Throw away your old wire terminal kit!

Frankly, I didn't even know these existed. But, as I was looking for a new set, to replace one that was running short on some sizes and types, I ran across this set with HEAT SHRINK TUBING on the ends. So, now, I can seal around the connector, protecting the copper wire, without using spray sealer or electrical tape. Just apply a little heat, and WA LA! No more corrosion between the cable and the terminal! I'm very happy with this kit, especially for all of the accessory wiring on my motorcycle. Highly recommended!

Good shrink tube

Really nice set here. I’m a professional mechanic and these are every bit as good or better then some of the “professional grade” items we use at work. Shrink tube is very hard making it difficult to puncture while crimping and even if you do it still shrinks up nice.

A complete kit.

Arrived just in time, last week I took possession of a new SUV and was starting to install my two-meter ham radio. This means many different wire gauges to control the power, turn off with the ignition, etc. This was a really complete kit both for wire gauge and terminal type, so complete I didn't have to make a trip to the big-box store to pick up the odd pieces. The terminals fit my crimper and closed completely without any problems with the insulation. None of the wire came loose if tugged. As for the heat shrink, it seemed to work fine using a medium wattage [Harbor Freight] heat gun. None of this wiring is exposed to the elements, so the heat shrink is not really necessary. There are plenty of terminals in this kit and much less cost than the blister packs.

Higher quality than expected!

I installed 2 Hella Sharptones onto my Subaru Outback and the "harness" for the horns cost $30-40. That's absurd. I decided to make my own harness and it couldn't be any easier. All I had to do was strip some wires, stick them into these connectors, and heat them up with a blow dryer or heat gun. The heatshrink contains a bit of heat-activated glue in them, so when it shrinks, not only does it grab onto the wires tightly, the connector becomes very secure and becomes part of the wire. These are more than what I expected from a no-name brand, will buy again when I run out of connectors.

Amazing connectors

I have used their joint connectors and was blown away by this product. Rarely do you find a product that exceeds my expectations but these do. They come with a heat shrink cover and have a glue coating on the inside that totally seal your connection and add to the strength of the connection. This will also make you connection water tight. Great price for the numbers and different sizes you get.

Good connectors

Time will tell if they stand up, but they were simple to use and performed as advertised. Note: I couldn't get a hair dryer to heat them enough to shrink the ends. Had to use a lighter. Very simple with a candle lighter. Heat gun probably would work fine.
