Well Designed and Good Production Values

The box arrived earlier than I expected. Because the kit was securely shipped in both an inner and an outer box, all pieces were present and intact. I was surprised at how well designed the bench is, and also at the excellent production values of the manufacturer. All pieces fit exactly because all dimensions were correct, and all millwork accurate. Some have complained of the instructions, but I found them to be as well designed as the bench. However, you must take the time to familiarize yourself with the bench parts, and likewise with the instructions. It took fifteen minutes to sort and identify the parts, and to read and understand the instructions. Then, less than an hour to assemble it. I give it a solid five star rating.

Well made potting bench

I moved to a condo and was worried about missing my garden. I bought this and a large plant stand to keep my hand in the dirt. This is perfect.

So worth it!

I love it. Simple, cute, easy to put together, fits in the area I wanted to use it in. Very lightweight so you can complete it and move it by yourself. Did have to take the door hinges off, sand and re-paint them as they had surface rust apparent on them. Other than that...the instructions are a bit kooky, but ... anyone with basic common sense can manage to put it together. Liked the fact that a LOT of the parts were already attached.

I love this potting bench! I use it not only for transplanting I also use it for making stones for art projects! I did put a waterproofing on it!

very nice bench

This seems to be a very nice bench for the price. I had no trouble assembling it, I glued the joints just to make sure it held up. the drawer slid smoothly and the doors had a good fit. I am sure we will have a lot fun using it.

Well Made Potting Bench

This is a well made potting bench. The directions for putting it together leave something to be desired. Only pictures and very small ones at that. Even though the description says the fir wood is water proofed, I decided to coat the whole thing with a deck & furniture sealer. Even though the bench will be on stone pavers, I nailed nylon furniture gliders to the bottom of each leg. I've only had it outside for about a week, so time will tell how it holds up in our Florida sun.

Love it! Going to use it as a bar on my deck. So EASY to put together. Everything fit perfectly

Absolutely recommend this item!

Fast and easy assembly, took less than 90 minutes, including taking the parts inventory. The unit is extremely well tooled and all parts fit together perfectly. The only confusion at all, was the "picture" of the screws labeled C and D, deductive reasoning solved an otherwise confusing situation. Both the door and the drawer open without sticking and are very well balanced. I was surprised and delighted to find everything in the box! (two dowels were included but not on the parts list, I assumed they were included for hanging the door?)
