when there's more milk/breast milk producing hormones are highest. Hope this helps any other breast feeding mamas!

Must have for breastfeeding momma's!!

I wish I would have had this with my other 2 kids! I always hated losing the precious milk from a let down while nursing. This makes catching that milk easy! I was able to collect over 1,000 oz by the time my son was 12 weeks old and I didn't get this until he was 8 days old. If I could improve on it I would have 2 sizes. The size it currently comes in and a larger one too. There were times I'd have to dump it and put it back on! Also if they had something to go around the "catcher" and put it around your neck so that if it breaks suction (which it will, ☹️) you won't spill all that precious liquid gold! Beyond that this product is AMAZING and it will be my go to baby shower gift!

Best breastfeeding accessory on the market!

Breastfeeding mamas, please get this! I purchased this as a recommendation from a friend who also used a similar version of this. It is so easy to use! I wish I would have purchased this with my first and second baby! It has made such a huge difference! I will place the pump on the opposite side of the breast that I'm either feeding off of, or using my Spectra electric pump. I always use it in "pump" form, where it is suctioned in on storage part. It has never been knocked off by my little guy, and he loves to kick at it. I am able to discreetly use this too! It fits perfectly under my nursing cover and other clothing items like a sweatshirt or zip up jacket. I love that it comes with the stopper and adorable bag. My only wish is that it would have a more supportive base. It falls over very easiler when placed on a counter or table. I firmly believe that I would not be able to have any milk stored in the freezer without this amazing product.

Easy to use; easy to clean

This little pump is awesome. I have a 1 month old and I started using this a few days ago to try to start a freezer stash. I pump one side while the baby nurses on the other, and I’m getting 2-3+ounces each time. It’s so much easier to clean than an electric pump, and it takes less time away from the baby. I’m seriously considering buying a second one for when I’m eventually away from the baby.

Worth every penny!!

I don't respond to regular pumps at all plus I'd rather be killed than pump. I still want to build a little freezer stash so I ordered this as a last resort because I heard such great things. It works! I get 2-3 oz from my overachiever and about .5 oz from my slacker. With electric pumps, I *might* get .5 oz from my good side and I never got anything from the slacker. Unexpected but amazing: my supply has increased since I started using this. I use the pump and then when my son finishes nursing I hand express into the pump, just whatever I can get until my hand gets tired. My son is 5 months old and I'm actually getting engorged like I did when he was first born. This is my new go-to baby shower present for all time! This could have saved me so much fruitless pumping with my first 6 kids. Seriously, buy this!

All about technique

I LOVE THIS THING!!!!! Needless to say it looked to simple to actually be affective. I was pleasantly suprised... once I got it figured out. The first time I tried I didnt get anything. I really didnt have the time at that moment to sit there and play with it. However, once I took the time to figure it out i found it works like a charm. I read a lot of positive and negative reviews, and in response to that I would say it really is all about technique. While it will occationally keep a flow going once you get letdown and you can basically sit there while it does its thing... it does not always work exactly like that. I found it is more helpfull to think of it as a hand expression aid. It is a perfect little container for catching the milk and pouring into a container. And it does work best if you use a combination of light pumping and boob massage/ squeeze out motion to keep the flow going. Also, keep in mind you will only be able to express about the amount your boob is used to making at any one time for your baby. If she is still very small boobs will only make about an ounce and a half or 2.... dont expect the gadget to be able to pump out 6oz for you. Once you get a nice steady flow, (you may have to restart it a few times), and then it stops and you cant get it going again, your boob is done. That hasnt got anything to do with the effectivness of the device. Also found it to be of good quality. I was afraid of getting a cheap chinese knockoff... i was having a hard time figuring out which brand was the original or legit. This one seems to be good. IT DOES NOT HURT IF I USE IT RIGHT! A few times it felt a little uncomfortable it just needed to be repositioned. All of that said I dont actually need to pump a lot. I am stuborn enough to choose to be a stay at home mommy even if we are living in a trailer. I only need a little to hydrate her baby cereal as she is just begining to eat solids.

Get it!

I love my bumblebee! It’s way cheaper than the haakaa and just as effective. I have twins. One is exclusively breastfed and the othe drinks expressed milk. This has help my bottle fed baby so much! He was about 1/2 formula fed, but with this, he hardly has to drink formula! I get about 1-2 oz every feed, which is about an extra 12-20 oz a day. Just bought a second one bc sometimes I don’t get the time to clean it between feeds and miss out on milk.

Great product

I'm super excited about this product. With some of the challenges I'm facing with feeding my baby this has allowed me to get the most out of the milk I'm producing in the hopes to keep my production up. I was impressed on how well it works. While feeding on one side I place it on the other. In one feeding I was able to extract a full ounce. The other evening I extracted 80ml for both sides combined. I'm not real impressed with the lid but the stopper seems to work ok.
