• Efficient and intelligent: Fast cleaning, no random bumping. A dual-gyro system, and motion tracking sensors create a high-efficiency cleaning path for every room. Thirteen onboard sensors provide drop avoidance, anti-collision, trap prevention, self-charging and resumption.
  • Thorough cleaning: 1800Pa of intense suction picks up dust, crumbs, and other dirt. A super-sized dustbin needs to be emptied only occasionally.
  • Vacuum and mop: Choose to just vacuum, or vacuum and mop your home at the same time for a complete clean. Water is sucked naturally into the mop as it cleans, eliminating puddling.
  • Auto carpet Boost and resumption: E20 robotic vacuum cleaner automatically identifies carpets and switches to maximum suction. If it runs low on power it returns to recharge then resumes where it left off.
  • App control: Use the Mi Home app to start, stop, schedule, customize, charge, Spot Clean, check accessory status, and control movement direction. 2.4GHz Wi-Fi required, compatible with Android, IOS, and Alexa. Authentic ROBOROCK TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD products enjoy a 1-year warranty.

Just bought it so may come back if I feel otherwise. The robot is great. It has good suction. In the first run it made a lot of difference to our hardwood floor and our carpet in the living room. I haven't used it in the bedrooms where we have carpets but I have faith in the powerful vacuum suction this device has. Great buy. I had been waiting to buy a robot for a long time but I feel this is the right fit for me. Update after 2 weeks of use: Used the robot in different settings - carpet mode for the bedrooms and mopping mode for the hardwood floors. It does a pretty good job. I can't believe how much dirt it picked from the carpets. I am very impressed with the mopping function too, it cover about 80m2 area with very little battery usage. My only complaint is that I am unable to see the map after it cleans. Not sure if other people have had similar issues with map.

I bought another robot vacuum and it broke within a month. I bought this one as a replacement. I love the slim design. It is very functional and does exactly what I need it to do - sweep up the pet hair. You have to manually turn it on and off (unlike others that you can program) but that's ok. This is a really good product and I highly recommend. I don't know why I didn't buy one of these earlier.

This vacuum is an amazing beast. If you have open straight-lines with no objects in between two walls, it speeds through those areas very efficiently and in the optimum manner. It dances around objects and obstacles and goes around them to clean. It is fascinating to watch it while it does its job in rather crowded obstructed spaces. I was greatly impressed by its ability to wiggle itself in tiny spaces to clean those areas, and then come out unscathed (that, I thought, wasn't possible for a mere machine!). I had some issues in making the Android App work but support team from Roborock responded in minutes and offering to set up a private call for support (see Q&A on how to set up Mobile App & Wi-Fi Password on the Unit). 5 stars to them. What else can you expect from a few hundred dollar machine? What I like about this vacuum are: - Excellent Cleaning Power Both on Floor and Carpets - Automatic Powerboost Mode on Carpet - Very low noise that is barely noticeable. Excellent here too. - Power and Resume Feature to cover bigger areas in a large house - Cleans and Docks perfectly (most of the times) - Mop attachment (that I have yet to use). Versatility! - Very Easy to Operate and Clean - Extra accessories supplied (filter and cleaner brushes). Very thoughtful. Awesome! - Mobile App that builds and shows the map of the area cleaned. Superb. - Covers big cleaning areas without any problem. Great Battery life! - Voice Prompts & push notifications when starts cleaning and ends cleaning I don't know about reliability part yet, but feature and performance wise this an excellent machine. Cons and Improvements Needed Of course, this is not perfect by all means. This being a mid price model, there are certain missing features that you need to be aware of. - Battery life is enough for about 1000-1200 sq feet floor, but unit needs recharging for larger floor areas or carpeted area where it spends a lot more energy with carpet boost. It does mostly return back from the base to re-do remaining area, but the behavior I found is not consistent specially if for some reason unit failed to return to the base and lost the map or sensors were not clean etc. If you have a lot more area to handle, you may like to buy a vacuum with a larger battery or one which is more modern camera imaging. - The unit like all other vacuums will not vacuum dark black or very dark colored carpets or carpets with dark blue or black borders. This is because sensors interpret non-reflection of light as "stairs" to avoid falling. I wish there was a way to disable those sensors when it is ground level and then warn before starting the robot. - Mopping Feature is hard to use if you have a mixed floor with lots of rugs. Since there is no way to stop it from mopping on rugs without attaching magnetic boundary line markers to stop it going on those areas. - Mobile App is good for starting and stopping the vacuum, seeing the areas covered in map, and getting alerts. I wish there was a way to create virtual boundaries and restrict to certain area of the floor only. Only way to do that is by putting obstacles or magnetic tapes to block is from going to certain areas. If you need these features, you may be better of with the higher model. I would definitely recommend it. Just buy it and you will be happy.

I tried another robot vacuum just prior to this one and am promptly returning it after seeing what a good job this one does! It vacuums in straight lines, ensuring it doesn't miss a spot! Sometimes it looks as though it's forgetting an area but just let it keep going and it will get there! It has a "carpet boost mode" for when it detects carpet it will use maximum suction, but of course the battery will run out faster, in my case 60 minutes instead of 90 with regular mode. However, even if it runs out, it goes to the charging base, and once it's charged again it will go back and finish the job!!!! You have to add this feature, it's under DND, you have to disable it for it to do this. Also, it's a little bit louder in carpet boost mode, just fyi. I love it, I am very happy I purchased it.

