Ok I appreciate quality control accessories and being a licensed engineer quality and workmanship is the deciding factor! This control valve is in my personal D-ionized water system and works exactly how the system pressure control should work!

Came packaged quite nicely in a cardboard box, with foam inside to cushion the meter. It was easy to hook up to my water supply, and then hook the hose that goes to my travel trailer. This item felt solid, and I believe it will work for many years. Easy to understand directions. It was also very easy to adjust the preset 45 PSI output pressure to something a little higher in order to get better shower flow in my trailer. I would definitely buy this product again.

At the suggestion of another RV’er I purchased this and had it delivered on site at the Park we were staying. Yes, there’s a bubble in gauge, because there’s supposed to be one. The oil in the gauge is to dampen needle movement and lubricate. Very common practice in pressure gauges. Also, the gauge was preset to 45 psi, and after bumping it up to 55 psi, my water pressure problem was solved. Apparently the fixed inline regulators are set at 45 psi or less. It should be noted this is a regulator - it won’t increase pressure that’s not there. If you’ve only got 60 psi on the input side, that’s all you’ll get on the output side. Great quality, service and price. No hesitation to buy again if I need another.

Shipping was timely and the regulator, although it has not been in service long appears to be well made. No water leakage (plumbing,) and no oil leakage (Gauge). I would recommend

I had an issue with my camper when I connected the city water to it directly. I would flush the toilet and flood the camper... that sucked. This worked great and reducing the pressure... and I still have enough pressure to take a decent shower...

I have had several issues with the RV water inlet. It is supposed to have a regulator that reduces the pressure to acceptable levels, 60#. My experience is that after a year to two of 80# pressure the inlet leaks inside the RV connection. Needles to say, that is not a good thing and I now have rot in that area. This regulator, set a 60#, gives me the recommended safe pressure for my RV and should protect my inlet from over pressure. Also don't worry about the air bubble in the gauge, it is designed with it.

I had a problem with a cheaper valve that was not adjustable. It continuously reduced pressure and prevented my water source valve on my RV from switching from fresh water holding tank to detecting a city water hookup and switching over automatically. This adjustable valve solved that problem and my RV now detects the water source and automatically switches. It also gives me the protection from over pressured supply blowing out my water lines.

Very helpful adapter to have for our RV. Gives us two hose connections where most parks give you one.

So far so good. Theres been construction going on near us, apartment building going up and they shut off the water to do the plumbing i guess. After it was turned back on the next day the trailer on the other side of us sprung a leak and water was streaming out from thier trailer. It was so bad that inside it must have beeen spraying up all over the ceiling cause it was streaming down off his roof too s well as gushing from the underside. So after the first one I was thinking ok maybe its just thier trailer. Then the second one happened 2 days later and I thought: Yeah not a coincidence and started looking up pressure valves and regulators. Then the next day a third one had water coming out of the bottom of his trailer and i was like.... Uhhhh yeah no! deffinitely gonna get a regulator before we're next so I ordered this and while this was in transit I hoped it arived in time. It did and the little creaks I was hearing in the trailer throughout the day has stopped so i think we were about to pop too. It came in a sturdy box with black foam to hold and protect it during transit. It also comes with the ptfe tape stuff already threaded into the valve and regulator parts so no leaks as of yet. It was very easy to put on I just connected one end to the 'L' joint thats connected to the trailer connector and hooked the hose to the other end. Its reading 52 right now but Its getting colder so I wrapped that foam tube-like insulation stuff around it when I was placing some on the hoses for winterization and had extra left over. So heres hoping it can handle what ever surges were going on that caused those around us to take on water during the construction nearby and keep it at 52-55.

My only concern about this well made product was its oil-filled dial, should the oil possibly leak into an RV's potable water supply, or (more seriously, in my particular situation) into the feed water for the part of my dialysis system that makes dialysate solution by filtering out the chlorine, iron, and other contaminates in tap water. The pressure in my household water supply is 90 psi, twice as high as is recommended for input pressure. The regulator, which can be adjusted for the desired output pressure, comes from the factory set for 45 psi, which is just right.
