  • Gold Silver Copper Casting bowl

I found out quite a while ago to season, or glaze a new crucible before use. There are many videos on the internet to show this process. The first cup has worked perfectly many times, no complaints, haven't used the second one yet but would expect the same. Heat slowly for best success.

Perfect for melting smaller amounts if precious metals. Make sure you glaze it before using.

Using to heat treat glass to 600-700C in a box furnace. I pull the Crucible out at that temp, dump the glass, and set the crucible on a stainless plate with no issues thus far.

I love these melting dishes for all types of Metals surprisingly study and incredible heat tolerance i glaze some of them with borax for a non stick surface

Tough little crucible. Has some rough edges but they're easily filed down. Held up under repeated firings with MAPP gas.

Works great for a cheap little melting dish.. I cast small gold bars with this often Ive bought 3 with no issues.. usually get about 6 or so uses out of mine before the get kind of brittle.

It's small and easily handled by forceps

It is a little on the small side, so be wary of that. Otherwise, it is just as high quality as any other ceramic dish.

my wife cannot attest to the sheerness but she is happy with her new cermaic dish cup bowl furnance

I don’t know about Warmth, High Temperatures I wouldn’t Recommend Anybody hit that point of Reach with its thickness. I bought it 2 it held its grounds