We've had the Robovac E20 for about a week now and have used it several times, in vacuum and in mop mode and so far we are very happy with it. In vacuum mode it took the unit 98 minutes to vacuum our 1600 sq ft home. A couple of things of note. First, this unit does not work with Alexa or Google Home. I tried for a couple of hours to no avail. I enabled the Mi Home skill and added the vacuum but nothing happened. I called Roborock after searching Google for a phone number for U.S. support. I called twice because the first person I talked to didn't explain things well and I had a hard time believing what he was telling me but when I called back I got the same answer. I was told that the Roborock does not work with Alexa or Google because these units have not been officially released in the U.S. The plan is to release them later this year and at that time they will work with Alexa and Google. The representative did suggest that I change the region in the Mi Home app (the app for Roborock) to the China server. I did that but the server could tell I wasn't in China so that didn't work and I had to switch back to the U.S. server. Anyway, I asked how I could buy one of these units on Amazon if they have not been officially released in the U.S. yet and I was told that the vendor must have purchased these units in Europe or Asia or another region and is selling them in the U.S. Not a showstopper because the vacuum still works fine and it speaks to me in English. I just wasted a couple of hours trying to connect it to Alexa and Google because the product information on the site says the vacuum works with those. It does not so don't waste your time trying to do it. I did read about some complex work arounds to get the Roborock to work with Alexa but it was way more than I wanted to get into because it involved getting into the code of the app. I'm fairly computer and tech savvy but not that savvy and like I said, the unit works fine with the app so it's not a huge deal. The second thing is the mop function. As one reviewer stated, it works better if you dampen the mop attachment completely before you send the unit to mop your floor. Otherwise it takes a while for the mop head to get damp from the tiny squirts of water that come through the water tank. I just took my hand and cupped water in it and then spread it on the mop head a couple of times until it was damp. Not soaking wet, just damp, and it worked fine. Another thing with the mop function is that the unit cannot distinguish between carpet and hard flooring when it is in the mop mode, so if you have a carpeted area or rugs, make sure you take up the rugs and block off the carpeted area before you start the unit to do the mopping. Our house has all tile flooring so it was easy for us. We do have a couple of small rugs which I took off the floor and we have a large rug between the couch and love seat which I was able to block off with a 2 x 4 on each side of the couch/love seat. It literally took me 30 seconds to get the 2x4s from the garage and just lay them down on the floor to block off the areas from the couch/love seat to the wall so the Robovac couldn't get in there and it worked great. I watched numerous YouTube videos and read a lot of reviews on various vacuum/mop units and for the price point I don't think we could have gotten a better one. It would be nice if it stored the mapping of the house and that you could customize that because then I could map around the rug for the mopping mode and wouldn't have to block it off but in the big scheme of things it's not a huge deal. For less than $300 we have a unit that does a very good job and my wife loves it so that's worth its weight in gold.

It is working great. As a pregnant Mom with a toddler I never thought I needed this. Hubby is working crazy hours and this is wonderful. I hope it lasts for many years. If not I will change the review. We all have allergies and getting dust under the couches and beds this is really helping us. It really picks up dust on our hardwood floors. I use it every few days. I use the mopping for killing germs. It doesnt really mop. I use something else for that but it helps keep the house much cleaner. We do not have a dog in the house. I have no idea how it would do with fur.

I love this product. It cleans my carpet and my tile floors. It's so easy to use. When you get it you just plug in the base, put the vacuum on the charge plate, and wait for it to charge. After its charges, push the start button and off it goes. I clean it before each use, but that's just me. I want to order another one, just in case they stop making this model. It does a great job.

I did not want to get a Roomba at all, and I had every excuse why not to get one. However my wife is like any other wife and won’t take no for an answer, and with her birthday coming up I was obligated. She specifically asked for this one. Our house is bombarded with dog hair and it drives her nuts, and apparently I don’t do a good enough job getting it. Anyways when the packaged arrived, it was hefty; that was a good sign. At least my Red heeler won’t treat it like a frisbee. We let it charge and left for McDonalds and it was fully charged by the time we got back. The instruction manual was super easy and all we had to do was push a button; off it went. It manuevered easliy around the furniture and weaved in between the tables successfully. It eventually navigated the whole room, kitchen and hallway with ease, it crossed hardwood and carpet effortlessly (no steps obviously). The battery life is pretty good apparently, it’s still cleaning as I type this review. My wife downloaded the app, so now we’re going to figure out how to use that. Five stars, it does the work for me. I wonder if they make a trailer that can mop behind it, that would be cool. Also going to put my Beats pill on it to make it DJ Roomba for P&R

This is hands down the best vacuum robot on the market, by a mile. I did not receive a free product nor am I compensated for this review; I legitimately believe this company is selling the best technology you can buy and are miles ahead of the rest. I run this vacuum every day automatically and it fills up the bin with dust and dirt that I did not even know existed in my otherwise clean apartment. When the vacuum finishes cleaning, it sends me a notification so I know. It also creates a map of my entire apartment so that I can see if it did not clean a certain area due to something blocking it (eg a chair blocking a corner). The vacuum has never been lost nor has it ever gotten itself blocked or tangled anywhere. Sometimes it can be a little slow getting back home... but I just leave it alone and it always finds its way back. If you can afford it, I highly recommend purchasing the S5 product that this company makes. It is better because it has a more advanced laser sensor so that it can "see" your house or apartment better. However, if you do not want to spend the additional couple hundred dollars, you would absolutely be happy with this product. This is hands down the best vacuum money can buy. There is no better feeling than knowing I will never need to vacuum again!!
